Showing Drive Contest!
Thank you to all that have entered the showing drive so far. We will be taking last minute entries (must be 3 years old) until the end of this week and then recording the stats on Saturday for the showing competition. 

The chosen discipline for your welsh ponies is Driving! 

If you need any help with your horses feel free to message one of the admins. We also still have two welsh pony stallions available as entrants.

Do we need to mark them as something specific to get them through standard registration?

Nope, registration has been dropped to 100 stats and 0 points so foundations can be registered for the event and entered into the contest. 

Can we know what the specialty is? I don't want to spend real money on tweaks for, example, a western pony then come to find the announced discipline is something else.

The speciality will only be revealed once we have all entrants, I would not recommend to set a discipline yet. This is to ensure fairness within the group. 

Alright, I don't understand that but I respect that it is your contest; I am going to sit this one out. Good luck to the competitors!    :)

At most you would be spending 10k to reconvert a speciality, and as it's for foundation horses to help out breeders in more niche disciplines I'm honestly not seeing the issue. Not announcing the speciality at the same time is so people aren't spending millions to get the lowest ns horse they can get to modify in order to have an advantage in the competition- it's more of a work with what you have intention.

In that case, I may try to roll a cream Welsh if I have time.   :)      Hopefully getting a cream Welsh is easier than getting a cream Andy. 

When can we expect a discipline to be announced?

I have a question - since the newest Cream Horse Society contest is for young horses, does it mean that foal registration is open for the time?

Yes, young horse registration is open for the new contest.
