Good Vibes Needed

Friday night my little corner of the world got hit with a pretty heavy storm and at least one tornado. As a result, there are 2500+ people without electricity. It's bad enough we're under a quarantine, but now we don't even have power. Send good vibes, please.

... guys. I just realized something. All the food in my fridge and freezer is gonna have to thrown out. We have no way to cook it. I'm only online because we're hanging out at my husband's office. Would it be an overreaction to cry now?

I think I heard about that tornado in Oklahoma, if that was you I hope you're okay. I don't blame you for crying, I've had that feeling before when I felt everything was hopeless but you still have your family and I'm sure FEMA will provide food and shelter. I'm really very sorry that you have to go through this. 

O.o What happened in Oklahoma? Cruuuud. I need to call my mom and check out what's happening. I'm in Texas. About 2 hours away from Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

*hugs* I am near Houston Mouse. If I'm thinking of the tornado that definitely devastated an area recently, then I know where you are. Hugs my dear. Your family and you are in ours prayer. I know that area was hit hard.

There was a huge tornado in Oklahoma :o

Edit:: Oh dang. Madill is just about 3 hours from here. Oklahoma gets the worst tornadoes. We had at least one tornado here in my area. No one hurt or killed, but it looks like the power company is going to have to replace several stretches of power lines. Fortunately, they're working quickly.

Hey, we got a tornado too... South Carolina, it was really bad. Luckily, our power didn't go out and there weren't any major damages, though a few fallen trees in one of our back pastures, overall we are ok. Hoping for the best, its hard :(

Quick update:: They're slowly getting everything fixed, but with minor showers and tiny little storms bumping up over the last few days, it's really slowed down the work. There's now just under 400 people without power, myself still among them. But at least it's a great improvement over the initial outage of 2500+ on Saturday morning. 

We finally got our electricity back tonight! It's so good to be home, on my own computer, in my own bed, with my own bathroom... and AIR CONDITIONER!!! I am the happys.
