Collections/Hobbies

So I am feeling a bit nosy and well, wide awake (currently 2.32am where I am) so I would like to know what you guys collect and what some of your hobbies are?

I collect cars (the real ones) and models, model horses -breyer, grand champion, schleich, barbie, lighters, and books. 

My hobbies are messing with my real cars, showing my model horses, reading and self teaching html/css, and of course EV, I also ran a sim horse game. 

So cars, I had three. But Christmas last year I wrote my baby off :( leaving me with my Barney, and the Hodeo.

Model horses, I have 95% of the Grand Champions, not including customs that I have.  Breyers I don't have that many as I only got into them last year, I have the majority of the pacers, 3/4 of the QH stablemates, all of the obtainable weathergirls, and I have a magnificent black arab stallion resin. (will find pics of them )

Oh boy be ready for ridiculous entertainment lol my collections are legendary. 

First I collect chars here on EV, I have a decent collection of Van's (I'm a 16 year old sooo), I have a MASSIVE bath and body works collection and an even larger makeup collection. I also collect washi tapes, notebooks, buttons, books and beads. 


Hobbies are EV, beading, MUA business, about 9 sports, my dogs and well that's it. I'm basic.

My hobbies are collecting Schleich, Breyer, makeup, shoes(boots), I like to ride my dirt bikes, play with my dogs, do art. Yea. 

I am mostly into the traditional scale Breyer horses. I do have a bunch of classic scales, but I like the bigger ones. 

I usually ride the honda 150 but when my older sister rides she rides the 150 and leaves me with the 50(also Honda), and It doesn't have good suspension. And i love to be up in the air, which isn't good when I'm riding the 50.

I used to be super into collecting Breyer and Schleich models, specifically the horses, when I was younger. I don't do so anymore though, but I still have my collections. Nowadays I kinda just collect all sorts of random things I happen across and think are neat lol. I recently started building up my jacket pin collection more, and made a few myself out of Shrinky Dink paper. Mostly I just draw, write poetry and very short fiction pieces, and click around on either this website or Chicken Smoothie. I don't really have any hobbies lol. Used to ride horses but I have no interest in ever picking that up again because it really wasn't my thing and after having done it anyway for so long I grew to hate it.

I collect plants! I have about 20 different types I think. So obviously not the biggest collection but considering I bought my first two about a year ago and have been adding to it only since Thanksgiving, I think it's a good collection. I'm currently propagating three cuttings of my Golden Pothos, two cuttings I stole from my mom's Christmas Cactus, a cutting from her Easter Casting, a cutting from some random tree thing I have yet to identify but has such pretty red leaves, and my attempts on saving one of my peperomias that suffered from moving so much about a month ago, between the greenhouse, here and school and back here again in a two-week time span. Most of my plants are peperomias. They're my fave ♥

Here is my Golden Pothos! As well as a snake plant which I am somehow murdering like HOW?! And the bottom left is my Peperomia Rossa with a little blue dino that the Etsy seller sent with it :D And hiding behind the snake plant is a marbled Peperomia!


Then, from left to right, is my variegated Peperomia, red-edge variegated Peperomia, the snake plant that's almost dead, and then center is a random super prickly (definitely not fluffy) cactus from Ikea. This was my first plant haul almost a year ago. I blame Jenna Marbles.

I used to collect fish and fish supplies, as well as Breyers and Beanie Babies but both have gotten too expensive for my broke college student self.

As for hobbies, I doodle and draw. I mean, you've seen some of my work on here so obviously lol but I really prefer stippling / dot work. Here's an example from last Inktober. It's of one of my MMO characters (gaming is another hobby but currently I don't have a computer to support it) and one of her summoned pets / thralls.

I've also experimented with alcohol inks, acrylics, oils (never again), charcoal, oil pastels (probably never again), and soon I'll be messing with gouache. 

I also write, but hopefully that'll be less of a hobby and more of a job at a later point :D After all, that's what I'm in school for lol I've got 2 novels in progress, 2 planned out, and I'm hoping to self publish a book of nature poetry called "Pretentious Petals" to make fun of myself :3c

And, of course, I ride. I'm captain of the western team at school and recently placed 4th in my division at regionals for IHSA. Woot \o/ I really don't care about showing, I just think it's fun. As of this fall, I'll have been riding for 20 years ._. Yikes.
