I am wondering who is actively working with chincoteagues in the game and which discipline(s) you have your horses in. I am admin for the chincoteague club and there is a serious lack of participation in club contests even though we have loads of registered horses and members.Β

I work with Western Chincoteagues personally. I missed the contest unfortunately because my horses were all too old at 19(and currently locked until next weekend when it's their turn to breed). I actually bought a horse specifically to enter, since my only other Chinco doesn't meet the conformation requirement for registry, but unfortunately didn't enter in time since I had to wait a day for her to gain enough points.

I'm on my way out of breeding them, so I haven't really paid too much attention to contest and stuff. But I was (and am until I breed out the last pair which are 4 years old currently) doing Endurance as my discipline, mainly because I have so many other breeds in Driving that I didn't want them all competing against each other XD

I raise Chincoteague's but all are under 3 years old and none are being raised to 20 at this moment. They are specialized in Show Jumping and are also registered in Show Jumping Chincoteague Federation.

My chincos are currently locked so that I can work exclusively with my Miniature Horses, but I am a member of the Chincoteague Club and my Chincoteagues are Show Jumping. I saw the contest and would have entered (wanted to several times) but I'm too busy to work with them right now, so that's my reason for not entering, in case you wanted to know. The kind of contest you're doing right now are fine for me.

I was looking forward to starting a new Chincoteague Pony project myself, focusing on Western Chinco's with traditional colors and patterns. I have them currently locked right now as I am really put off with how different foals look compared to the adult versions. Thus why I haven't participated in any contests.

To allow those who don't concern themselves with conformation with their chincoteagues Hermes has lowered the conformation requirement from 55 to 52. I hope this will help some who would like to register and participate in contests and could not before due to the previous requirements.Β
