PLOT
The world was forever at war. Blood stained the grass and the rivers ran red. The beasts and the horses forever in a deadly battle. Until one particular ball of light reappeared behind the blackened clouds.
One leader and his followers sought out a way to for world peace. A village was formed along with a barrier to keep the beasts at bay. The action of sacrifice, a control system, perfect order. The solution was found. Any horses that go against the teachings of the Book would be left to die, or given a warning if lucky. Be careful my dear ones, death runs this village.

INFO

the only village you will be set upon is the village of Bright. Their symbol is the bright rise, all authorities will be seen with this symbol upon their gear. Stallions, at the age of three, receive a burning (branding to Left shoulder) to their hide. Mares, at the age of three, receives a permanent neck cuff (unmovable necklace) with the symbol. At the Ringing of the Bell, the wall will close, closing off the field and opening the wall to the beasts. At brightrise, the wall will slide, closing off the beasts and opening the field. 

Chief:This is the most important horse in the entire village. He will be treated with the upmost respect. He may have two foals of any gender. His mate may be his only source of foals and once mated to her, may not separate until death. Audition 1

Chief Lady:This position is admired by many mares, and will be treated with respect. She may have two foals of any gender with the chief only. May not separate from the chief until death. Audition 1

Patrol:This position includes the duties of protecting and branding citizens. Given to stallions between the ages of five and ten. unlimited

Nurturers:This position is assigned to geldings who have either been assigned this position for their caring nature and gelded, or punished stallions that have been gelded due to the issue of foal stealing (this means breeding to a mare against the law). Their responsibility is to take care of the foals after they are weaned from their mothers (4 months). This includes the chief's foals unlimited

Speakers:This position is assigned to horses with a stern, calm voice to announce events or reminders within the village. Not a significant role, but important to the plot. limited 2

Commoners:this is the bulk of the village. Most of the horses will fall into this selection. They have no particular purpose for importance all though they produce the bulk of the supply. They provide their own protection when not within the walls. Mostly mares make up this division and are often mates to the stallions. May have two foals. One of either gender. Foal will be killed imediatly if rule is broken. unlimited

Younglings:this is the position of the foals after they are weaned and sent to the den for the nurturers to tend to their needs. unlimited

Young:This is the position of foals before weaning when they are still accompanied by their mothers. unlimited

RULES

*Use creative names nothing boring like Flame or Daisey if signing up a new character

*Realistic horses only. Besides the sci-fi theme, nothing unrealistic.

*i have the right to decline your character

*All horses will listen to anybody higher than you. Rebellion is an option but PM ME FIRST!

*Do *not* get overly graphic with mating. This is PG13. Upon breaking this rule you will receive a note of your suspension from the RP.

*Please be nice to each other for your characters can interact/argue but please no arguing among players.

*Use your best literacy skills. Do not make continuos errors. I understand if your device has a glitch or you accidentally typed something, that is fine. Extreme issue will get you suspended from the RP.

*I would love for everyone to have fun and allow creativity to flow from their minds. If you feel bored, spice the story up a bit with a minor plot twist. If you feel left out, please contact me immediately.

*Contact me before making any major plot twists. If unsure contact me.

*Sign up at least two horses,one of each gender.

*Killing is allowed and somewhat encouraged for this is going to be a book. Just remember to ask if killing off someone else's character though that is NOT recommended. If you feel like you need to add a death, make up a character.

*A post must contain at least three quality sentences. This means detailed sentences. Give me a quality sentence with a little bit more detail. They don't ALL have to be complex sentences, but I don't want everything to be boring.  So write with your best skills and best sentences.

*All posts must be written in third person! No first or like this description above is written, second person.

*Remember! You cannot and may not just walk up to a horse and say they are dead. They will not only kick your butt, but i will also say goodbye from this role play. I will not tolerate people that play other characters or just say they killed someone.

History: Kira is not familiar with her past. Her mother is long gone due to Elderly Death (killed respectfully) and her only true sibling passed due to disease spread and was throne to the beasts. Her father was killed for having affair.

Description: Kira is an eye catching mare with a strawberry roan coat. She has a blaze that strikes down her face in awe of her feminine but determined face. Her tobiano markings streak from her withers and across her hind quarters. All four legs have white markings on them. She has a vivid red mane and tail, being darker than her red points.

Description: Totle is a stunning red dun with odd, thick dorsal stripes across his withers. He has small zebra stripes on his legs and odd red circles around his eyes. His eyes are a golden yellow, his legs a dark brown. His back left leg has a sock standing tall. His tail and mane a shimmering redish brown. His stripe starts half way down his face and ends at a pink snip. He received his burning at the age of three, so he has a vivid white brightrise upon his shoulder.

History: As o foal she was quite the sassy not one to mess with type. She would always take charge and liked to be the first to know of everything. Her mother died when she was at a very young age almost directly after she was born. She grew up with no parents as her father died when she was around a yearling. She slept by herself as both her parents were Commoners, Though she had a deep desire to be much more than her parents were.
Description: She is a little bit on the bulkier side but not fat. She is well sculpted and has an even body. She is a red roan mare with hazel eyes She has a bit smaller hooves than most that she uses to her advantage. Her tal is a chestnut strawberry color. Her legs get darker as her coat extends.

History: Cicely was the daughter of an elder mare. Her mother died in birth so Cicely grew up quite fonder and separated. She was seen as unsecured to others and was treated lesser.
Description: Cicely is a lovely liver chestnut. She is a lighter shade on her face and legs and has dark hazel eyes. Her mane is quite long and flows smoothly and her tail is a bit short and plump. She is quite skinny but is built nicely so it doesn't really show. She has few scares from her childhood that she caries. Her mane and tail are a lovely dark chestnut shade as well. She has a pink snip that is attached to a broken blaze that curves on her face.

He has one blind eye which is his left. He does not lt the blindness stop him, he is very stern and persistent. He is heavily built and very muscular.

His brand is on his left shoulder (just like your character). The stallion's eyes are a deep, piercing blue. His thick, ebony-black mane is cut off just at his crest. His forelock, however, was left uncut, so it hangs down to right below his eyes. Parthenon's tail is long, and cut just above his fetlocks. It too is ebony black, but the center is a strange milky cream color. He has a stocking that goes up to his hock on his right hind leg, and that hoof is tan with black and brown stripes mixed in. His other hooves are all midnight-black.

She had just left her mother's belly when the mare had gone to fight, of course ending in getting the stubborn mare killed easily. Her father had fought hard, oblivious to his mate's untimely death, being one of the longest-surviving horses. However, before the battle ended, he too was killed because he no longer could keep fighting out of exhaustion. The filly, named Bellona in honor of her strong-fighting parents, grew up a bully to bullies you could say, keeping her distance until someone got on her nerves because they were being mean or just plain dumb.
Description: (be descriptive. No photos. This is an example of your writing.) Bellona is a striking blue roan, though she is actually a dark seal brown, as visible on her brown-tinted nostrils. Her black mane is medium length, ending in the middle of her neck, and it isn't at all straight or uniform. Her eyes are a lively, dark brown. Her black tail is wispy, coming to a jagged end 3 inches below her hocks. Her neck cuff is silver, and she hates it. She always wanted to have a brand like a stallion, because to her they showed true pride in their village, and the cuffs showed restraint towards mares. His mane, tail and feathers are even darker, almost red in color. Kratos, being the rare color that he is also boasts a rare eye color, light green flecked with gold.

History: She was lucky some said, others look down upon the outsider mare with hard gazes filled with hate. She had come quite a distance to escape her pursuers, it had nearly been a week of running before she laid eyes on the village. Hoping to find peace and and sanctuary with other equine was her only priority at that moment nearly a year ago.
When she arrived, she was taken back by the sight. Her own species living in a society that ran like a cult, the young filly had pleaded with the council, saying that she would convert for her safety and for the fear of not wanting to be caught outside the village walls another night. It seemed like hours before they had made up their minds but eventually she was allowed to stay. Relief took over her fragile body and she quickly set to reading "the Book".
Description: Kady is a silver Grullo Arabian (Tobiano?) with a 'V' shaped white marking that covers both eyes and runs under her ears into her mane. Each one of her thin legs is adorned with the slightest hint of white, just enough to turn her hooves a light tan. She boasts beautiful blue orbs but has heterochromia in her left eye, and it is 3/4 green and 1/4 blue. Her mane is shining silver and falls lightly to her right side stopping jus below her shoulder. Kady's tail is the same stunning silver and falls to her coronet.
