Skyler
Skyler beamed at him and twirled her hair slightly " oh i have science, room 125 first period" she rubbed her arm as her books pushed up against her. She looked around at the emptying hallway and then back to Austin.

Dillion
Dillion sat quietly as the teacher entered and spoke. He leaned back in his chair and listened to he man babble on about economics. He closed his eyes slightly and imagined himself somewhere far away and happy, for once.

Austin

Austin smiled. That's my first period. Gimme a second and I'll walk you to class. He ran back to his locker and grabbed his books and other supplies. He ran back to her. Are you all set? He asked, also noticing the hallway emptying.

Brook

Brook stared out the window. She already knew about the structure of goverments. Brook was not a history person. In fact, she loathed the subject. The only reason she knew anything about history, was because it was her mother's major. Brook preffered something more hands on and imaginitive. She preffered subjects like science and art and music.

Skyler
Skyler nodded and began to walk by his side. She was quite because of the flames of nervousness creeping up her neck. She held her books tightly and peeked small glimpses at him. He was so handsome and tall, she was overwhelmed by pride as she kept on by him walking smoothly. She felt like flying.

Dillion
Dillion opened his eyes as a hand landed on his desk " Mr. Roberts! Please step out into the hall" the teacher bellowed at him and he slowly crept out the door like a scared dog, tail between his legs. He stood in the hall and scuffed his shoes on the tile as he waited.

Austin

Austin walked by her side. Let me take your books for you. He gently took the books from the girl and kept walking. His brother's dog tags mingled as he walked. The boy could tell that she was nervous by the way she had held the books before he took them and by the way she took small little glances at him. Yes, he noticed her nervous energy and he knew why she was nervous. As they rounded the corner, he saw their class. Thanks for walking with me. He winked and handed her the books.

Brook

Brooklyn snapped herself out of a daydream and back to the class. She knew that she couldn't get caught daydreaming or doodling this year. She needed to get good grades so that she could go to art camp. Brook tried hard tonfocus on the boring history lecture. Sadly though, her mind wandered. Luckily, Mr. Moore was a frazzled teacher that was much too focused on his lesson to notice her.

Skyler
Skyler smiled at him and spoke " sure thanks for holding my books" she blushed and looked him in the eyes. The bell had already run but they stayed in the hallway for a moment. " by the way my names Skyler" she pursed her lips as she saw a boy sitting in the hallway.

Dillion
Dillion waited in the hallway but the teacher never came. He sat down and began to doodle on his notebook. He drew large trees and a river, he sucked in a long breath and ran his fingers threw his hair.

Austin

Not a problem. Austin said. His gaze met hers. Austin noticed that she was blushing. And when she spoke, the boy said A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. It's nice to meet you, Skylar. I'm Austin. The boy's attention was shifted to another boy in the Hal when she pursed her lips. Ah. Poor guy. He looked back to her. I'll seenif I can catch him after class to talk to him. But as for right now, I think we're both tardy on our first day. He whispered. He gave a li5le laugh as he ented the classroom and quietly sat down at an empty desk. He noticed the teacher give him an unappetizing glance. He just grinned at her.

Brook

Brooklyn twiddled her thumbs and waited and waited for the class to end. She was quite relieved to find that her next class was science.

Skyler
Skyler followed him quietly dodging the teachers glare. She plopped down in a seat next to another girl and opened her notebook. She smiled to herself and felt her cheeks burning. She tugged on her shorts that had ridden up on her again and began to redo her braid.

Dillion
Dillion jumped slightly as the bell finally rang. He jumped up and ran down the halls to his locker to try to avoid Dallas. He opened his locker and found a note. He read it slowly and smiled to himself. It made him feel good that someone cared. She reached for his technology text book and slammed his locker shut.

Austin

The boy laughed to himself when the bell rang. He hadbonly been in class for two minutes. He stood up and gathered his things. Once he was up, he glanced to Skylar. He gave her a small smile, while he waited for her to gather her things.

Brook

Brook sighed in relief as the bell rang. She stood up and piledup all of her books. She scooped them up and rushed out of the class. Luckily, she got out just fast enough to beat the crowd. As she waljed to her locker, she passed the boy from earlier. She gave a small smile as she passed. When brook got to her locker, she spun In the combination and put her books on their shelves. She grabbed her chemistry text books and some pencils and paper.

Skyler
Skyler glanced up to see Austin looking at her, waiting maybe. She waved and grabbed her books. She walked to him and said " well good class huh?" she jokingly referred to the time being in thee. She flipped her hair behind her right ear revealing her pierced ears lined with diamonds.

Dillion
Dillion noticed a girl smile at him and he turned up the corners of his chapped lips. He headed to his next class. He jogged up the stairs of the school until he reached his second class. It smelled of plastic as he noticed the machines and other students gathered around them looking at the busy materials.

Austin

So very informative! I learned so much! I thank the learning gods for their gift of learning! He clapped his hands together and flattened them out. Austin then raised them to look like he was praying. He liked up and mouthed the words Thank you. Once Austin was done with his theatrics, he laughed. He pulled a paper out of his pocket. He scanned it with his crystal blue eyes. Looks like I have Lawrence's Chemistry class next. He said. He looked back at her.

Brook

Brooklyn slammed her locker shut. She took a left down a hall and then a right down a very Lon hall. As she waljed, Brook pushed her glasses up on her nose. She finally found the class and popped inside the room. She was one of the first kids in the room. She found her assigned station and waited anxiously for her new lab partner to arrive.

Skyler
Syler giggled and pulled her yellow slip out as well. She scanned it slowly and found her second class. " i have.. chemistry too!" she smiled at him. She had to look up to him because of her hight. " what do you have after that? I have Buler Art" she raised her eyebrows at him and wiggled them wildly. She was starting to warm up to his antics and become more relaxed and calm.

Dillion
Dillion sat in a desk and waited for the class to begin. Her quickly pulled out his phone and checked it for any messages. 2 new ones, mom and Brian. Brian was Dillion's brother. He was always there for him and he was a big help with his school troubles.

Austin

Let me see. He scanned the list. After chemistry is a snack break... and following that is naptime... He read a little farther down the list. Then, I have show and tell and recess! He looked up ar her, with a straight face. Anyone looking at him would've thought he was dead serious, his face was so emotionless. I can't believe you don't have any of that! He said.

Brook

Skyler smiled " oh funny.. let me see that!" she grabbed the list from his broad hands and brushed her fingers along his. She shivered and looked over the list " well we have lunch and math together" she met his eyes and looked into them deeply.

Uh-huh. Sure it's funny. You're just jealous! He grinned. Austin gave a small laugh as she yanked the list away. He felt her finger brush against his. He smiled down at their hands then looked up. Sorry, Skylar. It looks like you're stuck with me all day. He shrugged and have her a look that said I feel sorry for you. I can be quite the handful.

Skyler grinned " oh boo hoo!" she nudged his shoulder playfully and said " hey you better keep up with me or ill have to buy you a leash!" she giggled and began to walk to their next class. She brushed her cheek with her hand to feel the warmth of her happiness. She just met this boy and now they were stuck together! Things could not get any better she thought.
