Not unless the fact that Spirit has a hay allergy counts.  (She coughs when she eats hay---we don't feed our horses moldy hay either so . . .)

Have you ever found the perfect horse for sale but their sold a few days after looking at it online?

No but I leased the most perfect brat of a horse and his owner refuses to budge on lease terms and moved him further away so that stings a lot ;n;

Have you ever had a horse with asthma? (mine just got diagnosed)

I have, but it was a loooong time ago, I guess I just haven't really had a reason to lately lol.

Have you ever used split reins? (I personally have but don't like them much)

I mainly use split reins, it takes some learning at first, but after I got used to them they're now my go to.

No, they aren't roping horses so they aren't accustomed the lasso, period.

Is your horse scared easily by noises (gunshots, big bangs, rustling trees, etc)?

I feel all horses are to a certain extent, but mine isn't especially spooked by noises.

Have you ever used a bareback pad with stirrups? (I've used a bareback pad, but not one with stirrups).

I have. I don't own one, but at a stable I volunteered at they had me exercising some horses for them, and one of them was a little Fjord gelding that was so roly poly his saddle just slid right off, so I had to use the bareback pad with stirrups for him, lol. xD

Have you ever shot a gun or bow off a horse (or competed in mounted shooting or archery)? I've always wanted to try that.

Same, I've always wanted to try mounted shooting or archery.  But no, I haven't.

Has your horse ever cut his/her face?  (My partially-retired barrel and trail mare did and it's now just big gash where the noseband on her halter is supposed to go.  We're putting medicine on it twice a day now for it to heal up, though).

Yup. A couple months ago, she "broke her face" so she cracked her skull a bit below her left eye. It's fine, just a divet. Smart girl.

Have you ever had to soak a hoof?

Not soak it, but I've been lathering ointment on one of my horse's feet to try and help with the cracking and all that if that counts, lol (she's got horrid feet).

Have you ever had a horse attacked by a wild animal? Luckily I haven't yet, but we have a lot of predators around, so it's something that worries me.

Yes, the last time I did the pony bucked and I had to get off calm her.  One time before that, the pony bucked and sent my younger brother flying and since he had a hold of my hand, he managed to get me off too.  Not fun. . . .

Have you ever had a horse pass from colic?  One of our geldings did a looong time ago because he ate acorns and then rolled a bunch and his intestines flipped.  He survived that night but died the next morning, sadly.

I think we had two. One I know for sure was Lizzie, a grey mare my mom had. She colic-ed bad, was rushed to New Bolton (amazing equine hospital), and was put down due to severe complications. I think she was only 4 or 5. My mom was distraught.

Have you ever mounted a horse by running at its butt? Or other various interesting methods (lil sis used to "butt bounce" onto her pony. He didn't care)
