Just curious to what everyone does, do you show your horses or put them through riding school? Or both?

I show horses that are near the top of their grade bracket/have exceptionally low nss, and put the rest in riding schools

Most of mine are in the riding school. A select few are in shows, if I see any that may do well in shows I test first for a few days then determine whether it stays in shows or goes back to the riding school. I've noticed my low nss horses are bad in shows compared to the ones that have high overall stats. Unless it's my Vanners, in that case the low nss does well. Idk it's weird- probably off topic too

Depends. If I have a horse who is Regional level but just turned 3 so their training level is 1, I riding school them until they reach training level 3. All of my horses currently show though just because I dont care about the money loss.

I have dedicated show horses that I show no matter what, strictly school horses, or I do both with some if they have a bit higher nss or are low in their show bracket/training.
