what are the limits of inbreeding?

i’m not totally sure i understand the inbreeding block and i’m planning a project that requires it. 

can i breed a horse with its full cousin? (grandparents are the same for both horses) 

it wouldn't work for ya sadly. the relations have to be further back then the grandparents in order to breed related horses. hopefully that made sense, lol. :)

Horses with grandparents in common can be bred. If you enter the horse's numbers in the inbreeding checker it'll tell you if they can be bred.

my project is still in its infancy, and the two related horses that i plan to eventually breed together aren’t born yet. i can’t use the checker on them but i’m sure i have other cousin horses that i’ll check it on! thanks!
