Stupidity Killed the Horse(s)

Ugh, I'm usually good about these things..Staying on top of divisions, locking them and all. BUT, by far by biggest blunder..


I have a divisions that's constantly locked. Horses waiting for pairing, all that. Or they're sentimental and I'm just hoarding them. Anyhow, I must have needed one to pull out, 'cause I left it open... two of some of my best mares died. I didn't know it was open, and assumed it was sales/schooling! And even then, thought I had another day before caring for them! * Face to Desk* I don't recall having them paired up at the time, but still..One of them was a smorgasbord of markings and such. Threw Greeeaaat foals. t_t  Can't do anything about it, besides special draught. But, I'm not spending all my future deluxe credits on one horse..so.

Can't really fix it, just kinda stinks, lol.  Thanks for tuning into tonight's special of  I Don't have Time to Care for my Horses! xD

before I found out about lock, like when I first joined, I would lose whole herds. I went broke constantly having to buy new horses, so I feel for you!

Oh gosh. I'd have just given up! xD That must have been frustrating. "Why're they all dying?!"

Ouch!  I hate it when that happens!  But I am glad that the locked division thing does exist...it saves me a LOT of horses, and I only have to worry about them when I have time.  Or about a portion of my herd for which I have the time.

I never unlock my "locked horse" division for this very reason.  I'll just edit it from the horse menu and move them into a different division.  I left it unlocked one day and thankfully I only had one horse that was to retire the next day, or I would have been devastated.
