Tovero pattern

#203977 Posted on 2019-05-29 06:10:39

On my starter horse, I noticed his pattern said 'tovero'. When looking up guides about breeding and genetics, and also when messing in the custom horse creator (even though I can't buy one :P) I never saw the tovero pattern anywhere.

Am I overlooking it? How did I get tovero?

I really still have no idea what the differences are between all the pinto patterns and their names...never learned it.

Tovero is the combination of overo and tobiano. To get it you need to have both the overo gene and the tobi gene together. :)

You're welcome. :) I'm sure someone else would be willing to explain it in more detail, but I myself am not an expert on it and probably wouldn't do a very good job.
