New Gen Mythology Sign Ups - Open

A brand new Greek Mythology RP open to anyone interested! 

For those who were in the first, this RP takes place in an alternate timeline. Please do not sign up characters used in other roleplays.

Inspired by Rick Riordan's Greek mythology books. Basic knowledge of Greek mythology advised, but not needed.

Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, one of the only safe places for demigods! You may be a seasoned camper returning for the summer (or maybe you stay year round) or a new-comer, but regardless, we hope you enjoy your time here! 

Disclaimer: Camp Half-Blood is not liable for any death and/or injury as a result of quests, capture-the-flag, or other camp activities.

Name: Kale Theodore Renlund (Kale, smoothie, banana boy, whatever you choose to call him)

Gender: male

Age: he's pretty sure he's fifteen, but he's not sure what his actual birthday is

Godly Parent: demeter 

Description: Kale, not mine Kale is 5' 8" and by no means meant for battle or fighting whatsoever, physically or otherwise. He has unruly, dark hair, brown eyes, and a scar on his forearm that he got from being scratched by his friend's cat and another on his forehead from hitting his head on a sharp coffee table corner. Don't ask. He wears pants with as many pockets as possible and worn button down t shirts in flowery, plant-y colors, his favorite being pastel banana yellow, and is always wearing yellow velcro sneakers. He isn't apposed to hoodies - the more pockets the better. 

Personality: Kale is awkward in all senses of the word. He can't hold conversations, he can't flirt, he can't order at restaurants, and he despises cold call classes. He doesn't do well under pressure and isn't remotely athletic. Sometimes I wonder how this kid even walks without giving himself a concussion - oh wait, he doesn't. He sticks by the friends he has and will try to make others, however bad he is at it. Let's hope they find his awkwardness endearing. He enjoys caring for his tropical greenhouse and specializes in tropical fruit.

Other: Melissa's carpool, his adoptive dad is a landscape guy. This is his second year, and hes never been on a quest.

Name: Melissa Deborah Livingston (Mel, Debbee, Queen Bee, a your Antophilic Majesty, Soccer Mom Jr, etc)

Age: 15
Godly Parent: Aristaeus, god of bees
Description: Debbee, not mine Melissa is not super tall for her age at 5' 4 1/2", but she is very long-limbed. She's mildly athletic and enjoys activities like biking, rock climbing, and insect trivia. She has medium brown, naturally curly hair that goes a little past her collarbone, and slightly tanned skin from spending time outside. Blue eyes.
Personality: Debbee is what you'd call a significant annoyance. She doesn't care what others think of her, and as such, does the most weird, annoying, adventurous, and terrifying things she can think of. Debbee is mildly snarky and loves to mess with people. She'll introduce herself as Melissa to some, Debbee to others, and any other strange applicable nickname to the rest, and often flip flops between her names at any given moment, frustrating no less than 90% of the people she meets. Raised by a typical health nut soccer mom, she likes to simultaneously nod to and make fun of her heritage by introducing herself as and acting like your typical soccer mom jr. She enjoys scaring people with her royal subjects and adopted children, the many bees, wasps, hornets, and other members of the superfamily Apoidea.

Name: Tace Arkwood
Gender: Female
Age: 16/17 idk yet
Godly Parent: Harpocrates (god of silence, secrets, and confidentiality)
Description: Tace is around average height, though what exactly she doesn't know nor care. She's shorter then her best friend M, but she doesn't know his height either. She has soft blue eyes. Her hair is short, usually kept pulled back into a messy bun at the nape of her neck. The roots are dark but quickly fades into blonde. An accessory she's rarely seen without is her small bell earrings. In the summer she typically wears jean shorts and a crop top or t-shirt. A white ball cap and sunglasses are also commonly seen on her person.
Personality: Tace is an extrovert. She's confident and strong-willed. Tace is generally nice, but mostly so with her close friends.*
Other: She has a siamese cat named Pigeon. Tace is deaf and communicates via ASL. New to camp.

Character Form

Name: Kendall Mariah Davidson

Gender: female

Age: 12

Godly Parent: well, you see-

Description: Kendall, commonly referred to as Kenny or Ken, is about 5'4" in height, with light, somewhat-tan-looking skin with more of a warm, earthy tone to it than normal tan (idk how to describe it please help). She has a crapton of freckles. Her eyes, eternally friendly and curious, are medium brown. Her hair is a weird sort of brownish red color, not dark but not light either, and very unruly and untrimmed; it falls to just below her shoulders in length. She tends to wear practical clothes, usually a polo shirt or, a bit less commonly, a t-shirt, and either jeans or cargo pants. Seems pretty normal-looking, no? Haha, yeah sure. Except for the fact that, you know, she has large feathered wings sprouting from her shoulder blades. Her feathers are white in color, with some brown flecks and stripes mixed in on the underside of the wings, though they remain primarily white. Another notable detail is that her wings have scars around their bases from classified causes. She also has two small horns protruding from her forehead, which are tan in color, and her canine teeth as well as the ones next to them are sharper than normal. These appendages are due to the fact that she is half human, half harpy.

Personality: Though a bit shy and overcautious at first, Kenny is very extroverted and cheerful once you get to know her, and is super curious about the world around her. She's adventurous, though isn't exactly daring, as she gets frightened pretty easily. This is because she's had to live in hiding for pretty much her whole life, even once taking refuge at the Waystation a year ago, as venturing into the outside world still proved quite difficult thanks to the wings on her back. This will be her first year at Camp.

Other: no I don't know why she has horns no I don't care

Name: Royen Gerard Eidol [pronounced like idol]

Gender: male

Age: 14

Godly Parent: Iris

Description: Roy is a fair-skinned, freckle-faced kid of 5'5". He has a mop of curly, perpetually fluffy light dirty blonde hair atop his head; it's mostly just blonde, but has a bit of "dirtiness" (browns and stuff) in it, if that makes sense. His eyes are a shocking bright turquoise in color, always with a look of haughtiness, which is often complemented by a dazzlingly-white smirk. He wears khaki shorts or pants and a collared shirt pretty much all the time, as he claims it makes him look sophisticated, though in truth it's just his school's dress code. Roy is South African, and as such he is fluent in both English and Afrikaans, as well as Spanish and ASL thanks to his elite schooling. He does in fact have an accent, but has taught himself how to conceal it when he chooses to, which is admittedly most of the time just so he can see people's reactions when he finally reveals it. He doesn't swear very often in the primary language spoken in whatever setting he's in, as "swearing isn't civilized," but is by no means above cussing an English speaker out in Afrikaans if they don't know the language (I don't care if this isn't important, it needed to be said).

Personality: Royen is the type of person who comes across a rich kid with an enormous sense of superiority, though that's only half true. He does in fact have an enormous sense of superiority, but he really isn't rich, per say - just upper class, which is apparently very different to him. He's arrogant, cocky, smug, and highly ambitious, more than willing to do whatever it takes to quench his innate desire for recognition, even at the expense of others. His intense, neurotic ambition can sometimes push him to the point of breaking down, mind flooded with strong feelings of paranoia, but he tries his best to prevent that from happening - and what better way to prevent yourself from having a nervous breakdown than to simply deceive and use even more of your ignorant allies to get what you want, right?*

Description: He has medium-short brown hair, is average height, and likes being comfortable (aka wearing old clothes a lot). 

Personality: he's just your run of the mill normal mortal. well, he's mute actually, but other than that just a soft boi^TM who's best friends with Tace and who enjoys watching movies and writing. He's very mild and observant but can be pressured into doing extreme things. He knows ASL and uses it a lot to talk with Tace.

Description: Drew has short, boyish, messy black, blue, and green hair (dyed), with dull green eyes. she stands at about 5'2", but she makes up for it with aggressiveness. her skin is medium shaded, with multiple freckles splattering her arms and face.
Personality: lazy, hangry 99% of the time, aggressive in a protective way, sloppy
