Horse mystery.

I just bought a beautiful mustang, but her parents were chincoteague ponies.
I’m a little stumped.
Can anyone help clear up this mystery?

Her parents are from before the recode, and she probably got switched to a mustang right after the recode.

I’ve never seen this before, so it was a little confusing.

Yeah, they would've all been a breed that got culled, so their breeds had to be switched. The parents were changed to Chincos, and your mare's owner at the time changed her to a Mustang. She would've had to haved been locked for all this time.

She’s wonderful.
Now that the mystery is cleared up, i just need to figure out the perfect name for her.
