Corrie
 "Wow. Drastic mood change. Sorry," Corrie joked halfheartedly, attempting a smile, though her efforts didn't really follow through convincingly. Will we?

Elodie shrugged it off. "Happens." She glanced toward the large doors leading to the hall. "I'm going to be in so much trouble," she said with a smirk. 

Corrie
 "What'd you do?," she inquired, raising an eyebrow out of devilish curiosity, her grin reborn for real this time.

Elodie Jean 
"Only a few things - I glued the superintendent's office door shut with him in it, hid a few things, maybe locked someone in the broom closet. Nothing big yet." Elodie laughed. "This year is going to be fun."

Corrie
 "You just got here!," Corrie laughed, swatting her friend lightly on the arm. "You can't be wasting all your ideas on day one! Though, that said, you probably have plenty more, so we needn't worry."

Elodie grinned. "Trust me. It's going to be fun. This is just the beginning."

Corrie
 "Oh, I don't doubt it," she agreed, refocusing her attention on her food, which had started to grow cold. She finished up the majority of it, but didn't get up to dispose of it quite yet.

Rosanne
Rosanne panned the room with her eyes, not moving her head, noting that the room had filled up considerably. There are a lot of students this year, she thought, remembering her food and moving to finish the last few bites, but not before studying the other students a little longer. She saw no one familiar, but her family only occasionally went into the nearest village back in the Mountain Kingdom, so it made sense she didn't know anyone.

Izzy

She shrugged, her brown and golden hair bouncing everywhere as though they were in a tornado.
"Eh." She said. "Back home, nobody cared. Too many siblings." She laughed not with much humor in it. "Anyways, that's cool! Do you have to fight jaguars everday at home?" Izzy leaned in closer, an excited look in her bright green eyes.

Clovis
"No," he replied flatly. He noted she ignored his question and seemed intent on asking her own. And continuing with this mundane conversation. "The most dangerous things I encounter on a daily basis are mosquitos and people."

Rosanne
Rosanne finished her food and stood up to get rid of the dishes, strangely disappointed no one had sat with her. What did you expect, someone wanting to be your friend right off the bat? Be realistic, Rosie! she scolded silently, hovering uncertainly for a second before exciting the room; the door slamming shut much louder than she'd intended. She winced, them headed for her living quarters - assuming she could find it in this huge academy.

Jimmy
Jimmy wandered around, wondering what to do. For as long as he could remember, he had to do somebody else's bidding. Now...Remington made him go. 
The stocky boy sighed, and, not paying attention to his surroundings, crashed into a black haired girl with brown eyes.
"I'm so sorry!" HE exclaimed as he scrambled back up, his knee stinging. "Are you alright?"

Izzy
"Oh." She said dully, her interest sagging. She prodded her potatoes with boredom. 
Suddenly, Izzy's curly head shot back up, and her fork fell to the ground with a clatter as she hand palmed herself. "Hey, do you know if we can get extra keys?" She asked. "I just remembered."

Remington
Remington opened up the door to his room and rushed over to the books. With a pleased smile, he took out the book with the words Dragon Care Manual: Everything You Need to Know About Dragons and Their Behavior, 4th Edition. Leaning back in one of the surprisingly comfy beige chars, he began to read.

Rosanne
Rosie looked up too late as a red-haired boy crashed into her, and she was suddenly thankful for the years she'd spent hiking over steep terrain in the mountains, narrowly avoiding a spectacular fall that would've been a great way to start off the school year. She dusted off her shirt and managed a nod while she caught her breath. "Never better," she replied, brushing back her hair as she studied the boy- she was pretty sure she'd seen him in the dining hall but wasn't sure. "You?"
