Okay, so I'm not exactly sure if I should post this here or somewhere else... Anyway, I'm disabled. I spent a lot of time at the doctor's or just on bed rest. EV usually gives me something to do, but in the past I haven't been able to get on for days or weeks at a time. This means I like the new locking division feature, because if I know that it's going to be awhile until I can get back, I can just lock all horses. On the other hand, I am really missing the safety net of horses going to Rescue Center and being able to be reclaimed. The idea of my horses, and all my hard work, dying because I'm in hospital unplanned kinda freaks me out. o.o And unlike my real pets, I can't exactly ask someone to check in on my pixel ponies... Losing them when I'm already in a bad place would be really sad. :c

If you don't lock your horses they die, but can be revived later with a potion. Just thought I'd mention it in case it helps.

That does help with my anxiety a little bit. I guess I need to work on saving up credits in case. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of spending cash, but I guess I could always buy credits with EVD, right?

Yeah, purchasing credits with EVD will always be possible. :) They usually go for 50k each.

If you locked each day before cron, your horses wouldn't age or roll over.

I'm not sure how it would affect shows, but that would mean they wouldn't tick over to the next day until you unlocked them, so if you ended up online the next day all your horses would not have aged or need caring for. I guess if you were feeling a little under the weather, you could always lock up as a precaution. And there's no penalty for locking and unlocking frequently, so that's something.
