Torpid Void

Harper
"Hard not to." Harper took another drink of her water.

Louis
"Don't let it bother you too much. If she burns down New York, she burns down New York. Buildings and stuff can be rebuilt." 

Harper
Harper didn't respond, instead she just continued staring at the wall blankly.

Louis
He finished the water in his cup and stared at the few drops clinging to the glass walls. After a moment he set the glass down on the floor and glanced up at Harper. "Why don't you try and get some sleep? Maybe when you wake up your headache will be gone." Plus you're probably tired.

Harper
"Fine..." Harper grumbled, leaning over shakily and putting her glass on the ground. She curled up into a ball and fell asleep very quickly.

Louis
That didn't take much convincing. Louis stood and snagged the blanket and pillow resting on the dresser. He put the pillow on the bed, caaaarefully shifted Harper the slightest bit so her head was on the pillow, and then spread the blanket out. He left her room and went into his, flopping onto his own bed. 

Harper
Harper's eyes fluttered open, but nor for very long. Regardless of the pain in her head, she was very tired.

Louis
Okay, so what now? I wonder if the others are okay... Probably not, but I'd just make things worse. It's best if I just stay here.

Fayre
Fayre grumbled down the street, returning to Louis' house. She knocked on the door lightly, crossing her arms and waiting for an answer. All the while still grumbling.

Louis
He sat up, head tilted slightly in mild confusion. Who would knock? I doubt Mason, Alice, or Rowan would since there's a sign, but maybe. Louis stood and made his way to the door, flinging it open. "Oh, it's you. That didn't take long." 

Fayre
"Yes well, Aerow sent me because apparently you had a question and Aerow is like... in too much pain or something to care right mow." Fay shrugged.

Louis
"What happened to Aerow?" Louis' tone was a mix of curiosity and mild concern. He motioned for Fay to come inside and then shut the door again. 

Fayre
Fayre went inside with a nod of appriciation. "Uh- she's having issues with reality and void. It happens."

Louis
He hummed thoughtfully. "I was just wondering if there was any way to get a message back to reality. Harper's worried about her mother's response to her being missing. Oh, by the way - Harper is missing a bunch of memories. I tried to restore them but I just gave her a headache."

Fayre
Fayre stared at Louis in shock. "You probably did a lot more than just give her a headache. Really, why are you messing with things you don't understand?" She muttered most of it under her breath, averting her eyes to the ground in frustration. "Anyway... there kind of is a way. Me. But I don't really like doing it so... no."
