🎄River's 2018 Advent Calendar🎄

Welcome to the 2018 Advent Calendar, this year's edition of the fun winter event I began three years ago, which is now in its fourth year running! Not only was this a fantastic event in 2015, 2016 and 2017, but it also proved to be a nice way for me to give back to the fantastic community here! I love this time of year and spreading the Christmas spirit around, so this is my ultimate way to do that here on EV.

All gift items are supplied by me, and this year I have upped both my ideas and my artistic abilities beyond even last year (you can improve a lot in a year), so this season's Advent Calendar promises to be even more exciting than last year's! Thank you to everyone who participated in my Advent Calendar survey last month as well - you guys did a fantastic job giving me feedback that is helping me tailor this event so that everyone has a great chance to enjoy it.

How it works

So here's the deal: During the 1st through 25th of December, for every one of the 25 days the winners will receive the contents of the given stocking for that day. Each recipient of a slot (whether won through the raffle or the auction) will receive full access to the calendar, which means 25 full days of gifts! These presents could consist of everything from gifts like treats or backgrounds, to credit items, to game currency, and art exclusively made for the event (including tags and sigs)!

You will never know which item you will receive on a given day, so your winnings for every day will be a complete surprise! Only I alone know which items will be included for every member and which will fall on which day, so anything is possible! 

Please note

Because of the nature of items involved, entry in this giveaway is highly encouraged for persons who actively engage in horse ownership/breeding on the game, and discouraged for members who do not actively raise or own horses. This Advent Calendar is aimed in part at making your game experience even more enjoyable, so it is important to me, as its host, that you play (even if it's just casually). Members who both engage in the art community and actively breed horses can potentially receive even more benefit from this event, as both Equiverse items and art creations are an integral part of what makes the Advent Calendar special.

Entry

Right now you may be wondering how exactly you can enter, since it is so exciting, right? Well, that is what I am here to tell you. There will be six (6) possible slots for winners, but in order to make this Advent Calendar available for everyone's enjoyment, those slots will be split into two different entry methods.

Raffle - 4 Slots: closed

The first method is a raffle for four of the slots, which shall take place effective immediately. Anyone may compete in the raffle, but no individual may submit their name more than once (regardless of number of accounts owned).

When you enter into the raffle, please complete the google form I have provided and linked below. You may confirm your entry and completion of the form by posting on this topic if you wish. You might also consider offering a small donation if you desire, but it is by no means required and will not impact your likelihood of winning.

The raffle will be open November 7th through November 22nd (that's Thanksgiving in the U.S.) at 12:00pm EV server time. Once the raffle entry has closed, four members will be selected as raffle ticket winners via the random number generator from random.org, using the number assigned to each member upon completion of the google form.

Raffle winners will be announced on this post on the 22nd, some time after the 12pm entry deadline. Members who win in the raffle may not participate in the subsequent auction.

Auction - 2 Slots: closed

The second method is an auction for the second two slots, which shall be held after the raffle has been closed on November 22rd at 12:00pm EV server time. This auction will in part fund purchase of some of the items in the giveaway, and will provide a fun competitive outlet for members who are aiming for the remaining slots after missing out on in the raffle. Individuals who competed in the raffle and did not win may compete in the auction. Raffle winners may not enter.

The auction will begin on November 22rd after 12:00pm server time and end in a week at 10:00am server time on November 29th. Before 10:00am server time will be the last chance to submit bids. Any bids on or after 10am will not be considered valid. The members with the highest bids on each slot at closing time shall win the slots, and must send full payment for their slot before 11:59pm on November 30th. If you do not send payment on time, or you slot will be considered forfeit. Payment for auction slots can be in EVD, EVC, or any mix - EVC will be considered worth 50k EVD regardless of current credit sale prices for this purpose.

I have one question about the google entry form: What's a coding pass?

A coding pass would allow you to get one custom-coded deluxe layout from me (similar to what mine looks like). It includes only the coding, so I wouldn't supply any images, but it would allow you to purchase a layout image, then show me that and tell how you'd like it coded up into a layout, and I'd do it for you.
