I don't know what to do anymore...

There really can't be any decent title to this.
These past few hours have been rough. 

Today, started off as a cheerful, happy morning; who knew it would turn absolutely sour?

Our beloved mascot, the heart and soul of Precious Dreams Farm. The horse I never lived without. Our stallion, Hitt's Samurai Sidekick; or as he's known to us... Sidekick has passed on. 

It was not old age, we're honestly not quite sure what the cause was. But, we will not be having an autopsy done, it's too painful. He deserves to rest peacefully.

_{Also I need to clarify something before anyone comments. At the moment I really don't want to hear "he's in a better place," or now "his hoofbeats will be heard in heaven," 
I'm not a big believer in the afterlife, and always hate seeing those kinds of posts especially when directed towards something or someone I cared for. It's just salt in the wound for me, and a kick in the gut. Please don't do it. I'm spiritual, but I'm not religious; there's a difference. At the moment I consider myself an Agnostic person, but I do get a spiritual feeling when I'm in a Church, or hear about a miracle happening. I believe in a high power, a deity, a creator or creators. But, I'm not a follower or believer of anything in particular as of right now. Maybe, sometime when I'm not about to burst into another wave of tears, I'll explain it all.} 

_{I'll share the full story with friends as it's very personal, and describes me at a very low and emotional mental state. As my best friends know, I don't like being super vulnerable; so even though I originally meant the full version to be shown to everyone. I took it down, because I just can't be that open to the world. It's too hard.}

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Losing a horse who was seen by many as the mascot/cornerstone of the barn is definitely tough to wrap your head around and to get through. :'( ♥

Oh that's so terrible, especially if it was out of the blue. We had an older horse at the barn where my horse is boarded suddenly die over night in his stall. I was so shocked when I heard. May your sweet little guy rest in peace, and may you take comfort in all of the great memories you shared with him ♥

I'm sorry for your precious little one..

 I had to say goodbye to my absolute best friend I'll probably ever have, Buddy, a while ago..He left in a less than easy way, too. There's not many words that can comfort the loss of an especially loved one, but time heals..I've marked you on my prayer list, for your comfort and healing.    “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭ I hope those words can bring you comfort, though. 

I'm here to talk to, or if additional prayer is needed. Take time to rest and not burden yourself.
