*Annual Prestigious Competitions

So, like in real life, I think it would be fun to have prestigious competitions. This could also be where conformation comes into play for horses competing. Each player would be able to enter 1 horse in each competition. Horses would have to qualify to enter, of course.

It would require some kind of algorithm to calculate the specialty stats/ n-s stats / conformation

Possible requirements:
Requirements for entry:
between 3 and 5 years old
minimum conformation of 80
minimum stats of 1000
minimum of 500 show places
minimum grade of International I
(or some combination thereof)

Obviously this could be altered based on what constitutes "exceptional" show horses (I haven't shown enough to know!)

These names could be made unique by whoever is in charge of coding everything obvi.
There would be a huge achievement on the horse's page and they would enter a separate Hall of Fame. This could possibly help the economy, as horses descended from HOFamers would possible be worth more? I don't know, I'm open to thoughts and suggestions. There has to be a way to distinguish exceptional horses in the game and to help the selling economy.

Especially with the icky new show system as it is, how do you expect a 3 to 5 year old to have 500 show placings.....? Moreover, there are already enough issues with the show system. I can't comprehend the benefit of making a whole new algorithm for a SINGLE annual event.

I think this this is a good idea, however the requirements are a little high, especially seeing how most horses won't have 500 show placings in their lifetime and there are many breeds who don't have one international horse. Also, if a horse is of international grade, their stats would have to be 2000+. 

But I do like the idea of a site wide competition. Perhaps not a "show" like the current shows we have now, but more of "competition" where breeders have to do more than just enter a horse. Kind of like one of the seasonal events that EV has, but with bettering the horse economy or bettering horses in general. 

Categories could be most stats increased, most points increased, player with the most horses sold, players with the most money (not transferred to take out art sales) earned, etc. I do see some problems with even that though, because new players with 5 horses would not have a chance with more experienced players with 300+ horses.

@work in progress, Have you still actively been experiencing showing issues? I haven't had issues in over a month now so I'm quite curious if there's still Problems that I'm just not experiencing. 

As for the suggestion, I think it would be super cool to have a monthly championship (I believe there used to be, or it was planned to be on this version but was removed while still in beta), especially if it gave something for confirmation to be useful in, though conformation shows coming back would be nice too.  I'm just not sure right now would be good timing for something such as this to be implemented, we have several big ticket items to be implemented that I would want to see done first (farms, tack colors, foal images, quests), as well as several bugs that need to be sorted out (clubs yo)

But overall, yeah I think something like this would be fun :)

I think this is a fantastic idea, however, I think it should be tweaked a little. Please be aware, I have limited knowledge about coding, (but I am learning) so I don't know how complicated it would be to do.

#1 If it is done yearly, I think it should be done in an "In game" year rather than a real 365 day year. Or maybe this could be done seasonally.
#2 I don't find it necessary to place a high emphasis on conformation in specific unless there was some sort of a halter class added, I think it is better to go off of number of wins.
#3 I don't think it needs to be a specific number, rather I think it would be better if it was based off of number of wins in current division. So say for example if the top N1 horse has 15 wins and the bottom horse has 2 wins then then a particular number in the top percentile of that grade should be invited to the big show. For instance the top 10% of wins.

If something like this is implemented a nice feature to add would be something that goes on the horse's profile to indicate he/she won that particular show. This could increase that particular horse's value for some players.

There are other things that could be done to make this work even better.
