A small smile flickered on her face. "I guess so. The Tavern on the Green is in here somewhere. They have good food."

Mason
 "Is it an actual tavern? I was think more like ballpark nachos, but if it's a tavern you might be able to sway me."

Margot
"Oh. Uh, yeah, I think it is. But there are concession stands all over if you just want something like that." 

Mason
 "I mean, if you seriously wanna spend a small fortune on some overpriced food for a guy you just met, be my guest," Mason joked. "But yeah, I'm fine with concession stand stuff. Reminds me of home."

Margot
"There should be a concession stand along here at some point." Em pulled the map from her pocket and figured out where they were at. "Yeah, just a little ways." She started down the path. "Where is your home?" 

Mason
 He followed her, shrugging in response to her question. "I... don't really know. I guess it depends on what you're asking. Then, I was referring to where I used to live until I came here, but I guess it sort of depends. I don't really have a home. Just a house." It's not even really a house. It's a motel. I love my life and it loves me. But... eh. Could be worse.

Like, when you hear the word what's the first place you think of? Maybe the place you felt most at ease, or comfortable, or happiest." Em shrugged. "Like for me, it's our house in France." I'll stop there or I'll just start rambling.

 Wow. She hit the nail right on the head. "Little town in Virginia. Terrible old school with a bunch of terrible young people and two of the best people to ever have two of the most unfortunate lives. During the 'seventies." He went silent for a moment, thinking over what he'd said. "Yeah. That's home to me."

"Is that why you're going down to Virginia?" Em looked up from the map in her hands to see a concession stand not too far off. She folded the map back up and put it in her hoodie pocket.

Auberon glanced sideways at something, thinking about a few things that were playing in his mind. "What did Cora say to you?" he asked tentively.

"Honestly, I tuned her out," Kahlen replied.

Auberon nodded. "Probably better that you did."
