Airstruck, the design can't be made for anything but this game. Designs you tried to sell or posted elsewhere for other things, do not count. You can create a few designs specifically for here, but they can't be used anywhere else.

Valentino, you'd be claiming Syrian's entry since Airstruck hasn't made a new one yet. She can make a new claim and post after.

you know guys, when you stalk and only claim when you like the design, it kind of kills the game and makes the better artists not want to post... just have fun and improve yourself instead of looking for new charries... please?

Spend some time on your designs and put some original thought in too. This isn't for character hoarding! It's for practicing art and sharing it!

Take some time to think about new, unique markings instead of slapping a few things together real quick just to make the timeline. You have a FULL hour to make a design after you claim it, probably a little over if you're respectful of everyone else and don't make a habit of it. You don't have to rush. Relax. Take a step back from the thread and enjoy your art.

(That isn't directed at any one person, by the way. Everyone's doing great and I'm seeing some improvement already!)

You can make your designs ahead of time too - so there isn't a time limit. I'm slow as molasses so I have to make sure I have a design waiting in the wings before I claim.

Same here Ruki. I design in batches so that I always have a few waiting, so that I do not have to design on a dime.


On a side note, regarding claiming. I personally find that the game has a two fold challenge. The first is creating a design well enough so that others will claim it, I find it especially complimenting when experienced artist claim mine. And the second is choosing which design to claim, since you have to wait a couple of turns. I try to claim designs that I particularly fancy or from artist where you can see the improvement.

My favorite part so far with this game is number one being motivated and encourage to experiment and expand my limited brush range to produce better designs. And my second favorite part is when the game is busy with multiple experienced artists. XD

^ ditto to what Ruki said, htat said, I did have two that I posted updates to cause they were already in progress and would have been done within the time frame, otherwise, I don't claim unless I have something ready or very near ready.
