Shane almost (almost) smiled at that philosophy. It was defintely a different way of thinking.

Quincy
"I choose to use my energy for more productive things. And gamboling around is not productive." Quinn automatically slipped into the shadows of the stairs, climbing them at a steady pace. He wasn't moving agonizingly slow, but running and jumping was overkill in his opinion. His cape swished around him as he ascended, the weight of his phone throwing it slightly off balance. The small chain in the opposing pocket was not nearly heavy enough to counterbalance.

Marina 
"You haven't been to my place then," Mari said cheerfully, starting down the hall.

Outlaw 
The instant she entered the room her eyes locked onto all exits. Never hurt to know where the nearest exit was. 

Quincy
He smirked and moved into the room, having come to the top of the stairs. He went for the back corner again and leaned against the wall. There was no point in continuing the conversation - she had a certain mindset, and he had his own. Quinn doubted she would change her mind, and he had no intention of changing his. 

Shane
Shane got up the stairs and looked into the room timidly. How his claustrophobia had gotten this bad he didn't know, it just was.

Marina 
Mari plopped down in one of the chairs, setting her mass of curls bouncing again. 

Shane
Shane walked into the room, glancing around suspiciously, then rested his eyes on Mari. As much ad he didn't want to, he doubted anyone was actually gonna sit next to her, so he begrudgingly put his backpack on the floor and sat down in the chair next to her.

Outlaw 
She leaned against the wall in the corner furthest from the rest as she waited. 

This person... yeah
"This Person" (aka the teacher) came into the foom and shut the door behind him. He walked to the front of the room and looked at ll the kids. "Wow, is this it then?" He questioned. "Never mind that, how many of you brought weapons?"

Quincy
He raised an eyebrow, lifting his hand slightly to acknowledge the fact he had a knife on his person. If they tried to confiscate his weapon they would find themselves in a battle that they would inevitably lose. Quinn would only give up this knife over his dead body. 

Marina 
Mari did the mental math. At least five, and two in her purse...

He sighed and glanced down at where Mari was sitting. "Quinn." He let his hand drop. If it was of any importance that he had a weapon on him, they knew it by now. He refused the urge to let his hand drift toward the handle, instead folding them across his chest as he waited for further information from the adult.

Shane raised his hand ever so slightly, not wanting to draw too much attention to himself. 
"Good, that means there's only one person that needs a weapon," the teacher said, clapping his hands together.

Outlaw 
She lifted her hand slightly to signify she had.
