Only The Strong Survive

Outlaw 
“Dunno if I should” she replied with a sigh. 

Charity
"I think it would be better if you did..." Charity mumbled. 

Outlaw 
“Alright” she mumbled. She finished the bottle and hid both in a cupboard then jumped off the deck stead of using the ladder. After landing at the bottom she walked off in the direction Auberon had gone. The horse soon came again, and she swung up then continued after Auberon. 

Auberon
Auberon continued walking, coming to a small creek that ran through the forest quietly. He picked up a pebble from the shoreline, the feel of the rock bringing back unwanted memories of Kahlen. 

Outlaw 
The mare trotted along, following Auberon’s scent. She signaled the mare to stop upon seeing Auberon. 

Auberon
Auberon heard hooves behind him, but he didn't bother to turn around. He knew it was probably Outlaw anyways.

Outlaw 
“Auberon, please come back.” She sighed. She was munching on a peppermint leave to erase the slight smell of whiskey. 

Auberon
Auberon still didn't turn to look at her. "Why?"

Outlaw 
“C’mon. If you don’t wanna see me at least you go back, I’ll set up camp for me elsewhere. Charity is cryin over somethin” she coaxed. 

Auberon
"Wait, I'm confused. Do you want me to go back because you want me back, or to help my little sister with her problems?" Auberon asked, turning around to face Outlaw.

Outlaw 
“Both” she mumbled back. 

Auberon
"That's unconvincing," Auberon muttered, turning sideways and throwing the pebble into the creek.

Outlaw 
She moaned, slumping over on the horse. “Auberon” she muttered through the horse’s mane. 

Auberon
"What?" he snapped, looking at Outlaw again.

Outlaw 
“Please, just come already” she muttered.
