Only The Strong Survive

Outlaw 
She dully watched Auberon put it away. 

Auberon
"Lets try not to get addicted please?" Auberon said, noting the look on Outlaw's face.

Outlaw 
She looked away, not wanting to tell him she had been. She had broke the habit, but occasionally she just couldn’t resist that old urge. 

Auberon
Auberon sighed. "C'mon Outlaw, you don't need that to be happy." he said kindly.

Outlaw 
“Sometimes it sure helps” she replied. 

Auberon
"And me not taking pills makes me feel better too," Auberon said. "I get that. But that's not always the best decision."

Outlaw 
She pulled out the new bottle of pills and held it out to him. “Here” she mumbled. 

Auberon
Auberon eyed the pills for half a second, then took them and tossed the bottle on his bed. "Thanks."

Outlaw 
She debated a bit then decided against giving him his dagger back. Not yet anyways. 

Auberon
Auberon bit his lip in thought, then finally decided to ask his question. "Why'd it take you so long to come after me?" Auberon wasn't at all offended by it, but normally it didn't take Outlaw that long to find him, and who would want to stick around to talk to Rayden Auberon didn't know.

Outlaw 
“Had to get your pills first” she mumbled. 

Auberon
"That took a long time..." Auberon raised his eyebrows, but decided not to press the matter unless she wanted to.

Outlaw 
“An asked Rayden how he ended up here as well” she explained. 

Auberon
"He was tryna find a job," Auberon muttered. He still couldn't understand why she even wanted to know that, and part of him couldn't help but feel a tad jealous, although he hid it for probably both of their sakes.

Outlaw
“Uh huh” she muttered.
