Only The Strong Survive

Jade
She turned away from the zombie, wiping her blade on the grass with disgust. Jade glanced up to see the two boys had joined her on this side of the fence, and she grinned at Alex. "Maybe one day I could be." Her gaze cut to the smaller boy as she sheathed the sword. "It's a bit of a long story. We need to move, anyone want an apple for the road?" 

Auberon
Auberon made it back to the Fort (cause he walked so far) and stared up at it. "Should I sing and you let down your hair or do I just stand her and wait?" He asked sarcastically. She's probably gonna throw pinecones or shoot me or something...

Outlaw 
She hurled a couple pinecones at him, hitting him with several. “My hair isn’t that long, duh” she grumbled playfully, leaning over and untying the ladder then letting it down.  

Auberon
"I KNEW IT!" Auberon basically yelled as he got hit with pinecones. He chuckled and climbed up the ladder.

Outlaw 
Once he was up she pulled the ladder up and tied it back on. “Well yah I’m gonna throw stuff at you.”

Auberon
"Anytime you want," Auberon said, nodding his head once. He went over to the bed and sat down, fidgeting with the necklace again.

Outlaw 
“Exactly” she replied, finishing her taco before also entering the hut. She took a 7UP from the case and cracked it open. 

Auberon
Auberon crossed his legs onto the bed, looking up when he heard that all to familiar sizzling of pop opening. He examined the 7UP for a minute, then looked back down at the necklace.

Outlaw 
“You want one help yourself” she said, propping herself against the wall with her drink. 

Auberon
"Nah, I'm good," Auberon said with a slight smile. "Thanks though." 
He put the necklace back in his pocket and placed his backpack on the ground, opening it and looking through the very unsorted contents.

Outlaw 
She took a sip of the soda. Something to keep her lively, as usual. 

Auberon
Auberon pulled out a bottle of water, which was almost half empty. He was surprised how long it had actually lasted, all things considered, but he couldn't deny he was extremely dehydrated. "So... why'd you come to Washington?" 

Outlaw 
“I got sent here. Apparently I needed time to relax. Not much relaxing though.” She explained. 

Auberon
Auberon frowned. "Who in their right mind would send you somewhere to relax?" He asked, looking through his backpack again after he took a swig of water.

Outlaw 
“No idea. I dunno how to relax even” she said with a shrug.
