Unprepared (RP)

Starting scene: All of the high schoolers of the small school say by to there parents or loved ones before entering into the health classroom and sitting in a seat. Once everyone gets there then the teachers have them draw a name and that’s there partners they get assigned with. After that all of them get on the bus and they drive them to the small community of houses that each assigned pairing lives for two months. Friends can still meet together but, with the baby and curfew is at 11:00 each night.

Kali
She entered the classroom, first one of course. She had no one to say bye to. She found herself a seat in the very back of the classroom and sank down into it. Here went two months of torture with some bratty lil baby. 

Jasper
He said goodbye to his dad, younger sister, and buddies then entered the classroom. He saw one other girl there, in the way back. Jasper found himself a seat in the middle. 

Chance
His mother wrapped him in a hug and he returned it. Once she had said her goodbyes, he turned to his father, who pat him on the back. "I'll be fine, Mum. Bye, Dad." Chance turned and walked into the classroom. There were already a couple people inside. Chance found a seat and sat down. He wondered absently who he would be paired with. Hopefully they would get along well.

Annabel
She said goodbye to her mother. Her dad was at work and was unable to get today off. Bella drifted into the health classroom and went straight for the back, settling in a seat in a corner away from everyone already in the room. She adjusted her hoodie strings out of a lack of things to do with her hands. I know nobody here, and I'm supposed to live with one of them? Her heart was already beating fast, and nothing had happened yet. For one thing, Collin was furious about the whole thing. He didn't want her spending so long with another guy. He had gone through the program a year ago - he was graduated - and they hadn't met yet. He didn't really talk about it at all, so Bella didn't know what to expect.

Everly Hall

Standing outside on the sidewalk with her parents and gulping. Taking in a short breath and letting it go before stepping foreward and hugging her mother who told her it wouldn’t be long. Stepping back and blinking her brown eyes Everly swallowed the hard lump forming in her throat. Stepping towards her father and hugging him tightly with tears forming in her brown eyes already. With her father giving a kiss to the forehead and one last hug to her. Breathing shakily and carrying her luggage inside the health classroom. Scanning the rows and taking a seat in the middle with her stuff nervously holding up her nails and biting the ends.

Drew Birming

Saying good bye to his father who hugged him and told him to be “Be responsible with the baby and help out as much as possible.” Snorting at the comment and carrying his bags into the health classroom his black t-shirt plastered to his body and faded jeans with holes that he picked out and threw on. “Hmm” humming aloud and choosing a seat in the back kicking out his feet and putting them in the desk in front of him ready for this to be over with. Blinking his blue eyes and running a hand through his black short hair and leaning back against the wall.

Kali
She watched others enter from under her low slung hat brim, eyes hidden by it. Good riddance, she didn’t know these folks, an Now she was sposed to live with one? Jeez. She must be off her trail doing this. 

Alyce
"Yeah. Say Hi to Mom for me. Alright. Bye, Dad." She muttered, stashing her phone in her back pocket as she nudged open the door with her side, slumping into the closest seat by the door.

Dirk
Dirk entered after another blonde, headphones already pulled over ears, one hand clutching lazily at his bag slung over a shoulder and the other shoved into his hoodie pouch, moving to an empty seat at the back of the classroom, tapping quietly along to the music on his leg.

Chance
He saw more kids enter out of the corner of his eye, but he had gotten distracted when he discovered a pencil on the floor. Chance picked it up and examined it, turning it slowly in his hand. Score! It was a good brand, so he'd be keeping that. Chance tucked it into his pocket and tapped his fingers against his jeans to the beat of a song he'd been working on. He hadn't written any lyrics yet, it was purely instrumental as of now. He was hoping to finish the song during the next couple months. Chance switched to a different song, one that was already completed, and drummed that out on his knee with his fingertips. The lyrics played through his mind and he forced himself not to hum it, or, worse, sing. 

Annabel
Bella glanced at the two boys who had chosen seats in the back. She had hoped it would be an unpopular choice but it seemed she was mistaken. Still, it was better than sitting in the front. She hoped the corner's feeble shadows would be enough to leave her unnoticed. Going places without a friend always made her uneasy. Bella withdrew her phone from her pocket and sent Collin a text. 
> Hey, what's up? Still waiting for it to start. :) 
>> hi. im at the gym right now. 
> Cool! Don't forget to stay hydrated. :p Did you ask about the rules on whether or not we could meet up while I'm doing this?
>> no, didn't have time. could you? 
> Oh. Yeah, of course. I'll let you know what they say.
>> ok
Bella sighed and ran a hand through her hair. Collin knew this sort of thing made her nervous, though he had a tendency to forget sometimes. He was just naturally outgoing, so it was hard for him to understand her shyness. But she would just have to get over it this time and ask, or else they wouldn't be able to see each other for months. 

Kali
She slumped back in her seat. Maybe she should take a nap. Oh who was she kiddin, she anyways wouldn’t be able to sleep with all these peoples around. She gave a low sigh, wishing she was anywhere but here. 

Mr. Joats 

A older man the health director walked into the classroom scanning his brown eyes around the room looking over the students. “Please write your First and Last name on a slip of paper and raise your hand when done and I’ll come and collect it from you. Walking to the swivel chair and desk and taking a seat pulling out his phone.

Everly 

Brown eyes scanning to the front and looking at the teacher with a nod. Getting out a pen and writing her name in cursive on the price of paper already on the desk in front of her. Putting the pen down and folding it slowly wishing she wasn’t about to spend two months with someone she hardly knew and having the capability to take care of a baby. Gulping and raising her hand slowly Everly watched as the teacher sprung to his feet and walked to her desk collecting the paper and pen and then walking towards his desk and putting the paper slip in a bowl. Everly nervously reached her hand to her face and began to bite her nail tips. Placing her hand down and then crossing her arms down on the desk leaning forward and placing her head on the table and sighing.

Drew

Rolling his blue eyes as the teacher said the instructions and sloppily writing his name in the paper and tearing it off loudly. Putting the pen down and folding it crooked with another eye roll. Raising his hand and watching as the teacher got up once more walking to his desk. Picking up the ballet and walking back to his desk placing it in the bowl. Scanning his blue eyes around the room Drew raised his arm on the desk letting his head rest on the arm lazily wishing he could just hurry up and find out who his partner was in this.

Jasper
He pulled out a piece of paper and in neat cursive put his name then raised his hand and waited fir the teacher to collect it. 

Kali
She slowly pulled out a piece of paper and scrawled her name on in crude letters. Why waste energy? She raised her hand boredly and waited. 

Chance
He pulled a piece of paper out of the bookbag he had slung lazily over one corner of his chair. He already had a pencil, the nice one he had discovered on the floor, and he carefully printed his name. His handwriting wasn't neat but it wasn't sloppy, just a happy neutral. Chance did wish sometimes he could writer better, but it wasn't too big of a problem. He folded the paper in half and raised his hand. giving the teacher a smile. 

Annabel
She ripped a piece of paper from her notebook as quietly as possible, wincing inwardly at the sound, and wrote her name in small cursive letters. She hesitated after and, seeing that other people had their hands raised already and she wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb, lifted her hand up a little bit into the air. The paper was folded carefully and rested on the edge of her desk so the teacher could easily take it. Bella ran her free hand through her hair in a nervous habit. 

Alyce
Alyce waved to get the teachers attention, throwing her signature sardonic smirk, meaning hidden behind pearly white teeth at the male. "Hi, Sir? Question." Although with how she said it, it was more of a statement rather than a question. "Can I borrow a pen?"

Dirk
He rummaged through the front pocket of his bag, coming up with red ballpoint that had barely enough ink left - he only weote his frst name, due to said ink shortage, bjt also due to the fact that he was probably the only 'Dirk' in the entire state, let alone the experiment. He took cues from the others, resting his elbow on the desk as he lazily extended his arm, wiggling his fingers testingly.

Mr. Joats

Seeing all the students raise there hands in the air he went up to them one by one getting the paper and holding them in his hand. Nodding as one asked for a pen he picked up the last name and went to his desk dropping them in the bowl. Picking up a black ballpoint pen and walking back to her desk. “Here.” Placing it down and the. Picking I t back up and placing it in the bowl. “A few students are running a bit late this morning so please just sit quietly and be patient till you get to draw a name.”  Sitting back down and leaning back into his swivel chair closing his eyes and resting them momentarily.

Dove

Dove waved by to her dad and little sister as they pulled away before turning around, adjusting the bag on her shoulder. Walking in to the classroom, she found an empty seat near the back and walked over to it. "Hey can you move your feet," she spoke to the boy, a look of disgust crossing her face. She didn't wait for him to speak up before taking a hand and shoving his feet out of her way, cleaning the dirt off the seat and sitting down. Pulling a piece of paper and a pen out, she neatly wrote her name down holding the strip in the air for the teacher to take.

Finn

Finn rolled his eyes at his mom who was hugging him unbelievably tight, nearly suffocating him. "Mum, alright, I have to go, I'm already late," he spoke against her shirt, pushing away. She had a smile plastered on her face. "Fine, be good," she said bringing him in for another quick hug, "I love you." Finn nodded his head, "Love you too mom." He turned to face his father and brother, both of them giving him a pat on the back. "See ya later, bud," his father spoke, leaving to follow his mom to the car. "You'll do fine," his brother spoke, grabbing his shoulder and playfully shaking him. Finn rolled his eyes at him. "Says you, you're the one that got to graduate a few months early," he spat at his brother, backing away. "Hey, don't get ya undies in a wad, can't help it I'm smarter than you." They both laughed. "Bye," Finn spoke, leaving to go into the classroom. It seemed he was the last one here, quickly choosing a seat in the middle of the room. He scribbled his name on a piece of paper just as the other kids had and handed it in to the teacher. 

Drew

Watching as another girl came in late and asked him to remove his feet from the desk before shoving them off. “Hopefully I don’t get you for two months.” Mumbling under his breath and removing his feet back under the desk and putting his head down with a sigh of exhaustion. Opening his dark blue eyes and looking as the teacher collected the last of the slips. Eyebrows knitting together in annoyance not wanting to draw a name from the bowl.

Mr. Joats

Nodding as the last two students came in and getting up from the desk walking over and collecting the slips and walking back towards the desk. Putting them in the bowl and then walking with the bowl to the front of the room. “As you already know the time has come to be matched with someone and raise a baby and see what parenthood is all about.” Walking to the front desk and holding out the bowl. Before going down all the desks till everyone drew. “Young lady please read who you got and stand up and come to the front.” Motioning towards Kali and stepping back.
