I have 3 dear characters to give away. I've always kept my character count to less than 10 because I know I wouldn't be able give them all love if I have more. I've never resold any of my characters, only giveaways. Since I've had these characters for quite a while, I want to give them to someone who will cherish them so these 3 are up for draw or write to adopt. I know some people may not be the best at drawing or writing so there's an option to do both. I will judge them equally. 

I reserve the right to not give away any of the character if I don't see a fit owner. Thanks.

First up is Caerula. 

She has one tag and one sig. Her ref was fully custom.

She is blue and calm like the ocean. Serene.

Next is Queimado.

I think he was my 3rd character on EV. He has 5 tags and one large art.

He's tall and graceful. Thinks he's all the matters though.

Quei's Art

Lastly is Hokori.

She is actually mates with Kafne but I really couldn't let him go. If you win her and would like to keep them together, that's fine with me. We can both order tags for them or something. It'll be cute ♥ 

She has 9 tags, 2 sigs (although one of them has other characters on it), and 3 large arts.

She's a feisty little one :P

Character Name/If you want to change it what would it be: Hokori- I don't think I'll change it although I might; if I do I'm not sure of a name.

Your Submission: Hokori walked through a forest. the cool breeze rustled the leaves giving her a pleasant feeling. She had been separated from her herd two years earlier, and met a stallion, her mate, soon after.

The river rushed not far away, mixed with the leaves' rustling it made for a very pleasant sound. 

As she kept walking, she soon got close to the end of the forest. She saw a clearing filled with horses and she heard familiar whinnies from the clearing. She galloped towards the clearing and saw a sight she had never expected to see again. Her lost herd. Home at last.

What do you plan on doing with him/her?: Get her lots and lots of art, I adore her design (+ the lines are stunning), she's too gorgeous to sit around and collect dust.

The backstory's kind of short; sorry. It's my first time writing a backstory, so this is partially so I can practice and also because that is just about the most gorgeous character (and I love her art) so yeah.

And if I happen to win her, I'd love to keep them together, what you mentioned sounds great if I get her.

Character Name/If you want to change it what would it be: Caerulan- if changed would change it to Dancin in the Deep  

Your Submission: 

Caerulan looked out over the calm ocean from the rocky cliff on the island she now called home. She thought back to how she’d gotten here. She and several other horses had been sent on a ship to a new land. Here, in the middle of the sea, a sudden, violent storm blew up. The ship was split in two when caught between two large waves, and had sunk. She and Sundanced Water had been the only ones to make it. The crew and other three horses had gone down with the boat, and she herself had almost not made it. Caerulan had lost her senses, not knowing what way was up or down, and had started to sink into the dark waters where the ship had vanished, when the Old Ones of the deep spoke. They had granted her the powers to transform into a merhorse upon her wish, and she had done so. For a time being she had swam in the dark depths, but had longed for the sun, and the bade her to go, and return whenever she wished. She had gone to the island, changing into a regular horse the instant she hit solid ground, and found Sundance there. And there she remained, but whenever she had the whim too she would leap into the ocean, and go dance in the deep with the old ones and the spooks, and she was content with her life. 

What do you plan on doing with him/her?: Once I (eventually lol) have my character site up I wanna start a herd of Sea horses, and her colour fits that perfectly, she’s absolutely stunning.

Your Submission: Caerula glanced back at what had been her family for years. But once more, it was time for her to leave. The wanderlust had grabbed at her heart, and would not let her go. Now was the time to race as fast as she could go, to do whatever she liked--and her spirit thrilled at the thought. She been most everywhere, except towards the south. She would go there, and see the new sights, and all the new things. She had been happy, but she would be happy once again. 

Caerula tossed her mane and pranced away; happy to be truly on the move again. And this time, she would be free. Her spirit soared with happiness.

What do you plan on doing with her?: Displaying her with pride on my character site, and hopefully actually getting into a roleplay or two!

Character Name/If you want to change it what would it be: Caerula, would most likely not change it.

Your Submission: As a foal, Caerula was different. Her mother had been unable to keep up with her herd when she was pregnant with Caerula, and had found this herd. The herd had accepted her with reluctance, and when they saw her foal, like no other horse they'd seen before, they assumed her to be dangerous, magical.

One day a foal found a bear cub, and the mother attacked the herd, with brutal results. The guilty foal found it easy to cast the blame on Caerula's mother, and she was banished from the herd, forced into a dangerous forest. They told Caerula her mother had simply disappeared, and she ran off to look for her. She couldn't find her, but in her search she saw the ocean from a distance and was instantly captivated by it. She went to the shore, and after a few days there she stumbled apon a stallion, colored a little like her. He'd been refused by every herd he went to, and they decided to stay together, by the sea they both loved so much.

They live there to this very day, knowing they'll never go back to a herd again, but they offer refuge to all who have no place to go, so they might have a herd themselves someday. 

What do you plan on doing with him/her?: I'm planning on doing a story with my characters, and she'd be a part of it, and I'd get some art for her of course. ;) The stallion in the backstory would be my character Betta.

Lord, I remember seeing Hokori somewhere about a month ago and completely falling in love with her ♥

Your submission: 

This is losely based on the story of my mare and I, and our journey :)  It was typed up on my phone so I’m sorry if there’s any errors. I’d like to think I scanned it well enough but ya never know. 

The white vinyl fence shone in the morning sun rays, and the green grass glistened with water droplets from the night’s light rain shower. Hokori stood in the pasture, the golden rays shining on her coat. Her head hung over the fence, touching noses with the gelding beside her, Kafne. A face peeked out of the large barn doors out to the pasture the mare was kept in, and soon a body followed. A girl dressed in a navy sweatshirt and tan breeches scurried happily down the brown dirt path that led to the pastures.  She had come and finished her morning chores early so she could ride her horse before work later on. She carried a dark brown leather halter in one hand, and a purple lead in the other. She climbed onto the bottom rail on the fence and whistled to the mare, the pinto came bucking. The pair had an odd bond. The mare everyone thought was crazy and the shy girl who never talked. Somehow though, they clicked. It had been two years since the pair had first met, and a month from now they were to show in their first Pinto World Show. The blonde haired girl swung the gate open and stroked the mare’s fine muzzle before sliding on the halter and leading her out of the pasture. She turned and shut the gate behind them before walking to the barn. The mare reached out her velvet mug and nudged the girl’s pocket, looking for any treats she may be hiding in there. With a chuckle, she handed over a few treats. And with that, the two walked into the barn, both eager to get to work. The only thing on their minds was showing everyone that why were this mismatched pair that could. 

What do you plan om doing with him/her?: She’d be added to my HARPG stables, so she’d be entered in shows, possibly have a few foals and collect lots and lots of art :)

First of all there are not enough draft horse characters on EV let alone one that looks a lot like one of my beloved Clydesdales! So I thought I'd give this a try. This is my first attempt at a horses backstory but I did my best to imagine a fitting scenario for the big guy in question!

Character Name/If you want to change it what would it be: Queimado   // It would not be changed as I don't believe in changing a horses/character name once you own it as it already identifies with its original name.

Your Submission: Queimado has been a proud & noble horse from the moment he entered the world. In his adult years this can be mistaken for arrogance but he truly is just supremely confident in himself and his own abilities. As such he is the most sought after mount for the noble Knights of the realm. 

With the trusty surefooted Quei beneath them, there is no Quest too small nor too big that horse & knight can't complete. From rescuing imprisoned Princesses to slaying magnificent (yet terrifying) Dragons.

Despite towering over most other horses he displays remarkable agility & grace & is not unknown to (once everyone has gone to bed for the night) put in a round of Grand Prix standard Dressage test (his Passage is to die for) down in the jousting competition grounds.

Rumour has it his next Quest is looking for the Holy Grail... Quei doesn't understand why they need to go on a quest for this wondrous item as he knows exactly where it is...safety strapped to his right hind canonbone nestling beneath his marvellous feathers. Well where would you keep safe such a precious item??!! Unfortunately as Quei cannot speak & Knights don't understand neighs Quei can't tell them this. Then again does he even want to?? Such items in the wrong hands usually prove dangerous.  No. Quei decides the Grail is safer nestled in his feathers so keeps his secret with a quiet dignity. Shhh.......

What do you plan on doing with him/her?: Showering him with daily cuddles & much love! He would also join my fave unicorn character (seen to the right) as my main tag design critter.

Character Name/If you want to change it what would it be: Caerula. I feel that this name is unique and goes very well with her looks and personality.

Your Submission: "In the deep depths of the enormous sea lurks great evil - so wicked and vile, that even the greatest sea captains don't venture to say Its name out loud. It is said that if one happens to look straight into the black bottomless eyes of It, they shall be bewitched with a gruesome curse for their remaining short life. The grating roar of It is deafening. It has dark green slimy tentacles, like the ones mighty Kraken has, to pull sailors overboard with their great force and drown the men. In addition to all that, It uses the bright green spots on Its body that glow mysteriously in the dark to mimic faraway village lights on the shore to lead ships onto a shoal or into sharp rocks. The clattering of Its strong hooves on the rocky sea bottom causes the most destructive thuderstorms and hurricanes." - these are only a few of the bizarre legends about the feared sea creature, Caerula, that are circling among the younger and older sea captains, sailors and fishermen.
Some fortunate sailors who have survived a horrible shipwreck claim to have seen Its divine glow through their half closed eyes and felt Its long and soft seaweedlike tail being wrapped tightly around their limp bodies. They have all woken up on the shore, tired, but safe. They have been labelled mad, because the unidentified sea creature is not supposed to do any good. Others tell horror stories at seafront inns about failed attempts to hunt down that dreadful monster. Few people have actually seen this pale ghostly creature and even fewer dare to spill a word or two about that encounter. Even if someone agrees to talk about Caerula, it is always done during the daytime and in a low voice, either because of the sickening fear or admirable respect towards the creature.
Stories are stories, the truth, however, has long been forgotten. The truth about the so-called deathly sea monster lies in the ancient Forgotten Book written in an ancient language that no man on Earth can understand these days. Books were gradually forgotten by the people and the primaeval writings of the magnificent Caerula almost completely died with the forgotten language.
It is believed that all over the World there still are a few individuals who possess fragments of the original knowledge of the rare Sea Horse, the Master of all Seas and Oceans, a good spirit that protects the wildlife of the sea, roams gracefully the deep dark waters and saves people from shipwrecks. Her delicate neighs often obtain a terrific sound when they rise to the water surface, that's what many sailors who doesn't know the truth call "The Devil's Neigh".
On the back cover of the Forgotten Book stand words: "Man is afraid of the unknown.".

What do you plan on doing with him/her?: She would be displayed on my Home Page and would play a big role in a story about my characters which I'm planning to write. I would also like to get more art of her, all the details and colours look fantastic on her! She would offer great contrast to my another character Amira, who's also a fantasy horse but instead of living in the sea, she's from hot Egypt, I think tags and sigs of them together would seem interesting.

I had lots of free time, so tried to colour Caerula on PhotoShop. Used a free horse creator for the lineart, highlights and shadows, coloured and added the add-ons myself. It's a bit rough, it was my first time actually colouring/drawing something on computer, but I had fun with this. If someone else wins her however, I'm willing to gift this to the winner.
