I've been having trouble with breeding my horses because I have so many that are too closely related and at this point, I have too many to keep track of, so I think I'm going to start over with different breeds. I currently have Lipizzaners, Andalusians and Paints and Friesians, but I think I'm going to transfer over to Gypsies, Minis and Shetlands. So if anyone is looking for quality Andalusians, Paints, Friesians, or Lipizzaners, I have over 100 that I need to sell.

To me, I think the easiest way to not inbreed is to introduce foundation blood into your lines, sorta often actually :) then you won’t feel like you have to completely start over. Idk, to me introducing foundation lines still feels like progression and not just a stick in the mud before things get moving again stat wise haha
But I’m not here to stop you if you’d like to switch breeds! Good luck with your next endeavour! :D

I agree with Siren. I started some foundation lines a while back & now they are 4th generation in Im starting to mix them in with my old lines. Constantly adding new blood is essential now!

I think the problem is that I'm not having as much fun breeding Friesians, Andalusians, Lipizzaners and Paints

Yeah it also helps if you are devoted to the breed! I have always adored my dutch wbs & have bred them on every sim going at some point over the years... It took about 2 yrs for me to feel the same way about my Trakes but now I love the breed.

However the recent additions of Chincos Im finding hard to get into & Friesians are a bit "meh" at the moment.

I hope you find the right breed for you :)
