Composing!!! (Among other things)

Hi everybody!!!
It's really late and I'm super tired, but I just got inspiration for a classical music composition XD
After hunting through spotify for nature soundtracks, I've compiled an ever-growing playlist of various nature sounds. 
You're probably wondering what the heck is going on and why I just spent a half hour looking for bird noises on spotify. Lol I don't know either, but we'll see what comes out of it!!

Some things you probably didn't know about me:

I compose music! I mostly do  music for concert band (seeing as thats what I play in) but I'm hoping to get into symphonic orchestra and/or jazzy pieces again for concert band.
I also arrange other popular songs, movie themes, etc for quartets, wind ensembles and a variety of instruments.
I'm a band geek (and I love it!)
I play flute and want to learn piccolo! ♥ (also play piano, don't love it as much but I'm trying to get into it)
John Williams is one of my favorite composers of all time! John Mackey and I have a love/hate relationship. (We played his piece Undertow in band for a music education conference in my state. Cool sounding piece, literal heck to play at first. I survived though!)
Ledger lines are probably the reason I have glasses (flute players for the win!!)
I'm a music nerd in general :3

Anyway here I am XD listening to crickets in the rain via my ear buds as I type this

Haha, I have a playlist of nature sounds as well. It includes wolves howling, loon calls, cows grazing, creeks, and woods at night, lol. XD

I play flute too! I have been trying to get piccolo for my marching band but I am in my senior year now and my director already picked some people to play it so it doesn't look like I will be playing piccolo at all (even though I own one but it needs to go to the shop but if I don't neee it why fix it lol)

I'm hoping I get second chair next year  (I'll finally actually be in ninth grade ha ha) to play picc but I'm pretty sure our picc player will still be playing next year so I'm gonna try for first chair I think :3

It's begun everyone!!! (Lol not like people care but) Working on picc and flute parts as well as pitched percussion :3

My brother does 'sound scaping'. Basically where he goes out and records a ton of nature sounds, then puts it into his music (he's a musician). 
Lol, but that's awesome though! You're talented with music, that you are. ♥

Ooh that's cool rainy! My friend does that in a way, and it's super cool! (He actually got published on spotify I'm so proud of him)
