Stupid Ear Infection!

Gahhh! So the other morning I woke up with a horrific pain in my right ear. I could barely hear out of it. The pain was killing me. It was 6:00 AM and the doctors office didn't open until 8! So I had to wait 2 hours to call in and then they couldn't even fit me in until 11:30, so I had to wait even longer. I went to the doctors office and they put a little tube in my ear and the doctor's words were "Oh yeah, that's a bad ear infection." (It looked very gross). So I came back home with like 6 different boxes of pills that I have to take twice a day for around 10 days or more. Also, the infection is caused by colds and the fluid doesn't drain right and therefore causes an infection in my ear. So not only do I have a terrible cold/cough/fever, I also have an ear infection and can barely hear out of my right ear. It kind of feels as if I have headphones over only one ear. It also itches really bad. I really hope it heals quickly!

I know that exact feeling - I've had multiple ear infections too. I know it's sucky but hang in there, it'll get better.

Ouch, I had a really bad ear infection in my left ear and now I can only hear sounds, I would say 50-50.
It was really bad, I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks guys. This is actually my first ear infection since I was a baby. So it has been quite a long time since this has happened. My ear infections when I was a baby were so bad that they had to put tubes in my ears and after they treated one infection, another one would come.
