My Stupid Cat [whom I love]...

Sometimes they recommend giving them just a finger scoop of vaseline to help anything they may have eaten to pass.  I have a kitty who likes to eat plastic. It is scary when you think they might eat something that will cause a blockage or some other type of damage.

Wow, scary what some cats think of as edible!

My cat, Starlord, has not eaten it yet (thank goodness) but he enjoys chewing on cell phone chargers. Just. Any other cords in our house are safe, except for the cell phone charging cords....   >. <

I've not caught my cat, Robin, eating anything particularly strange, yet. Well, besides plants. Looooves to eat the flowers we get..which is never. Specifically because she eats them at night and ruins them :') But on the other hand, she acts pretty weird sometimes. Does anyone else's cat scream? Robin will wander around the condo at night and just go "..WRAAAAAH...MWRAAAAH" It's creepy. I bring her in to sit on my bed, but she just jumps off and keeps yowling!
And of course, stealing hair ties. Probably why I lose so many..hm. Oh, also, our kitchen has many cabinets that form a sort of run way above them; Being the nutcase she is, she'll hop up on the counter, which is already considerably high, onto the fridge (again, High!) and up on a cabinet. All this is done in a manic, scrambling manner. For no reason. I dread the day she gets too wild and slips :< And then she hop down a minute or so later..if you're gonna go through the effort, why leave so quick?? Goofy creatures..like us, I guess, heh.

@Botania: Is Robin fixed? Female cats will yowl when they are in heat to bring all the male cats to their doorstep. here is a youtube video of a female cat in heat to compare with your cat (it's not the same sound for all cats but the intensity is normally the same). Another possibly is that she is bored and when she makes that noise she has learned that you become concerned and interact with her, so she does it to get an interaction.

If this manic time your talking about is dusk/dawn it's kinda a known cat phenomena, she is just releasing some pent-up energy. (playing with her using a da-bird or chaser toy might reduce how often it happens) Also going up high is a cat's favorite thing as they are arboreal (tree climbing) predators by nature, you might find getting Robin a nice tall cat tree and putting it near a window will reduce how often she climbs on top of the fridge.

But yes cats are the goofiest animals in the world so she is still going to do crazy things. c:

Yep, for sure fixed. Secretly, I think she does it to annoy us, lol. She yowls at the door then runs away before anyone can get to her. We did have a fireplace she could hop onto in the old house that acted like a cat tree for her. Maybe the cabinets are her choice, now. Also seems to be quite fond of the windowsills. Being by the ocean, she watches all the seagulls and birds and such, hehe.   We did have a laser toy, but that burned out and she got bored off it. And she always loses those mice toys, or they get eaten by the dogs before she can whack them away...Seeing that my dog who'd chew them up has now passed away, maybe we should try them again. Hm..

Yes, weird, weird little things. Very sweet though; Or at least in Robin's case, lol. She sleeps on my pillow right next to my head, now..or on it, hehe!
