This Is Happening (UPDATE)

By now, I should think a fair few of you are aware of my pair Koi and Tempest. I'm considering attempting to make a manip of the two together but.. let's face it, I'm not really that talented. Someone talk me out of it. Please. Before disaster ensues. -begins cutting first stock image anyway-

UPDATE:: Well.. I'm definitely doing it, Lord help me. This is honestly one of the biggest things I've ever tried to do. I've never actually done recolors before besides a very crappy attempt at a palomino. But, I'm excited to see how this will come out.

It's not as big of a wreck as I thought it was going to be but I've learned that markings are definitely not my strong point. xD
