What is the EV Jump! Guild?

I had a crazy thought on 19/2/18 (when this club/hub was created) of Hmm, why isn’t there a club for horses trained in the Show Jumping discipline?

The vast majority of my own horses are in this discipline (or were til I went Driving mad in Jan 2018!) and there must be others out there looking for potential Studs/Broodmares/like minded players across all of EV.

So long story short I though I’d take a stab at running a club – as if I didn’t have enough to do already!

It could be fun or it could be a total disaster. Come Join & find out :D

 

Boring Stuff AKA Rules

Please be (relatively) nice to fellow Jump! Guild members & try to have fun. Having fun is not mandatory.

There are no more rules. Keep it simple I say.

 

Horse Registry Requirements

$100 per horse

Min Stats 250

Min Conformation 58

Min Grade Novice 1

Show Jumping discipline trained only – though I appreciate convert training will mess with my registry but I don’t mind much! *shakes fist in advance at converted pixels*

All Ages/Breeds are accepted as technically any horse can jump – its just a question of how high... Cavaletti or Puissance mum?!

 

Player Registry Requirements

Gimmie $500 one off fee & you’re in! I don’t give a hoot about your player level/ whether you “overbreed” your horses/if you’re a rescue, serious breeder or undecided. This is not a strict club :)


Fun Stuff

Once we get some members we’ll start having a few prize winning events such as; Monthly Mascot Contest (MMC), a Monthly Player Spotlight (MPS) nominated either by themselves or a fellow member – we all know about our beloved pixels but what about the players behind them??

A Horse of the Year (HOY) Contest in January of the following year where Guild members vote for their favourite Monthly Mascot winner to net the owner a colossal prize of $1mil EVD. Wooooo what a nice way to start a new year!

Possible the usual Training Contest but let’s be honest who has time to do that??!! I’ve tried it a few times & it’s hard. And I have a team of awesome show pixels if I don’t say so myself. Lol. So…. Maybe an Anti Training Contest then. Is it possible for horses to loose stats rather than gain them…?

And frequency depending, a contest which could be an EV first! A Costume Contest – only decorated pixels may apply (think Santa Hats/Cloaks/Holly Bush/Love Birds/Petals/Doves/Falling Snow etc accessories!)


So yeah fellow Jumping Ev'rs unite. Unite I say!

PRIZE - $50k EVD to the winner & the horse will be featured on the Guild's page for the month of May then in the HOY Contenders section!

I shall be announcing the winner late this month as I shall be on vacation 20/4/18 until 2/5/18 but probably not logging on til the 3^rd at the earliest – it’s a late night flight & I shall be asleep most of the 3^rd. Ha! :D

• THEME - Gold (Darks - Palomino & Lights - Creams) - to remind me of my tan from my recent holiday any horse breed/shape/size/gender as long as it is Palomino or Creamy in colour (Roans/Solids/All coat patterns accepted)

Question, is there any chance that you'd be wiling to include other gold-ish colors or no? Because if so, I have a horse that I'd like to enter (he's too young to be registered, since he can't be assigned a specialty until he's 3, but he meets all of the requirements).

Sorry did I miss a type of gold off?! I only breed limited coat colour ponies myself so I may have missed something by sheer ignorance!

PLEASE NOTE CLUB IS EXPERIENCING MAJOR ISSUES WHEREBY I CANNOT DO ANYTHING AT ALL WITH IT SUCH AS ISSUE NEWSLETTERS / PAYOUT PRIZES ETC BUT WE SHALL STILL SOLDIER ON!

 

IT HAS BEEN REPORTED ON THE BUG ZAPPER BUT IM NOT HOLDING MY BREATH IT WILL BE RESOLVED IN A HURRY AS ITS LIKE ISSUE 138 ON THE LIST!

§  THEME – Double Dilution Cream (Perlino’s/Cremello’s/Smoky Cream’s) -  any horse breed/shape/size/gender as long as it is Perlino/Cremello/Smoky Cream in colour (Roans/Solids/All coat patterns accepted)

The winner shall receive the prize of EVD $50k and will join the previous 2 winners of 2018 in contention for the $1mil EVD prize HOY event to be held in Jan 2019.

 

The Vague Effort one –

 

July’s Raise A Rescue Contest (Duration 2^nd July to 29^th July 2018)

Sign ups must be in by 30^th June 2018 by Midnight EV time

 

In Brief – Choose a rescue horse from the provided list on the Contest page & stuff it full of treats/show/riding school it to gain the most stats / points / show winnings / total rosettes to win some free stuff (including Credits!).  There will be 4 chances to win a prize ;D

 

This is going to be a site wide contest (hopefully) but you can only win the EVC part of the prize if you are a club member. The EVD will still be paid out even to non-members however.

Hello & Welcome to 

 EV Jump! Guild

After a unexpected absence due to a serious of personal setbacks I am back. And I have decided to get the Show Jumping club up and running again. To which end all members of the club will be receiving a cash gift for their patience in sticking with the club during the last few years.

To business - I have tweaked the registry requirements for horses as follows so enter those pixels!

New Registry
Grade - Novice 1 (same)
Stats - 250 min (same)
Confo - 52 (down from 58)
Discipline- Show Jumping (same)

but for some strange reason I don't see him as an option when I click on "register" drop down....

oh, I know... his confo is 54 and you advertise in your last post that requirement went down from 58 to 52, but it is actually set at 55... that''s why...

June Mascot Contest

Now this next bit will require a little more effort but hey, there is a chance to win free credits & credit items folks so if that's not an incentive to join in I dunno what is!
