Using Freeze Greys

#159518 Posted on 2018-03-15 06:52:47

I grabbed as many as I could to use on my Arabians, with the intention of freezing some to add a bit more visual variety to a breed that only comes in three colors.

I think that these two are my favorites so far:

chestnut homozygous sabino

bay rabicano

Has anyone else used Freeze Greys on their horses? What are you favorite results?

Ooh nice! I used one on a Pelino GV mare, and it looks cool cause she’s got just a touch of that gray to her! I’ll link her in a sec...

edit: here she is!

I haven't used them yet, buuuuuuut I bought some for cause of death and racing cup

I plan to freeze then both @ 8 yo; also still trying to get my hands on more freeze grays for a few other horses I have. I used the custom horse creator to decide when I wanted to freeze them (dying for them to be 8).

@Midnight Outlaw that does look super cool! she's just barely a shade lighter than a non-grey perlino.

@Aglet I really that shade of grey on the tobiano - it almost looks palomino. I laso hadn't ever considered using it on a horse that's sooty like your teke. i had to use the custom horse creator to picture it and i love it!

lolz, I love the sooty on tekes; also I love the dynamic gray (thxs Abbey ♥), and that rosybrown color that chestnuts get when they are 8 is my favorite thing ever.

but I also love the way winter rose looks (it makes me wanna breed gray arabians ;-; but I have soooooooo many breeds already)

I bought a small group of arabs just for the sole purpose of playing with the freeze grey!.. Looking forward to freezing a few of them between 5-8 yrs.. Also have some Morgans I may use it on..
