8 entries in total! Pretty good lol

Good day my fellow appy lovers!! Just wanted to post a little update for everyone.
First off, we have a total of 8 entries for the 'raise a foundation contest, which is awesome!!
I compiled all the entries into one entry in our club forum..If you want to follow the entries' progression, simply go back in this club forum to entry #25453 ( its on the 2nd page right now lol

1. Breeding Contest.
I'm going to be posting a genetic profile and the contest will involve trying to breed a horse as close to that genetic profile as possible. I just ironing out the details...but it should be starting in the net day or so. Stay tuned!!

2. LOVE IS IN THE AIR CONTEST:
I working out the details for a mare contest in which all members can choose their favorite mare for a chance to win a breeding to my top stallion INCIDIOUS

Breeding contest:
Ok peeps, here's how this works..I will post a genetic profile below and the goal of the game is to breed an Appaloosa as close to that genetic profile as possible. The person who breeds a horse closest to that profile, will win 100K!! Ya, its gonna be a bit complicated but if I made it too easy, well..wouldn't be as fun! lolz...
Heeeere we go: Try to breed a foal as close to this genetic profile as you can:

The Rules:
You can try as many times as you wish.
There will however , be only ONE winner.
The entries' must have their genetic profile revealed.
Please provide a link to the entries here in our club feed
contest will end Sunday April 14th at noon Ev time!
Once bred, you can do what you wish with the foal. I will buy select foals for stats x 100, depending on how much room I have.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR CONTEST

My boy is looking for love and he wants to see your girls. Show us your favorite mare and you could win a free breeding to my stud, INCIDIOUS, already at 1002 stats.

There will be 2 categories:
foundation mares
lined mares

One winner will be selected from each category and the 2 winners
will each receive a free breeding for their winning mare to INCIDIOUS

RULES

ONE entry per player. You can choose EITHER lined mare OR a foundation mare.
Horses must be registered with the ApHC
Genetics must be revealed.
Members will then vote for their favorite in EACH category. 2 votes per member. One for their favorite foundation and one for favorite lined mare.
In the event of a tie, I will select a winner based on the overall judging criteria.
( I will compile all the entries into 2 separate forum entries here in the club forum
so it will be easier to find the entries in both categories and voting can be done by clicking 'like" under your choice of 1 lined mare AND 1 foundation mare)

JUDGING CRITERIA

beauty (includes genetics, coat colour/pattern(s)
conformation
points
pedigree(lined mares)

Entries will be received until April 12th. Votes will be tallied on April 15th and the winners ( 1 foundation mare and 1 lined mare) will be posted!

the mate i made for my foundation competition horse is 11 points ahead of her in stats D:
i knew this would happen :|


also, is there an age limit on the love is in the air contest?
bc i have lots of appie mares, but none that are even close to breeding age :(

Nope, no age limit...He has enough stats that the foal born will have decent stats even if the mare is a young foundation. :o)

Breeding contest and Love is in the air contest both ON HOLD due to lack of interest...will start them up if/when more interest is shown.

as soon as more interest is shown, we'll restart the previous contests.....a couple more weeks and we'll do our first check in on the 'raise a foundation' horses..

We'll be checking in on the progress of our 8 entries on May 1st...and see how they're doing!
