1x1 with Ducky

Claro
"Aaauuugggghhhh! Dogs sound scary scary scary!!!" He screamed, terrified at the thought of being ripped to pieces.

Dancer

"Alright boy, lets go this way. We can hide in that cave." She pushed Fire forward, nuzzling him gently, making sure that he would stay in front of her, in her sight from now on.

Fire

Fire pricked his ears. "I want to meet a dog!" He whinnied loudly so they would find him. He walked into the dark cave and then lay down. It was pretty dirty.

Storm

"Gracia, dogs are well cool.

Claro
"Okay Storm, but wha wha what if they find me?" He quivered.

Dancer

Dancer went to the back of the cave as he barking came nearer. She nuzzled Fire. "Stay back and be quiet. They will pass." She hissed and pawed the ground. If they came in...

Fire

Fire didn't listen he whinnied louder and the barking filled his ears. His tiny nostrils flared and he did the same as his mom, pawing the ground."

Storm

"Don't worry Claro. I'm sorry." He said and then went over to Gracia. "Ummm, grass is pretty weak. Try and hit the tree and make the bark fall off. I-" Storm stopped when he heard barking. "The dogs!" He said and then reared up. He didn't looke very scary as he was tiny, but quite big for 11 months old.

Claro
"Ahahahahah! Agh Agh Agh Agh Agh!!! Dogs dogs dogs dogs agh! Dogs dogs dogs dogs dogs! Agh!" He screamed as loud as he could.

Gracia
"Ooh, dogs dogs dogs! I get to meet dogs!"

Aleta
"Claro! Dogs are nothing to be afraid of. Just like fish aren't anything to be afraid of. I'll take care of them," she said.

Dancer

Dancer held her breath. "Fire shut-" She stopped as dogs crowded the cave. She reared up and snapped at them. She pushed Fire away, and kicked out at the dogs. One by one, they fell to the ground. The last obe fell. "Fire, come on!" She shouted and shot off out the cave. The humans had turned round their horses, and were now following them.

Fire

Fire whinnied and sniffed the dogs, before running out the cave. There was a human right next to him. This sounded silly, but the only logical thing to do was dive under the horse. He dived under its belly and followed his mom.

Storm

Storm whinnied loudly and stood next to Claro. "Yeah, dogs!" He shouted and then nuzzled Claro, watching him. After a while, he still heard them, but it sounded as if some of them had gone. He snorted and waited.

Aleta
Hm, I wonder where they came from. thought Aleta.

Claro
"Be careful mommy!" He cried after his mother.

Gracia
"Rats, I wanted to fight the dogs. Well, I'll try to kick the tree now!" She kicked with all her might. The tree shook right into her face, and she fell to the ground. No bark had fallen off the tree. "This tree must be.... broken! Yeah, the tree is broken. I'll try this one." She kicked at the tree. The only result, was she fell on the ground again and the tree's bark stayed on. "Ugh, this tree must be broken too." She tried every tree she could find, and none of them's bark fell off. "All of mama's trees are BROKEN!" She yelled, not considering that maybe she just wasn't strong enough.

Dancer

Dancer carried on galloping, and watched her own foal run past her. I

Aleta
Aleta looked around, trying to see were the dogs had come from. The dogs saw her, and started barking again, and again. She reared up high, way over the dogs heads. She snorted loudly, trying to frighten the dogs away, without having to fight them. It clearly didn't work, the dogs didn't seem frightened at all by her. She came down, close to the dogs. These dogs are quite brave. She thought, glancing back to her foals, in hope they would not try to fight them and get hurt. "Don't fight the dogs, little ones!" She shouted to them.

Dancer

Dancer carried on, through the forest and came to a clearing. She skidded to a halt as she saw a some other horses. And dogs. She reared up, her chesnut tail flicking back and forth as she watched. She stood in front of Fire, who was watching with wide eyes.

Fire

"Ohhh mummy can we say hello? Look, there's a black foal! They always look scary." Fire whinnied and tossed his mane wanting to say hello.

Storm

Storm pricked his ears and looked to the left, where he saw a chestnut ,are with a bay foal. He could just make out the words that they were saying. "Mum, I want to say hello." He said, but stood by Gracia and Claro, protecting them best he could from the dogs.

Aleta
"Hmm. I wonder where they could have come from." She glanced around, and saw something. It seemed to be a settlement of some sort. "Ah, I see now." She said, realizing what it was. She had seen a few humans before, but never seen such a settlement before. She was naturally curious, but also cautious around them. She glanced back at her foals, and saw them goofing around.

Dancer

Dancer stood calmly, hearing the other foals scream, but Fire was having none of it. She watched her foal prance along, looking more like a strong thoroughbred, then a small foal.

Fire

Fire had never heard anyone scream before. He tossed his mane and did a small rear. After all, he was a foal. He bucked several times, but stayed a little way back.


Storm

"I'm sure we will become just like mama! Strong, and brave!" Storm said and looked over at Claro. "Hey, Claro calm down. I don't think they will hurt you. If they do, I will fight them off!" Storm was determined to sound scary, but failed.

Claro

Fire

Fire was still bucking profusely when he stopped to listen to the foals. He was confused. "We are not hunters, are we mama?" Fire asked.

Dancer

Dancer sighed. "No, we are normal horses, so just stay back ok?" Dancer said, and looked up the hill. There was a farm there. "Come with me." Dancer said to Fire, and started to trot up the hill, hoping it would calm the other foals.

Storm

"Gracia is right. They are not hunters. Mama can we follow them?" Storm asked, while standing by Claro protectively.

Aleta
"Well, I'm not totally sure," she said cautiously watching the other horses. "Uh, well, okay. But stay behind me and if I say 'run' then run as fast as you can after me. Okay?"

Claro
"Mama, I'm not too sure about this. Are you sure it's safe?" He asked, nervously.

Gracia
"Of course its safe! Don't be scared. Mama knows what she's doing and so do I. Right Storm?"
