Jade
A howl split the air again. "Okay, not a hallucination." She stepped through the forest carefully, eyes peeled. A beautiful sound reached her ears - water. Sending her senses out, she found that an underwater stream was flowing under her feet. She grinned, her teeth chattering, and pressed on. With water nearby, she felt instantly more confident. Glowing eyes blinked at her, and Jade jerked to a stop. She had been staring at them for a little while now, but they hadn't registered. Jade ground to a halt, her hand going to her sword. She drew it, but it shook and quivered like her whole body. She sheathed it with a sigh, mildly tilting her head as a large breast burst from the shadows. "Hello." The ground erupted, water blasting the creature midstride.

Alex clenched his teeth as he heard the first halfwolf attack, hearing how it went for Jade. He was glad to see that the thought's owner had received his warning, but whether they had acted on it or not was a mystery to him. He nodded at a grey mutt (who was easily as tall as his shoulders on all fours) as she tore past him to get to the clearing.

Eudora
Eudora ran towards where Khalen was. She knew something was up, and she wanted to know that she was okay. She came uo beside her and stopped, just standing there.

Jade
The creature, fur soaking wet and weighing it down, scrambled out of the spray only to find it followed it. Jade stepped forward, drawing her sword, and swung it clumsily. The creature dissolved on impact. Shivering, Jade let the water fall back underground and looked around once more. Not seeing anymore eyes peering at her, she sat under a tree, blowing on her hands. And then she slipped into a vision.

Noah
He had gone back to the tree. Hecate had called him, and he was eager to learn more. He sat again, and nodded. Visions? I can give people visions? "Yes. Who would you like to send a 'message' to? There's different kinds of visions as well, as you know." Noah thought a moment. Jade. "Okay. Go ahead and try."

Jade
She was standing in the woods, and she wasn't sure if it was at camp or where she was currently. Suddenly, Noah appeared, and she suppressed her urge to run. "H-hi, Noah," she stammered. He grinned at her. "Hi. How's the quest?" Jade shrugged. "Its good." She wanted to wake up. "Oh, that's good. I just had a little message for you." "Wh-what might that b-be?" Jade had never been one to stammer, but Noah obviously made her nervous. Noah stepped forward and wrapped her in a hug. Jade tensed, and he clucked his tongue. "You're so very cold," he whispered in her ear. "All it will take for you to warm up is for your cold heart to thaw for me. All it will take, Jade, is love. Your love. For me." He released her, but only took a small step back. He tilted his head. "So, what now, Jade?" Somehow he made it sound like an order. Her heart felt like it was being torn in two as she stood on her tip toes and kissed him. He hummed and pulled her closer, and the vision faded. Jade opened her eyes with a deep breath. "Noah," she growled, but the cold came sweeping back before she finished. Her terrible shivering kicked back in.

Alex
Alex cursed, going to draw his machete and get right into those monsters, when he heard a name a froze. "Noah." He snarled in response, shoving his blade back in it's sheath angrily and stepping back into the shadows, shuddering as he travelled away.

Kahlen
Kahlen jumped as she heard someone next to her. Her locket turned into a sword before she stopped herself. She heard wolves howling, seeming to head toward the camp. She sprinted in that direction, her locket now in bow form. Kahlen felt comfortable with long range weapons; it was an Apollo thing.

He was still sitting in the tree, but he had been laughing for five minutes straight. Wiping tears of mirth from his eyes, he chuckled. "Oh, Jade, Jade, Jade," he said. "I already own you." He gave a short bark of laughter. She was obviously terrified of him, but her fear led her to obedience, which was a step to love. He had concentrated hard, weaving the cold spell so that the only way it would fade was if she fell in love with him. He laughed again.

She spotted Kahlen coming into the clearing at the same time she did. She walked her direction. "They are some form of wolf monster," she said, trying to keep her teeth from chattering and her body from shivering. She was pretty sure it was failing, but the least she could do was try to make it look like she wasn't cold. Of course, Jade didn't know her lips were blue.

She shrugged. "Right after I fought one off, Noah appeared to me in a vision. Not sure if it's connected." That annoying shudder of fear snuck in among her shivers.

"I guess Noah can do magic, because he did some. I'm going to be freezing cold until I fall in love with him or something." She said it as casually as she could and shrugged.
