1x1 with Midnight Outlaw

She sat on a bale of hay and started drawing on a piece of paper

his phone rang. he answered it. as soon as he heard the voice on the other end he went swiftly to his truck to finish the call.

Finishing the drawing she left on the hay bales. She then led midnight out for a trail ride

he walked back into the barn after hanging up, his brow furrowed and eyes worried. He saddled up Secret and headed out for a ride. he needed time to think. he let the stallion find his way, paying no attention to his surroundings.

She clicked midnight into trot and stayed in the trail. Coming to a ridge she stopped and looked at the valley

Secret decided an old, overgrown path that led down into the valley was the best one to take. "bro, really?!?" Billy exclaimed, snapping out of his thoughts to hold a hand up to shield his face from the branches. "of all the trails you have to take this one?!" he demanded of the regal blue roan stallion. Secret swished his tail happily and continued plowing through the brush. Billy had let him choose, so he was going where he wanted! "People across the world are gonna hear us" Billy complained as they crashed through the brush.

Ally heard something and so did midnight. With out cue midnight went into a canter and followed the noise

Secret saw the end and moved into a lope, crashing through the brush. “Good grief!! I’m never letting you choose the way again!” Billy exclaimed as he ducked the branches that came flying at him. They erupted out of the bushes at a full gallop.

Ally urged midnight into a gallop and followed the sound of pounding hooves.

Secret flew across the valley, hooves digging in with each stride. Billy held the reins loose with one hand and his cowboy hat on his head with the other as Secret flew toward the creek that ran across the valley, leaping over it as he reached it.

Ally saw Secret and the rider. Following after them she hoped to get them to stop

He heard muffled hoof beats over the pounding of Secret’s and shot a quick glance back. He saw the girl, Ally, and her stallion Midnight. He reined in Secret, pulling him to a smooth sliding stop, and waited for the girl.

She pulled midnight to a stop. "Are you ok"she said 

“Yah. Secret just decided the best path to take was some old, overgrown one that way I got slapped by branches.” He said with a rather sheepish grin, as he shot a grumpy look at the stallion. Secret swished his tail happily. 

she laughed a little "Well I guess the tough the guy needs some loven from his horses now"She said
