This suggestion has been marked as "Added To The Game". Thank you, Siren, for the suggestion and to those of you who supported for making Equiverse better!

I was just browsing around my horse's pages, preparing some mares for breeding when I couldn't for the life of me figure out how the heck to breed my mare. There was NO button whatsoever. I check the FAQ and saw nothing about it so I thought it was a bug. I then checked on one of my stallion's pages and saw the "breed a mare to this stallion" link.
My suggestion is, it would be really nice to have this same button on mare pages, saying "breed a stallion to this mare". I don't always click on stallions first, so it would be annoying to only have the option to go to the stallion's page to breed. I know we used to be able to breed straight from mare pages, and I liked that option.

My second suggestion being, it would be great if we can put mares up for brood. I noticed on mare pages it says "View breeding requests", but yet we can't put them up for brood. Perhaps brooding will be implemented and I just overlooked something? I think this might have been suggested way back when, but I figured I'd throw this idea in as well

In conclusion, our lady pons need more options!! Don't let all them boys get all the fancy options!! hahaha XD

Broodmares have already been suggested. Please try to check if something has already been suggested :)

We don't know how it would work, as the foal would end up on the account of whoever owns the mare... and if you happen to breed your stallion to someone else's mare, then you're out the brood fee and the foal (foals remain with their dams for a period of time as well), unless we can figure out a way to bypass that.

I did a quick check and couldn't find anything on brood mares. And I know I suggested brood mares way back when on the old EV.. so, I figured I would revive my old suggestion on the new EV since forums were cleared ^^

Perhaps it could be implemented that the user that requests the breeding receives the foal.
I didn't know foals had to stay with their mothers for a period of time o: This complicates things XD

From what I have heard, and you probably already know, is that you have to be on level seven to greenhouse horses, which in my opinion really sucks.... But I like your suggestions.

I am past level seven. But I don't really now what "greenhouse" means. Care to elaborate? :)

@Siren - I can add back the link to breed to your own stallions or search for a stud from the mare's page, but I won't add brood mares at least until a decent idea on how to handle the ownership of the foal comes about :)

Excuse me if I sound stupid as it's 4 am (had to wake up and do hw), but is their anyway you code code it to recognize which account it should go to, i,e whoever sent in the request to breed?

Whoop whoop, thanks Abbey!

I look forward to hearing more things from players about broodmare ideas :D

And Zest, I agree. That is what I was thinking how it could work. Or maybe there would be an option when you're about to send a breeding request that says "Who will the foal be sent to?" And you choose either your name or the person that owns the mare. Then the broodmare's owner would get a notification about the breeding, as well as who the foal will be sent to, so that both parties know what's going on with the offspring.

You could maybe do completely identical twins? So each person gets a horse? But maybe only do it for Broodmares, not breeding between Stallions and Mares you own.

I couldn't see that working out so well. What if only one person wants a foal? That would just make for deleting a lot of unwanted foals.

Maybe working off your idea Zest/Siren, but mainly Sirens extension. Where the person breeding stallion to the mare gets to pick who gets it, but the owner of the broodmare gets the final say. That way, once again, there isn't an unwanted foal/someone punking the broodmare owner with to many foals (if several broodmares) or low Stat stallion (in the case of a prearranged stallion selection.

That sounds like a good idea. Almost like a private stud, where you can approve what mare breeds him. But it will be if the broodmare's owner approves to who receives the foal

About the foal ownership, I think the foal should belong to the sire owner. As long as the new born foals don´t need to be with their moms (I´m talking about Equiverse) and can be sold inmediately after their birth I don´t see any problem sending the new born foal directly to the stallion owner. The price of the broodmare services should be paid at the moment of the covering.
