Carter

Carter smiled, "You're welcome." He took the presents and began to open them one by one. The first box revealed a pair of matching pajamas. The smile on Carter's face grew wider at the idea of matching with Morgan. "We can be twinsies now," he joked, setting the box and pajamas aside. He picked up the smaller box and unraveled the bow that was tied around it and ripped the paper from it. He opened the lid to reveal a watch. He looked up at Morgan with the smile still lighting his face. "It's perfect, babe." He took the watch from the watch and placed it on his wrist, admiring it for a moment longer. Another present was handed to him and Carter took it, opening it up to reveal a Yeti cup and a gift card. "Ooo, I know where we're going later," he said excitedly while holding up the gift card. He watched Simon open all of his gifts next, sipping on his coffee that was now waking him up. "Morgan is next," he spoke when Simon finished opening all of his presents. He picked up the first box and handed it over to her, watching her reaction when she opened it to see a new brown leather purse. Carter handed another box her way, this one containing a new jacket and some boots. The final box he handed her was smaller and wrapped in a gold bow. Inside the box was a heart shaped necklace with ruby in the center of it. He leaned in placing a kiss on Morgan's lips and turned to watch Addy open her presents.

Simon 

Simon watched as Carter opened his presents first while he sipped on the warm coffee. He let out a yawn and leaned back on the couch, setting the cup back on the table in front of him.  When it was declared that it was his turn to open presents, Simon leaned down and picked up the first box. Inside he found a new notebook and stationary things for his office. He opened the next box revealing cologne and a matching set of pajamas. "We get to be twinsies too," he exclaimed, with a smile on his face, laughing at himself. The next box contained flannels and Simon smiled, happy to have more of his favorite clothing item. He set the box and the contents aside and picked up the final box. He slowly opened it and revealed the tickets to the Journalism expo he had mentioned. "Ads, I love it," he looked up to Addy and leaned forward to place a kiss on her lips. After his presents were opened, Morgan opened hers. Buffy came bounding back in the house, wet and cold from playing in the snow. She wagged her tail happily, placing her head in Simon's lap, getting his shorts all wet. "Oh Buffy," he whined, pushing the canine off of him, "Now I'm all wet and cold." He patted her head and she walked off and laid in the dog bed in the bedroom. He shook his head at Buffy and looked down at his now wet pets. "It's your turn Addy, open your presents," he spoke happily. He watched as she opened her presents, the first one being a black long sleeve shirt with a gold foil horse head on it. In the next box there was a new pair of riding boots. "Now the last box isn't really for you..." In the last box was a saddle pad and some polo wraps along with horse treats for Ransom. 

Morgan

Opening her presents and smiling at the new brown leather purse and then the new jacket and boots. Grinning at the ruby heart necklace Carter handed her. “Thanks babe.” Kissing Carter and then turning her attention to Addy who was the last one to open her gifts. Morgan smiling as Addy opened her presents that they gave her. “Well I’m going to go attempt to make some waffles and sausage.” Standing up from her position and making her way into the kitchen to start on breakfast for them. Turning on the waffle iron and the stove on to heat up. Morgan then beginning to set out the ingredients to make the waffles. After a short while of being in the kitchen with flour in her hair and batter smeared on her cheek and nose as she whisked the bowl with the waffle mix in it. Slamming the cabinet in frustration as she was managing the sausage in the pan and the waffles in the pan. “Please don’t do that.” Talking to herself and anger flashing in her blue eyes since she wasn’t getting the waffles done correctly. Ryker heading after Morgan and sitting down near the iron pan. Barking as the batter ran  off onto the counter and towards him. Jumping against the cabinet and licking it quickly to prevent any further mess from happening. “No one help me....at all if anyone comes in I’m banishing you outside in the snow.” Hearing Addy’s words and then rolling her blue eyes trying to prove to Carter that deep down she could cook.

Addy

Opening all of her presents and then kissing Simon on the lips in thanks for the presents. Shaking her head as Morgan sprang up insisting  to cook breakfast. “We might want to keep the hazmat team on call.” Laughing and catching the pillow Morgan threw at her. Setting it back down and the. Making her way to the table with her coffee cup. “Honestly it all still feels so surreal that I’m gunna be a Crimm finally.... Carter you should really plan on asking a certain someone.” Winking and then taking a sip of her coffee and hearing the cabinet slam harshly. “Morgan....can I help you at all?” Tensing  at Morgan’s words and then flashing her hazel eyes to Carter “See she’s already trying to be the perfect housewife..” Shaking her head as the smoke alarm began to squeal from above. Tensing at the high squeal and covering her ears “Seriously Morgan please don’t burn the house down” Addy finally letting go of her ears as the fire alarm cut off. Gemni giving a sharp bark at the door and entering in with snow cling to her fur. Racing back to the bedroom and springing onto the bed to lay down.

Carter

Carter finished off his cup of coffee and walked into the kitchen to pour another cup for himself. Pearl came inside the house, stopping at the front door and shaking her coat of the cold snow that clung to her. She circled Carter's legs and sat in front of where he stood leaning against the counter, watching him with her soft brown eyes. "Are you hungry," he questioned, more of a statement to the canine, reaching a hand down and patting her head. He put his coffee down on the counter and turned, opening the cabinet that stored the dog food. He scooped out food, filling each bowl with it. Picking up his coffee, he walked back to the living room and sat on the couch, Minnie climbing in his lap and requesting to be pet. He listened to Morgan in the kitchen, cringing when she slammed the cabinet shut. "Love, are you sure you don't want me to help," he called to Morgan, setting his coffee on the table in front of him and causing Minnie to get off of his lap. He looked at Addy with worry in his eyes. "She can be a perfect wife by not burning down our house," he said with a small laugh before standing up and heading into the kitchen. He was going to take his chances being out in the snow if it meant the house would still be standing later. Carter covered his ears at the sound of the fire alarm going off, turning on the vent to draw away the smoke that was surrounding the kitchen. 

Simon

Simon smiled, happy that everyone enjoyed their presents before hopping up and going into the bedroom. He walked into the closet, changing out of his wet clothes and put on pair of jeans and one of the new flannels. He walked back into the living room just as the fire alarm went off, covering his ears from the alarming scream that came from it. "I agree, please don't burn the house down Morgan," he spoke, uncovering his ears that were still ringing. Simon took his empty cup of coffee and placed it in the sink, backing away from Morgan. He poured that cats their food, drawing them out of their hiding places. Simon walked back into the living room to safety and clicked the tv on, flipping through the channels before landing on one play Elf. Pepper curled himself on the couch next to Simon, Simon pet the canine while absorbing himself into the movie while he waited for breakfast, hopefully not burnt or inedible. 

Morgan

Waffle mix batter splattered on her cheek and nose and a bit in her hair somehow. Morgan flinching at the sound of the fire alarm echoing and shaking her head at everyone’s statement. “I have it all under control....just give me a chance.” Blue eyes burning into Carter’s and shaking her head as he entered to turn on the vent. “Please....get out...” pressing her fingers to his back and trying to lead him out of the kitchen. “I know your trying to help but, sometimes you just gotta leave me to swim a little bit longer. Now in all seriousness you gotta leave goober.” Planting a quick half kiss to his cheek and continuing to push him out of the kitchen. Making sure no one else entered into the kitchen and then focusing back on the waffles. Taking the waffles out of the iron and putting them on a plate quickly. Making a growl come from her throat at the pitch of the waffle iron beeping off, signaling a burnt waffle. “Why.....can’t I just be good at this... I’m good at everything else.” Half muttering it aloud to herself and gripping the counter with her hand harshly and letting out a groan. Finally Morgan finishing the waffle batch with a couple waffles for each person a variety of them on the plate stacked. From burnt, and misshaped ones and normal ones. Turning everything off and bringing the plate to the dining room to set it it down. “Well here’s my attempt at making food.” Giving a slight laugh and then sitting in the seat, her blue eyes glancing around the table to see who would try a waffle from her first. Taking a hand to her face nervously and biting the ends of her nails as Addy picked up two oddly shaped waffles slightly burnt onto her plate . Still nervously biting her nails and then stopping before looking at Addy with curiosity filling her blue eyes “Please tell me there okay and your not going to die from them.” Giving a nervous laugh and fidgeting  in her seat when Addy began to eat the waffle. Hearing Addy’s comment about the waffles and then glancing around the rest of the table at the boys. Waiting for there comments about her attempts at breakfast. Ryker following after Carter as he walked to the dog bowls filling them up. Giving a sharp bark and beginning to eat his breakfast in his bowl hungrily.

Addy

Addy taking a laugh at Carter’s comment and genuine concern for her. “Well just let her fix them...if there inedible we can always go iHOP and get pancakes.” Sitting down on the other end of the couch beside Pepper and drinking her coffee slowly. Cringing at the sound of the fire alarm and covering her ears waiting for the loud noise to go off. Inhaling a steady breath as it stopped and then casting her hazel-green eyes to Simon at the comment he made to Morgan about not burning the house down. “Boys just give her a chance....to prove herself..... normally things come naturally to her and this just isn’t one of her things.” Shaking her head and setting the coffee cup on the table as she finished it. Cringing again as another cabinet door was slammed shut and a loud  scream half growl was heard from the kitchen. Hazel-green eyes widening as she stood up making her way to the kitchen. Staring with her eyes in concern for Morgan “Come on that’s enough for all of us to eat.” Helping her turn off everything and making her way to the table. Waiting for everyone to be seated and then snatching two waffles onto her plate to taste test. Rubbing the butter and syrup on them. Then taking a bite of her waffles and nodding “There good Morgan...they have some batter not all the way cooked but, still it’s food and I’m gunna complain.” Setting her fork down and looking at the boys to see there reaction. Gemini following after Carter and beginning to eat her bowl of food. Halfway eating it and then pricking her ears at the loud alarm before bolting out of the room nervously and under Simon’s and Addy’s bed for safety. Whining from the loud alarm and shaking under the bed scooting all the way under it from fear of the loud alarm.

Carter

Carter felt hands pushing him away as he was shoved out of the kitchen. "I'm only making sure you don't destroy the house," he teased. He walked down the hallway and into the bedroom, deciding to go ahead and change into warmer clothes. He picked out a pair of dark jeans and paired it with a cream colored wool sweater. He sat at the edge of the bed and laced up his snow boots and put on his gloves and beanie. Carter walked back in the closet and grabbed his thick, green jacket and slipped it on. "Pearl, Pepper," he called out to the canines. Pearl came bounding into the bedroom with Pepper trotting closely behind her. "Who wants to go play in the snow?" The two canines wagged their tails, Pearl turning in circles and giving an excited bark. Carter smiled, patting her head and walking to the front door and outside. The cold hit his face and instantly surrounded him as he admired the snow that was slowly falling from the sky. He reached a hand out and caught a snowflake on his glove, watching it sit there and melt away. Carter jumped off the porch and ran into the snow, cupping a handful in his hand to create a snowball. "Pearl," he got the attention of the canine running around the yard. He threw the snowball in the air and watched as Pearl raced forward and hit it with her nose, causing it to shatter away and fall to the ground. Carter laughed as he created another and watched her do the same thing. After a few more minutes of play, Carter decided it was time to go back in and warm up from the cold wet snow that covered him. He called the dogs back into the house, both of them running back to the bedroom and jumping on the bed, shaking the snow off of their coats when they did. Carter removed his hat and gloves, shaking off his jacket and hanging it up by the door. He removed his boots and walked into the kitchen where everyone was now at and Morgan had finally finished at her attempt at breakfast. "Well you didn't burn all of them," he encouraged, walking over to the table to sit down. "And I think with some more practice, you'll be a pro at waffle making." He gave Morgan a smile, picking up the knife and spreading butter over his waffles. He drizzled the syrup over his waffles and picked up his fork to taste them. He had managed to pick up one of the waffles that was done almost near perfect. "I'm definitely not complaining," Carter added to Addy's words, "Plus it's the thought that counts." 

Simon

Simon shifted when Pepper got off the couch and went to Carter when he was called. "I mean iHop does sound nice," he spoke, looking over at Addy with a smile. He turned his attention to Carter for a moment as he went outside into the snow with the dogs. Mickey walked into the living room, meowing for attention, rubbing his body against the couch before jumping up where Pepper was. Simon stroked the cat, causing Mickey to purr in content. "Sometimes I forget how many animals we have," Simon spoke suddenly as the thought popped in his head at the number of animals they had collectively. The movie finished just as Morgan had finished cooking. Simon got off the couch, Mickey waking up from the movement and jumping off the couch and running into the bedroom, finding a toy and playing it with it. Simon walked into the kitchen, sitting himself at the table and inspecting the waffles. They by far didn't look perfect, but not much better than what Simon would have done if he were the one to have cooked them. He grabbed up two of them and put them on his plate, both of them more on the burnt side. He smeared the butter over them and covered them in syrup before picking up his fork and taking a bite. "Not going to lie, even the burnt ones aren't that bad." Simon took another bite of the waffles and grabbed for some sausage and adding them to his plate. "Really not bad Morgan." He took a bite of his sausage, approving of the breakfast although not the best. "So what are we planning to do today," he questioned.

Morgan

Smiling at everyone’s approval and then snatching two waffles onto her plate with the sausage. Smearing the butter and syrup on the waffles and then beginning to eat her slightly burnt ones. Chewing the waffles and then swallowing them rather quickly. “Well we could call our family and see who wants to come over later....or we can just stay inside and watch hallmark movies all day....” grinning at the hallmark movie idea and Addy nodding along with her idea. “Plus cuddling the dogs and the men in our lives doesn’t sound that bad.” Smiling towards Carter and finishing the rest of the waffles and sausage on her plate. Taking a sip of her hot coffee and then looking towards Ryker who sat patiently beside the table begging for anything they had to offer. Rubbing his head behind his ear for a moment and then turning towards Carter with a smile lighting up her face. “Thanks for letting me swim today...even though I could’ve possibly drowned.” Shaking her head with a small smile and then blinking her blue eyes and looking around the table for any other idea plans. Morgan reaching with her hand under the table to grab Carter’s and giving it a light squeeze before drawing tiny circles on the inside of his palm.

Addy

Nodding at everyone’s comments about Morgan’s waffles and continuing to eat her’s. Taking a sip of her hot coffee and smiling at Morgan’s idea of staying in and watching hallmark movies while cuddling with the dogs and the men. “I can’t complain about cuddling with the dogs and cuddling with my fiancé.” Hazel green eyes shimmering with love and affection as she locked eyes with Simon and then back down to the diamond ring on her ring finger. Twisting it on her finger momentarily and then returning her attention back to everyone at the table. “I mean I sound pretty lame but, I do love my Crimm cuddles and kisses.” Blushing a shade of red and then picking up her plate and taking it into the kitchen to the sink to wash off and place in the dishwasher. Returning back to the dining room and then walking to the bedroom into the closet to pick out her outfit. Picking out yoga pants and continuing to shuffle through the jackets on Simon’s side. “Babe, can you come here please.” Calling for Simon and then frowning and shaking her head back and fourth from not finding the right jacket. Hazel-green eyes flashing innocently towards Simon “Where’s your university hoodie?” Fiddling her thumbs together and then stopping them and keeping her gaze on Simon. Gemini Giving a little whine from under the bed and thumping her tail against the wooden leg of the bed, still staying underneath it.

Carter

Carter smiled, continuing to eat his breakfast. He nodded along with the idea that the girls presented before Simon brought up his own idea. "You're on, bet I'll beat you," Carter laughed, making the bet. He turned to Morgan with a smile, wrapping his hand in hers as he felt tiny circles tickling his skin. He finished off his breakfast and got up from the table, placing the dirty dishes in the sink, rinsing them off and placing them in the dishwasher. "See you outside Simon," Carter called, walking to the front door and putting his boots back on. He shrugged on his still damp jacket and put on his gloves and hat before walking back outside. The snow had stopped falling, leaving behind a decent layer of it on the ground. Just enough for a good snowball fight. Carter walked out into the yard and began building a snow barrier he could hide behind. He looked up when Simon came outside. "It's not cheating, I'm just getting a head start," he laughed, making a snowball and pelting it at Simon, hitting him on the shoulder. Carter grinned, continuing to make his snow barrier. 

Simon

Simon ate his waffles and sausage, listening to the ideas the girls gave on what they should do today. "I think we should have a nice snowball fight," Simon offered, getting Carter's attention. "Bet you'll lose," Simon retorted to Carter's declaration that he would win. Simon took another bite of his breakfast and turned to Addy with a smile. "But afterwards, we can definitely cuddle." Simon finished off the rest of his food, taking his plate into kitchen and putting the dishes in the sink, letting Carter rinse them off and put them in the dishwasher. Hearing Addy call his name, he walked down the hall and to the bedroom, walking into the closet where Addy was. "What is it Ads," he asked. He smiled at her question. "I don't know, it might be out in my car. I'll go check." Simon pulled out his jacket and put it on, zipping it up and grabbed his boots. He sat at the edge of the bed, lacing them up and walked to the front door. Simon stepped out on the porch, seeing Carter already building a snow fort for himself. "Hey, that's cheating, you can't do that," Simon called out. He shook his head at Carter's response and turned to walk to his car in search of the hoodie. He felt a cold for hit his shoulder and turned around to see Carter grinning. "I'm going to get you back for that." Simon brushed the snow off his jacket and unlocked the car, searching all the seats and even the trunk for the jacket but it could not be found. He walked back inside. "I can't find it Ads, maybe it still needs to be washed."

Morgan

Nodding to Simon’s idea about the snowball fight and following to change into long pants and a jacket. Leaving the house and following after Carter. Beginning to roll the snow into balls and placing them into a pile beside her. “Looks like it’s team Beck versus team Crimm.” Morgan still Rolling balls and giggling as Carter threw one at Simon as he checked his car “Point Beck.” Smiling and high diving Carter before continuing to roll the balls of snow. Ryker coming out of the house and leaping through the snow pile with the snow sticking to his fur. Shaking it and then hopping behind the fort wall Carter and Morgan were working on and laid down behind it giving another sharp bark. Throwing a snowball at Addy as she exited and ducking behind the wall with a giggle. “Another point team Beck.” Smiling and rolling more balls to pass to Carter. 

Addy

Sighing as Simon told her that he couldn’t find the jacket. “Fine fine I’ll wear this for now.” Pulling on a long flannel shirt and fuzzy jacket she had before following Simon out to join the snowball fight. Getting pelted by a snowball and eyes glancing to the fort direction hearing Morgan’s giggle. Shaking her head and hiding behind the fort herself “Well Simon I’m just saying I don’t like losing so we’re winning...if we lose your sleeping on the couch tonight.” Hazel eyes flashing with seriousness to win the snowball fight. Rolling snowballs and throwing them at the fort where Morgan and Carter were. Gemini finally following out of the house and behind the fort that Addy and Simon were behind giving a bark and then biting the snowball pile eating at the snowballs. Addy shaking her head at Gemini’s antics and continuing to roll the snow balls faster.

Carter

Carter smiled, turning to Morgan and holding his hand up for a high five. "Good job babe," he spoke happily, grabbing up one of the snowballs that Morgan had made. "Well guys," Carter spoke, pausing for a moment as he looked between Addy and Simon from across the yard, "You're going down." He pelted the ball of snow in his hand, watching as Simon ducked just before it made contact with the side of his face. One after another Carter pelted snowballs across the yard. Sometime Buffy would jump and grab one of them, making it more difficult to hit either Simon or Addy. They began running low on snowballs and Carter was starting to get tired. "Ah, I'm not done yet, we're all tied up and we can't end a game like that," Carter responded to Simon's taunting words. Carter looked to Morgan, "Ready to win this?" He picked up one of the few snowballs left. He looked back at Morgan and them over at Addy and Simon. "Now." He pelted the snowball, sending it sailing across the yard aiming it directly at Simon. Just as the snowball spattered against Simon's jacket, two more came sailing at Carter, both hitting him. "Okay, fair is fair, you guys won, but we'll get you next time. Won't we babe?" He turned to Morgan, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "I think it's time to go inside anyway, I can't feel my fingers." Carter knocked some of the snow off his boots as he climbed the porch stairs. Once inside, he removed all the snow covered clothes and went to the bedroom, changing into a pair of warm sweatpants. "I'll make some hot chocolate while you guys pick a movie for us to watch," Carter called to the rest of the group as he walked into the kitchen and pulled out the hot chocolate mix and some mugs. 

Simon

Simon reached out for Addy, "I'm sorry Ads." He waited for Addy to get dressed and walked outside to join Morgan and Carter. "Then I guess I can't afford to lose," Simon replied with a wink. He bent down creating a quick fort barrier before helping Addy make a pile of snowballs, some of them eaten by Gemini. Simon laughed at the antics of the dog as he began pelting the snowballs across the yard. As Buffy helped dodge some of the snowballs being thrown there way, Simon laughed more. "Good job, Buffy," he called to the canine. She stopped and looked in Simon's direction with a wag of her tail before going back to playing in the snow. It came down to the last few snowballs and it looked as if Carter was starting to get tired. "Aww, you haven't given up yet have you Carter," Simon called from behind the fort as he ducked from a snowball passing over his head. Simon laughed and rolled up a couple more snowballs. He readied his aim and looked to Addy with determination to win. When he heard Carter yell now to Morgan, Simon released both snowballs he was holding and watched as one made contact with Carter as the other went right over him. He looked to Addy who had also managed to hit Carter and smiled. "We won, guess I'm not banished to the couch tonight after all."

Morgan

Already up and it being New Year’s Eve morning, cleaning around the house in preparation for all the visitors they would have tonight. With Addy up and helping Morgan clean around the house to make it presentable. Hair up and putting different things around the house away in a rush. “Addy can you ask Simon if he’ll go to the store with Carter and get the food and drinks on my list I made?” Calling loudly to Addy in the next room and beginning to put away the items in the kitchen. Ryker being instructed to place on his dog bed out of the way and gnawing in the bone he had in the bed. Morgan taking a pause and shutting the dishwasher to wash the dishes, walking towards where Carter was getting ready and peering in leaning against the doorframe. “I gotta question for you.....can you and Simon go to the store and get the food items on the list and the party decorations and everything else that’s listed?” Blue eyes blinking with happiness and entering into the bathroom and planting a kiss to his cheek and hugging him for a moment. “I love you so much....I know you hear it constantly from me...but I honestly do love you so much.” Planting another soft kiss to his cheek and leaning against him. “Plus you guys can get and pick up lunch somewhere because Addy and I are both too busy to fix lunch.” Staying in his embrace a little longer before moving away and continuing back to her cleaning to make the house presentable for everyone’s family coming over.

Addy

Cleaning the living room that Morgan had instructed her to clean when she got up this morning. Folding the blankets and putting them on the couch and sorting the pillows on the couch as well. Pausing to hear Morgan’s words “Yeah I can.” Stopping what she was doing and then walking to the shared bedroom with Simon and watching him still sleep. Sitting down on the edge of the bed near him and leaning down to press a kiss to his lips and then moving back. “Morning sleepy head.” Ruffling his bed hair with her hand playfully and sneaking in another kiss towards him. “Can...you....go...to....the...store....with...Carter?” Between the kisses and the words before ending with a long kiss to his lips and closing her hazel eyes. Leaning back and then half smiling towards Simon. “Morgan has a whole list we have to do around the house and she’s included you guys to go to the store to get groceries and supplies for the party this evening.” Laughing and heading the vacuum start in the living room. “I gotta go back and help.”
Planting another kiss on Simon’s lips and parting to the living room to continue cleaning it. Gemini giving a bark and laying down on her dog bed and staying quiet now.

Carter

Carter sat at the edge of the bed while lacing up his boots, preparing to go to the store and gather a few things that they would need for the party later this evening. It was going to be a full house and Carter was already feeling nervous. The thought of so many people being in the house on top of the idea that he was about to propose to Morgan in front of them had his heart beating at an unnaturally fast rate. Pearl gave a small whine, pushing her muzzle up into Carter's lap. Carter let out a sigh, finishing off the knot in his shoelaces. He brought a hand up to stroke Pearl's head, "Hey girl." He continued to pet Pearl then pushed himself off the bed. "Already one step ahead of you babe," he turned towards Morgan with a smile. He grabbed his phone and wallet off the table next to the bed and shoved them in his jacket pocket. Carter walked over to Morgan, placing a soft kiss to her lips as he grabbed the slip of paper from her hand with the list of things on it. He put the list in his pocket, feeling the small case he had already stuffed in there containing the ring. "I love you too," he spoke with a smile forming on his face, "More than anything." He saw Simon come out of his room, "Ready to go?" Getting a simple nod from Simon, Carter turned back to Morgan and placed another kiss to her lips. "Anything in particular you guys might want for lunch?" He began to back out of the room, heading for the front door to leave. 

Simon

Simon rolled over in bed, a sharp meow coming from Mickey before the feline plopped himself onto Simon's face. Simon moved, picking up the feline before he suffocated, opening his eyes slightly. "Well good morning to you too," he grumbled, turning over and closing his eyes again, wanting to sleep longer. Before he had the chance, he heard Addy come into the room. He grumbled out before turning back over to look at Addy. "Good morning," he spoke, sleep still in his voice. He smiled at the series of kisses, leaning up against the headboard and rubbing his eyes. "I suppose I can do that," he replied, leaning into the kiss. Before Simon said anything more, Addy was gone and he heard the vacuum start up. He moved the covers aside and rolled out of the bed, heading to the bathroom and taking a quick shower. He walked into the closet, throwing on a t-shirt and a grey flannel with some dark wash jeans. He pulled his thick jacket off the hanger and grabbed up his boots. There was snow from the previous day that hadn't melted away with the chance of more snow coming later on in the evening. Simon walked out of the room finally ready to go and nodded to Carter's question. "I'll drive." He began walking to the front door, grabbing up his keys and heading out the door to his car. 

Morgan

“I’m fine with anything babe....Um maybe pizza or subs or chicken salad.” Listing off some lunch items that sounded appealing to her and then continuing to vacuum the living room to get things in top condition. Once vacuuming the living room and then moving to the dog room and whistling loudly for the dogs. “Ryker,Buffy, Gemini, Pearl c’mon babies.” Calling for them so she could shut them in the room and contain the dog hair. Shutting the door and then beginning to clean Carter and her’s room making the bed and putting everything away that was out and a mess. Hearing Addy’s yell from the room and exiting the bedroom that she had cleaned and then joining her friend to help clean up Simon’s room she called from. Blue eyes wide with worry as she helped Addy clean the room. “Do you think Carter’s family will like me again...I mean last time I wanted to impress them all...I mean his parents love me but Kyle his younger brother is a different story I don’t think he likes me that much....what if I’m weird and stutter again....what if our moms talk wedding plans again....” worry creased on her forehead and sitting down on the newly made bed as she rubbed her temple with a sigh. “I just want everyone to like me...cause Carter loves me but if his family doesn’t then that makes me worry.” Squinting her eyes at Addy’s comment and then shaking her head sideways. “Maybe Carter isn’t the marrying type...even though he says he wants to marry me why hasn’t he proposed?” Morgan’s blue eyes widening at Addy’s snappy comment about it all. Nodding and then standing up to continue to make the house clean as can be.

Addy

Smiling and continuing to clean the kitchen before moving onto her and Simon’s room. “Morgan come here!” Calling for her friend to help her clean the room. Both girls cleaning her and Simon’s room before spotting Morgan sit down and list her worries about tonight and Carter. Shaking her head with a laugh “Morgan...sweetheart your overthinking things like I do...nothing is going to ruin tonight with the family....all it is is my family, Simon’s family and then your mom and Carter’s family here....everything will go smoothly.” Sitting down next to her friend and hugging her gently. “Morgan Elaine Blackwell! Carter is so madly in love with you and he does want to marry you...but it might not be now but I’ll hold off on getting married till we both have our double wedding together.” Hugging Morgan again before getting up and starting to clean the room again with a Morgan. Addy laughing at how clean they had to get it before the family came over. Giggling as alright started scrubbing the counter with an old tooth brush “Heaven forbid anyone think we actually live here.” Shaking her head and then continuing on her task assigned by Morgan.

Carter

Carter nodded at the list of ideas, keeping all of them in mind, "Okay, that works for me." He headed out the door behind Simon and climbed into the passenger seat of the car, letting out a heavy sigh. His blue eyes landed on Simon when he spoke, "I know, I know...there's just going to be a lot of people here tonight." The drive to the store didn't take as long as Carter had expected and despite it being New Year's Eve, it wasn't terrible to find a parking spot even though they still had quite a walk from where they parked to the store entrance. Carter pulled the slip of paper out of his pocket, scanning the list on it. "I think if we split up we can tackle this list faster." He let Simon take a picture of the list and they split away from each other, Carter heading to the freezer section. The basket in Carter's hands was beginning to feel heavy as he picked up the last few items. His phone notified of a text message and he pulled it out of his jacket pocket, checking it to see that it was Simon telling him he was done and that he was headed to checkout. Carter responded, putting the phone back in his pocket and making his way to the checkout area, spotting Simon among the crowd and joining him. "Did you get everything?" Carter placed the basket next to Simon's on the belt and let the cashier ring up all the items so he could pay for them. "I'm feeling sub sandwiches, how about you?" They loaded the groceries into the car and made their next stop to the local sub shop and ordered four foot long subs and headed home. 

Simon

Simon got into his car and started it up, turning to Carter when he got in. "Dude, you're going to have to chill out. Everything will go just fine," he tried to comfort his friend, reaching a hand over a placing it on his shoulder. He back out of the driveway, getting out of the neighborhood and on to the main road into town. One in the parking lot, the two made their way into the grocery store. "Yeah, that sounds like a great plan. Here I'll just take a picture of the list and get the bottom half of it while you get the top." Once agreed, Simon walked to the opposite side of the store from where Carter was headed and went down one of the aisles, grabbing things and placing them in the basket. Simon pulled out his phone when he had gathered the last of the items, sending a quick text to Carter saying he was finished and walked to the the checkout, meeting up with Carter. He nodded at Carter's question, letting Carter pay for all the items and grabbing up the bags. "Subs sound fine to me." 

Morgan 

Continuing to clean the items around the house and then glancing at the clock as it read 12:00. “Sometimes time just needs to freeze still.” Shaking her head and then setting up the table with fancy glasses and plates for tonight. Pulling out paper plates and plastic silverware to eat their food with so they wouldn’t get the fancy plates and silverware for the party tonight messed up. Going into the bathroom to change into a flannel and yoga pants before she had to take a shower and change into a dress for a party later. Still putting away things when she heard the sound of the dogs barking in the room indicating someone had pulled in. Making her way out to help bring in the grooves and supplies for the party. Setting the stuff in the kitchen on the counter beginning to organzine it into piles. Worry creasing over her forehead and shining in her blue eyes over getting things ready for the party. Letting out a stressed breath she was holding in and moving her hands quicker to put things away that had just got there. “We need to prep the food items for tonight and we need to set up the decorations now.” Words tumbling out of her mouth quickly and nervously and turning towards Addy as she spoke and teasing her. “It’s not funny....I get OCD about parties they have to be perfect.” Looking towards Carter and Simon and pointing a finger at both. “Don’t make me put you guys in the crates in the dog room.” Voice tensing and then going back to her duties she was doing to prep for the party at 6:00.

Addy

Doing what was instructed off her and still cleaning when the dogs started barking. Exiting the house to go catch up Morgan and help carry in the groceries from the store. Laughing as Morgan walked ahead back to the house quicker.  “Someone’s moody and stressed...good luck with her Carter she’s overwhelmed and stressing like usual...she even almost cried earlier worried about meeting your family again...even though I cleaned her down.” Shaking her head and then walking into the house after them and shutting the door. “Morgan....honey the party’s not till another six hours we have time...plenty of time.” Hazel eyes widening at Morgan’s snappy comments and shaking her head again and throwing her hands up in surrender. “Well I’m eating first and then I’ll get started on cooking food for the party.” Grabbing her sub and then a paper plate and silver ware. Frowning at the already made table for tonight with place cards on it.  Shrugging her shoulders and then sliding down against the wall in the hallway and sitting down on the floor to eat her lunch. “Thanks Simon and Carter you both rock...Simon just a little bit more but you rock too Carter.” Biting onto her sub and practically melting away at the savory taste.

Carter

Carter walked in the house with many bags of groceries in his hands, placing them on the kitchen counter and letting Morgan separate them out. He grabbed the bag with the subs in it, pulling out one of them and unwrapping it. "We got subs for lunch," he spoke, picking up half of the sub and biting into it. "Thanks Addy, I try," he replied with a laugh, swallowing a piece of the sub. He quickly finished half of the sub, wrapping the other half back up and placing it in the fridge for later. He wrapped an arm around Morgan and rested his chin on her shoulder, placing a soft kiss to her cheek. "You really don't have to worry yourself to death over this." He let go of his hold on Morgan and moved away. "Do you want any help cooking Addy?" Carter shedded off his jacket, hanging it up in the hallway. 

Simon

Simon helped carry in the groceries, throwing his car keys on the table next to the front door and shutting the door behind him using his foot. He placed the groceries on the counter along with the bag containing lunch. He picked up a paper plate and pulled out his sub, unwrapping it and picking up half. He slid down next to Addy in the hallway, eating the delicious sandwich. "I think everything will go smoothly tonight, knock on wood." He reached down and knocked against the hardwood flooring and smiled. Simon quickly finished off half of his sandwich and stored the rest of it in the fridge as Carter had done with his. "I know I won't be needed in the kitchen, so I'll just help Morgan...decorate." He washed his hands off and dried them on his pants. "Where do you want me Morgan," he asked awaiting a list of instructions he was sure to follow.
