Morgan

Being tugged out of the closet by Carter and hugging onto him hearing Simon’s sarcastic remark towards Carter and shaking her head with a little giggle. “Spiders are a rational fear and I’m glad he shares one fear with me.....even though if Spiders take over the world I’m live bait for them.” Shaking her head once more lacing her hand in Carter’s and tugging foreward out of the room hand still tense in his. Once out of the room and pressing herself into his body in another tight hug. “I can take on a snarling dog  but when it comes to bugs...nope.” Giggling and pressing a kiss to his lips softly and leaning forward on her tiptoes mumbling words only audible for Carter’s ears. “My special gift for you is your checking the bed later for Spiders or else I’m not sleeping in the bed.” Rolling back to her feet and still keeping him in a hug against her. “You’ll always be my hero and take a guess at what my mom told me on the phone last night.” Grinning up at him and blinking her light blue eyes now shining in the light that was over top of them. Ryker walking towards Pepper and rubbing his muzzle against Pepper’s body dropping a chew toy he held and going into a play bow.

Addy

Being pulled out by Carter and blinking her hazel-green eyes when Simon said the sarcastic sentence and proceeded to kill the spiders and take them to the toilet to flush. Pressing close to Simon after he wrapped her into a hug placing a kiss on her forehead. “I think that I nearly scared half my life away.” Letting out the shaky breath arms wrapped around Simon tightly. “Since I thought the Spiders were going to kill me I’ll tell you what I told Morgan to tell you if I died.” Addy being a little overdramatic about the Spiders and pressing closer to Simon. “What I’m going to say is that your the best thing to ever happen to me and don’t even get me started on those gorgeous brown eyes and your sarcasm....I just love all of you Simon.” Planting a kiss to his lips gently and pushing up to lengthen the kiss between them. Hands moving around his neck and standing on her tiptoes lips locked with his and hazel-green eyes closed for a few moments. Gemni giving a loud bark and picking up the ball following after Mickey and Minnie dropping the ball in front of them to play with her.

Carter

Carter nodded, agreeing with Morgan's words over the fear of spiders. Eight legs on anything just wasn't normal! His eyes stayed on the spiders as Simon grabbed one of Carter's shoes and squished them and picked them up to dispose of them. Feeling himself being pulled the room, he wrapped his arms around Morgan. "It didn't bite you did it," he asked, looking her over. Leaning in to the kiss, he brought her into a hug once more. "Are you kidding me, if I find a spider in the bed I might burn the whole house down," he replied with a laugh. Carter smiled at her words, leaning in and placing a kiss on her lips. In thought for a moment, he wondered what her mom could have possibly could have said. "I don't know," he said, giving up easily, "What did she say? Was it good or bad?" He began to worry about the possibility of it being something negative that she said. Pearl trotted down the hallway, tilting her head at Carter and Morgan, nudging his leg with her muzzle and looking up at him, wagging her tail happily. Pepper looked at Ryker confused for a moment, looking down at the toy and back up at the playful Ryker. Pepper wagged his fluffy tail, getting the hint and grabbing up the toy before standing and running away with it, expecting Ryker to chase after him.

Simon

Simon laughed at Addy, shaking his head at her silly words. "Those spiders weren't poisonous enough to kill you." He listened to the rambling words that Addy spoke, a smile growing on his lips. "Awww Addy, you really think all those things about me?" Pulling away from the hug slightly, looking into her hazel-green eyes with his brown ones. "I love you so much, I'll never let anything hurt you ever." He leaned in to a kiss, letting the words seep in to his mind. Buffy rolled around on the carpeted floor of the living room, a squeaker toy in her mouth. Wagging her tail as she played alone, enjoying the sound of the squeak that the toy made when she chewed down on it. Simon looked at the clock realizing the morning was slipping by quickly. "Shall we go get ready to leave for that ride you promised me?"

Morgan

Taking a small breath and giggling softly eyes locked with Carter’s. “Mom signed Addy and I up for a wedding magazine subscription....since apparently she approves of you.” Kissing his cheek softly and playing with his hand in hers by tracing small circles on his palm. “I mean in all honesty....if you wanted to marry me one day then we could have a trashcan or Spiders everywhere and I wouldn’t mind as long as your with me....” Smiling at him and planting one last kiss in his cheek and rolling back to the balls of her feet. “I don’t think it bit me but, you can still kiss my bruise that I got the other day somehow.” Smiling and holding her hand up and twisting it to show the purplish-blue small bruise on her wrist.  “Well since I’m still in a tank top and shorts I’m going to vacuum the house and put the dogs in the crates.”  Dropping Carter’s hand and walking to the empty room that held five dog crates all with bowls of water in them. Whistling for them and throwing a milkbone into it for them. Ryker chasing after Pepper to get the rug toy and stopping with his ears pricked at the loud commanding whistle. Turning and bolting towards the room where Morgan whistled for them. Walking into the crate and crunching the milkbone hungrily. Sitting down as Morgan latched him in and moved onto the rest of the crates and repeating the process all over again.

Addy

Addy taking a sigh still hugging Simon and nodding “I love everything about you but, those brown eyes kill me every time.” Smiling and nodding pulling away from the hug and walking to there room to go get changed. After a few moments and being changed into a black tank top that said “I only like my dogs and boyfriend.” Changing into jeans and boots. Walking out of the room and stepping to the side with a giggle “All yours babe but, try to hurry since maybe Hayley won’t be there this early.....” Rolling her hazel-green eyes at her name and holding the elastic band behind her hair and pulling it into a messy bun. Walking to the counter and picking up her keys and wallet walking towards the door “See ya later lovebirds.” Walking out the door and down the steps that led to the yard. Opening the white gate and entering through to her truck getting into the drivers side and waiting for Simon. Gemni Hearing the loud whistle and lifting her head immediately going to it and going to where Morgan snapped and threw a dog treat to. Entering in and eating it laying down on the crate floor as Morgan latched the crate and moved onto the next dog.

Carter

Carter listened to her words, a smile growing on his face as he became mesmerized in thought of marriage. Something that has been apart of his thoughts for a while actually. Leaning in to the kiss he gave a brief laugh. "You love me that much," he questioned while taking a step back, feeling the tickling feeling of Morgan's finger tracing circles on his palm. Looking down at the purplish bruise, he gave a short peck to it with another laugh. "All better!" He nodded shortly, dropping his hand to his side before turning and going back into the room. "I'll make sure there are no more spiders in this house." He took out spider and insect killer, placing the small containers in hidden places that were also out of reach of the dogs and cats, sure that this would deter anymore pesky creepy crawlies from coming inside. After finishing that task, he walked back into the kitchen and began mopping the floor and clearing the counters. Pearl trotted into the room where Addy had called, walking slowly into her cage and turning before picking up the milkbone and munching on it. Pepper followed in right behind Pearl, twirling around a few times in his crate before laying down and picking up the milkbone and gobbling it away. "What should I cook," he asked looking up for a moment at Morgan, halting the seemingly endless scrubbing of a stain that nearly didn't want to come off the counter. 

Simon

Simon smiled at Addy's words, following after her into the room, first fixing his bed head and then slipping on a gray tshirt that said 'My dog is better than your dog' and a pair of dark jeans to go with it. He then sat down and slipped on his boots. "I'm getting ready as fast as I can," he spoke with a laugh, fixing the bottoms of his jeans over his boots. Standing up, he walked back over to Addy and wrapped an arm around her, placing a kiss on her lips. "Okay, now I'm ready. And don't worry about Hayley." Following after Addy, he waved at Carter and Morgan. "Bye guys, have a nice time with the parents." He shut the door behind him, continuing down the steps and to the car with Addy. Buffy bounded across the house, sliding to a halt inside the room, her tail wagging at Morgan before entering into the last crate and taking the milkbone in one bite. Simon climbed in the passenger seat of the truck, buckling up.

Morgan

Shutting the door to the dogs room and walking back out to the kitchen to join Carter who was scrubbing at the stain on the counter. “That’s been there since we got the little house babe, but you get an A+ for effort.” Giggling and planting a kiss to his cheek gently with her light blue eyes shining with love for him. “I’m guessing whatever our parents like my mom likes Pizza, Pasta, Hamburgers, Salad and basically anything food related like me.” Smiling and grabbing the plates from the cabinet above her and walking towards the table to set it up. Placing them neatly around and walking back to the kitchen to grab the silverware from the drawer. Walking back towards the table and placing them around the table as neatly as possible. Walking back for the final time to grab the fancy cups and napkins to put neatly around the table. After placing the last item on the table and walking back to the Kitchen to join Carter. “We can have this.....” picking up the pasta box close to her of Penni pasta in it and throwing it to Carter with a grin spreading on her face. “This time I’ll try not to burn it......” gulping with a giggle about how last time Morgan made pasta for herself and set the temperature too high causing the pot to bubble over and the noodles turned a medium brown. Shaking her head at the flashback and rubbing a circle in her hand with her index finger. “At least you can cook otherwise we’d die to my cooking.” Laughing at her comment and making eye contact with Carter.

Addy

Once Simon got into the truck and put on his seatbelt she put the truck into reverse and reversed it out of the driveway. Putting it back into drive and beginning to drive towards the stable having small talk with Simon on the way. Seeing the sign for the stables and turning onto the long gravel road checking the time on the radio that read 5:20. Parking her truck in the normal spot and unbuckling her seatbelt and getting out. “I have to get Daisy she’s being used in the lesson and I’m riding with her so I get to be on Noxx another gorgeous gelding the stable owns.” Leading the way to the barn and opening  the sliding doors to the barn and entering inside making her way to Daisy’s stall looking at the beautiful palomino mare who nickered and tossed her head out of the stall opening. “Well hello gorgeousness.” Giggling and planting a kiss to her muzzle and opening the stall door and entering inside the box stall. Daisy letting out another bucket and nosing aganist Addy’s shoulder. Random spotting Addy enter the barn with Simon letting out a loud whinny and tossing his head over the stall door and blinking his brown eyes. The big black gelding giving another whinny and kicking his hoof aganist the wooden stall door with a loud thud and stepping back and fourth wanting one of them to come give him love. Addy lifting her head and stopping the brushing she was giving Daisy to clean her off and watching with her hazel-green eyes Ransom that shined  with sadness and longing before turning her attention back to Daisy. “Honey, can you please go calm him down with treats or go find the serpent herself I don’t want him getting hurt and I have two horses to tack up and get ready.” Trying not to sound bossy or rude and continuing to brush Daisy off. “Love you and owe you big time!” Shoutin it and dropping the brush back in the box and getting out the hoof pick beginning the hoofs now.

Carter

Carter ceased his scrubbing on the spot and shook his head in amusement at himself when Morgan brought up the fact that the stain wouldn't be going anywhere. "Can't blame me for trying," he spoke, laughing at himself. Tossing the rag to the side, he leaned himself against the counter, using his arms as extra support. Sneaking a kiss as Morgan walked by, he watched her set the table for a moment before resuming the last bits of cleaning that needed to be done. Walking back into the kitchen, he saw that Morgan had finished setting the table already and smiled. "That looks great," he replied, catching the box of pasta that was thrown at him. He turned to set the box down on the counter and reached for one of the cabinets and pulled out a pot, filling it with water and setting it on the stove to boil. He turned around, wrapping his arms around Morgan's waist and resting his chin on her shoulder. "I love you," he spoke in a whisper into her ear. Placing a kiss on her cheek, he pulled away when he heard the sound of his phone buzzing on the counter. "Hello," he spoke, answering the phone. "Hey honey, just wanted to let you know that we just landed at the airport and we'll be going by your aunt's house before coming by," his mom replied. "Alright mom, see you soon," Carter said with a smile, "love you too, bye." The call ended and Carter put his phone back down on the counter before turning his attention back to Morgan. "Mom said they just landed and they'll be by soon." He leaned in, placing a kiss on Morgan's lips. "Is your mom close?" The sound of the water boiling behind him caught his attention, Carter turned around opening the box of noodles and dumping them in the boiling water.

Simon

Simon talked about various things on the drive over to the stables, barely noticing the surroundings outside until they turned into the gravel driveway. Unbuckling his seatbelt, he climbed out of the truck when it came to a halt. Simon nodded at what Addy said about the horses, pretending he knew exactly what she was talking about when in reality he had no clue. "Okay," he simply replied. Turning on his heels, he followed her into the barn and down one of the aisles before stopping in front of one of the stalls with a palomino inside. His attention was taken off of Addy and the horse she was brushing when another horse was making a loud fuss. He nodded his head, "Sure thing." Walking over to the gelding's stall, he grabbed a few treats and held them out to him. Ransom took them quickly, making Simon laugh. Simon reached up and patted the gelding's neck, bringing out a few more treats. The sound of boots came towards him, his attention momentarily taken away from Ransom. "What do you think you are doing," a voice asked harshly, "You're going to spoil him." Simon pulled his hand away and crossed his arms across his chest. "I don't think those few treats are going to hurt him Hayley," he scoffed, rolling his eyes. "He was making a big fuss anyways." Hayley in turn rolled her eyes at Simon, her attention averting to Addy down the aisle for a moment before coming back to Simon. "You haven't ditched that pathetic girl yet," Hayley spoke with venom laced in her voice. Simon shook his head, "Don't talk about her like that just because she has something that you can't have." Hayley was noticeably angered by the words. "Whatever, you know you'll never stay together, the one you love is me," Hayley spoke, her tone a voice changing from one of anger to one of manipulation. Simon saw right through it, but decided to play into the little game, "And what makes you so sure?" Hayley shrugged, not bothering to give Simon an answer. "I don't know, how about you tell me," she spoke, taking a step closer to Simon, Simon shaking his head at her. "Aw come on Simon, you know the two of us are meant to be together," Hayley continued. Simon took a step back, feeling uncomfortable with the lack of space between the two of them. "And what about my brother, I mean he is your boyfriend," Simon finally spoke. "What about your brother, he's merely a pawn in my game to make you mine again." The words spilling out of Hayley's mouth angered Simon, but didn't shock him in the slightest. "Never going to happen," he spoke, trying to remain calm. He pushed past her, walking down the aisle and around the corner, running slap into a hard surface. "My bad," he spoke before lifting his head to see who he had ran into. The hard expression of his brother's face stared down at him, and Simon instantly knew that Bailey had heard every word that Hayley said. Simon opened his mouth to speak but before he could, he brother stalked off in the other direction.

Morgan

Leaning into Carter’s kisses and a smile forming on her face with his words. “Not possible since I love you more than you love me.” Giggling at her own words and pulling away as she heard the phone ring indicating Carter’s mom.  Pulling out her phone and seeing that text from her mom, saying she exited the highway. Sending her mom the directions and placing her phone on the counter. “Well my mom gets her in 28 minutes so I’m going to go shower and change into something decent because right now I look like I’m homeless.” Giggling at her own comment and kissing Carter once more before walking off to there shared bedroom. Walking to the closet and flipping on the light and going to her side choosing a burgundy sweater with dark blue jeans and grabbing the silver heart necklace that had etched on the back “M + C” one that he got her once for there anniversary. Walking to the bathroom and hanging everything on the back of the door and locking it behind her.  Taking off her clothes and turning on the shower to hot.  Spending 10 minutes in the bathroom getting ready And cleaning up a bit. Dressed in the burgundy sweater and dark blue jeans she picked out. Brushing her hair and putting mousse in it to calm down some of the curls. Struggling with putting on the necklace for a moment and setting it on the counter top. Putting on the perfume that Carter liked and picking up the necklace leaving the bathroom. Walking into the kitchen and seeing Carter still making the pasta for them. Holding out her necklace and moving her red curly hair for him to put it on. “So is your mom and dad and younger brother all going to be here tonight?” Asking the simple question hoping they all would be there. Despite the nervousness Morgan also felt excitement in the bottom of her stomach to meeting all of his close family.

Addy

Finishing brushing Daisy and beginning to tack her up making sure everything was tight and good on her. Walking to Noxx’s stall and grabbing everything she needed to tack him up and get him ready to ride. Brushing the chestnut gelding and hearing snips of Simon and Hayley’s conversation. Swallowing the hard lump forming in her throat and finishing her brushing on the hose. Now tacking up Noxx and tightening the girth. Walking Noxx out of his stall and grabbing Daisy opening her stalls nd leading both horses out of the stall. Walking to the covered arena and focused on leading the two horses almost plowing into Simon’s older brother Bailey. Cheeks turning red and gulping quickly “S-sorry.....” moving the lead rope so he could pass under her and quickly  leading the horses onto the covered arena. Spotting her student Rylee ready in the arena already with a helmet on. Leading the horses in and passing Rylee the reigns for Daisy. Watching as Rylee got on and walking in a circle to warm her up. Getting on Noxx and trotting him to catch up to Daisy so they could walk together and she could point out mistakes and show them on the horse she was on. Random giving another snort and resting his head on Simon’s shoulder. Stepping back and snorting as Hayley arrived. Pinning his ears and kicking the stall door again mad that Hayley was upset causing him to spark up. Neighing and swinging his head over the stall door snorting down onto Hayley’s hair and beginning to nibble on the hair that looked like straw. Snorting as Simon left and backing up in his stall putting distance between his owner and himself not wanting to be near Hayley.

Carter

Carter nodded in acknowledgement, stirring the noodles in the pot. He hummed a tune that he had forgotten the name of and once the noodles had finished cooking, he turned the knob of the stove to off and set the pot to the side. He turned around with a smile on his face when he caught sight of Morgan coming over to him. "You look beautiful," he commented placing a kiss on her cheek and taking the necklace in his hands, "Just as always." Clipping the necklace around her neck, he spun her around and brought her in for a hug before placing another kiss to her lips. He nodded at her question, "Yeah, they are all coming." He placed yet another kiss on her lips before dropping his hands from her waist where they were resting. He dumped the pot of noodles into the strainer that he had put in the sink before putting the noodles back in the pot and added the sauce mixture to it. "I suppose I should go change into something...cleaner," he stated, looking down at his shirt that somehow got stained. Looking back at Morgan, he smiled, "Do you think you can handle making the plates for me?"

Simon
Simon walked back into the barn after a few minutes, strolling down the aisles and peering into the stalls that were occupied by horses. He stopped at one that caught on to his eye. It was a silver dapple mare that kind of gave off draft like features with a mix of warmblood. The mare nickered at him, bobbing her head up and down. Simon laughed at the mare's goofiness while digging into his pockets and pulling out the last of the treats that he had hidden in there. Reaching out his hand, he offered them to the mare who took the graciously. "Those good, huh," he spoke to the mare. Simon peered down at the nameplate, reading "Firefly". "That's a cool name you got, Firefly." The mare gave a loud whinny causing Simon to laugh once again. He reached a hand up, scratching her neck and feeling Firefly's warm breathe tickle his neck. After a few minutes, Simon backed away as Firefly searched for more treats. "I don't have anymore, sorry girl," he said shrugging. He patted Firefly's neck once more before walking back in the direction he had come before making his way outside to the arena. Before he could make it over to where Addy was giving a lesson, he was stopped by the sound of his name being called. Turning his head, Simon spied his brother motioning him over to where he was standing off to the side at the entrance of a small building. Simon looked over at Addy who was occupied with her lesson and them made his way over to his brother, being pulled inside the building and the door shut behind them.

Morgan

Giggling at his words and planting another kiss to Carter. “Hopefully I don’t burn the plates or already prepared pasta you made.” Shaking her head with a grin on her face and beginning to put pasta on each plate  around the table they had. Finishing and placing it in the middle as she heard a ring of the doorbell followed by a knock afterwards. “Coming!” Raising her voice to indicate she heard and was coming in that direction. Reaching the front door and smiling as her mother stood on the front porch with a box and purse in her arms. Opening the door and stepping back for her mom to come inside the house. “I love the house honey it’s amazing.” Smiling at her mothers comment and leading the way to the kitchen and living room. Clearing a space for the box that her mother set down afterwards. “In the box is a couple months worth of wedding magazines with tips and tricks for when it comes to yours and Carter’s wedding day.” Morgan feeling her face redden and rolling her eyes playfully at what her mother said. “Where is Carter anyways?” Asking the questions and looking around the room for her daughters boyfriend. Morgan shaking  her head with a giggle and leaning back into the couch she was on thinking about what it was going to be like when both mothers started talking about weddings.  

Addy

Riding beside Rylee and instructing as they went along. “So are we ready for the canter?” Asking Rylee who looked nervous but nodding her head with a small smile nervous about cantering since she hadn’t done it before. Smiling reassuringly at Rylee and leaning back making a kissing sound which caused Noxx to prick his ears and bolt foreword like a cannon ball. Falling into a rhythmatic best beside Daisy who was in a lope beside him. Now cantering slow circles in the covered arena they were in. “Good job Rylee....now I want you to stop and canter the other way for me.” Doing as instructed Rylee stopped Daisy and turned her in the opposite direction. “Good....Good Rylee now keep your hands down and heels down princess.” Shifting in the saddle and turning Noxx slightly to keep a better eye on Rylee cantering. Ransom giving another snort and swinging his head over the stall door and rubbing it against the door itching his forehead.

Carter

Carter laughed at Morgan's comment before disappearing into the bedroom. He walked into the closet, shuffling through the hanging shirts and decided on a navy colored shirt that had sleeves that stopped at his elbows and a pocket on the left side. Slipping off the stained shirt, he tossed it to the side and slipped on the fresh shirt. He smoothed the wrinkles out and looked at himself one last time before hearing the doorbell ring. Hearing a vaguely familiar voice, a smile appeared on his face, entering the living room. "Hey," he said warmly walking over to Morgan's mom. He opened his arms and leaned in for a hug. "How was the drive," he questioned, sitting down next to Morgan on the couch. His phone vibrated and he shoveled out of his pocket and looked at the message reading, 'Just a few minutes away.' Typing back a quick 'okay', he shoved the phone back in his pocket. "My family will be here in a few minutes away," he spoke looking between Morgan and her mom.

Simon

Simon turned to face his brother who had a hurt expression on his face. "Look man, I'm sorry, I tried to warn you," Simon began talking first. Bailey just shrugged, "I kind of had a feeling she didn't really love me. I guess I was just caught up in my own feelings that I just didn't notice." Simon shook his head at his brother, feeling guilty that Bailey was so torn up about what had happened. "Listen, don't beat yourself up about it. We good though?" Bailey nodded his head and Simon smiled, happy that him and his brother were still on good turns. Even more happy that a wedge hadn't been formed between them simply because of that wretched girl. A sour taste was in Simon's mouth even at the thought of her. Bailey cleared his throat, catching Simon's attention once again. "So I also overheard that your girlfriend, Addy, wanted to buy Ransom but Hayley wasn't willing to negotiate." Simon nodded, "Yeah, Hayley was pretty nasty about it too." Bailey shook his head in response, "She can have to horse, Ransom is legally in my name so I am the rightful owner. He's Addy's if she still wants him." Simon was shocked at what his brother just confessed. "Really, are you sure," Simon pressed, unsure if Bailey was being serious or not. Bailey nodded his head again, "Yeah, I'm sure, consider it an early wedding present." Simon smirked, shoving his brother's shoulder playfully. "How'd you know I was going to ask her?" Bailey shrugged his shoulders not willing to share the information so quickly. "Tell me," Simon pressed. Bailey held his hands up, "Fine, Mom may have mentioned it to me when she said something about you asking for Nona's ring." Simon shook his head in amusement, knowing his mom would have never been able to keep that a secret anyways. 

Morgan

Watching with her light blue eyes as her mother hugged Carter and let out a tired sigh escape her lips and nodding explaining how the drive was tiring but still her mother was excited the whole time. Glancing at the box full of wedding magazines and then smiling at Carter’s words of his family arriving soon. “I’m excited and nervous to meet them they just need to get here all ready.” Giving a nervous laugh and leaning into Carter’s side a bit. Light blue eyes widening as the door bell rang a few minutes later indicating someone was at the front door. Turning to her mom Morgan cleared her throat once and swallowed the nerves building up in her. “Mom try not to talk Mrs.Beck’s ear off with wedding plans.....yet.” Light blue eyes pleading with her mother a bit to be good with everyone. Shifting in her spot and scooting to the end of the large brown couch to make more room for everyone. Even though there were two little armchairs for more people.

Katrina Blackwell

Hugging Carter and smiling at him Katrina sat down onto the couch sighing with tiredness. “It was a long drive but very well worth it to meet my daughters boyfriend and your parents of course.” Answering Carter’s question and laughing at Morgan’s plea about the wedding talk. “Well sweetie if Mrs.Beck and I have that in common that’s what I’m going to talk about with her. I mean she’s probably dying to plan the wedding just as much as I am.” Smiling at the sound of the doorbell and scooting over as well to make more room on the long brown couch they were on. “Morgan honey stop squirming you look fine and trust me they’ll love you.” Saying the calming words to help reassure Morgan with her anxiety she was having over meeting the parents of her boyfriend.

Addy

Finishing the lesson with Rylee and tying Noxx up in the ring momentarily to collect her check and switch out horses. Leading Daisy back to her stall and untacking  the palomino mare in a hurry. Brushing her off and giving the mare some treats she squeezed out of the stall making her way to a flea bitten gray’s stall that said Peppermint. “Hey Pepper....” holding out treats for him and snagging on his leather halter and tying him up. Brushing the horse off quickly and tacking the gelding up quickly for Simon. Addy finished with getting Peppermint ready she led him out of his box stall with a smile planted on her face. “Simon.....” calling his name a bit louder than she anticipated while holding the gelding’s reigns so he wouldn’t go. Hazel-green eyes falling onto Ransom and watching the sleek black gelding in his stall come back to the she and throw his head over giving a soft warm nicker to Addy and bobbing his head. Sighing and shaking her head she looked to the ground sadly wishing things with Ransom would’ve worked differently and that Hayley would’ve accepted her offer for him. 

Carter

Carter smiled and laughed at Morgan's plea with her mom over wedding planning. "I think the two of you will have plenty to talk about then," Carter stated, "My mom often talks my ear off about it." Just as he finished his sentence, Carter heard the sound of the door bell ringing. He looked to Morgan, "They really will love you." He gave her leg a light squeeze before standing to go to the door. "Coming," he called to the others waiting on the other side of the door. He stopped for a second in front of the door, running a hand through his hair. Opening the door he was greeted warmly, his mom instantly wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. "Hey mom," he said breathlessly when her grip tightened. She soon let go and Carter looked to his dad with a smile, "Hey dad." He came in for a short hug and then looked at his younger brother Kyle for a moment. "Missed you little bro," he spoke taking his brother in for a hug. After all the greetings he turned toward the living room and led the way. Before Carter had the chance to even introduce his family, his mom ran over to Morgan and her mom, taking them into a big hug. Carter shook his head at the sight, but said nothing knowing if he did, his mom would probably scold him. Dad came up next, only lightly hugging the both of them and offering his name, even apologizing for his wife who admittedly forgot to tell them her name before attacking them with her hugs. Kyle however, stayed to the side but offered his name to them with a warm smile. He really wasn't a hugger in the first place. 

Simon

Simon thanked his brother before hearing the sound of Addy's voice calling out his name. "I should probably go before she gets worried about me," he spoke, walking back over to the door. Bailey nodded with a, "See you later," and Simon walked out the door, walking in the direction back to the barn. A smile came to his face when she spotted Addy holding a grey gelding next to her. "Is it my turn," he asked playfully. Simon placed a kiss on Addy's cheek then looked back at the gelding who gave a loud snort that sent snot flying, hitting Simon in the face. "Gross," he spoke with a laugh, wiping the sliminess of his face, "Here, take it back." He wiped his hand on the side of the gelding's face and laughed. 

Morgan

Hugging Carter’s mom back with a smile forming on her face “Nice to meet you Mrs.Beck....do you want me to call you by your first name or Mrs.Beck or.....” starting to ramble off and hugging Carter’s dad lightly before turning to Carter’s younger brother and nodding. “It’s nice to meet you all finally.” Smiling at Carter and adjusting in the couch beside her mother. “So how was your drive?” Asking the simple question to break the ice for everyone and blinking her light blue eyes. “This is my mother Katrina she drove here as well.” Face turning a shade of red when her mother told them all she brought a baby book full of pictures of Melanie and her. Shaking her head and letting out a laugh and leaning into Carter’s side sighing with relief that he was here with her. 

Katrina Blackwell

Hugging Carter’s parents and scooting over on the couch closer to Morgan. “Names Katrina Blackwell I’m Morgan’s mother.” Smiling at everyone and looking at Mrs.Beck with a warm smile forming on her face. “I brought a wedding magazine box for them.” Motioning to the big brown box on the table and then turning to Carter holding out a big black scrapbook “This is for you it’s all of Morgan’s baby pictures with Melanie.” Handing the book and laughing at her daughters reaction. “My job is a dog breeder full time.” Fixing her hair and Sitting up straighter aganist the couch ready to converse with everyone here.

Addy

Smiling when Simon came to her and giggling at what Peppermint did. “Come on kiddos.” Changing her voice like a mother scolding her kids and leading the way to the arena. Once there she opened the gate for them and entered in herself. “Yes your riding one of the calmest horses here.Taking the leather reins and leading the way to the mounting block and holding a Peppermint still. “It’s not that complicated all you do is if you want to turn the right pull with your right hand and kick with her opposite foot and increase the pressure. Vice versa if you want to go left and pull back while leaning back and say woah to get him to stop.” Saying the words that she told all her first timers and holding a black helmet for Simon to put on. “Gotta keep your brain protected babe with a brain bucket.” Laughing at her own comment and making her way to Noxx untying him and leading him to the center. Putting her foot in the strirrup and pulling up into the saddle and fixing herself. Clicking foreword to get him beside Peppermint to walk together. “See honey it’s not that bad is it?” Glancing her Hazel-green eyes in Simon’s direction to see and take in his reaction to being on a walking horse.

Carter

Carter laughed, shaking his head at his mom. "Here we go," he mumbled into Morgan's ear at his mother's excitement when Katrina mentioned the box full of magazines. He sat back down on the couch next to Morgan, wrapping an arm around her. He watched as his mom sat next to Katrina and began digging through the box full of magazines, flipping through a few of the pages excitedly. "It's as if I've already announced that we're engaged," he said with a laugh, his face reddening when his mom tried to show him something on one of the pages of the magazine she was looking at. He decided not to pay any attention to the two and opened the book of baby pictures, scanning the photos and flipping the pages slowly. "You were so adorable," he commented, "I mean you still are, but you're even cuter in these pictures." His eyes landed on a picture of Morgan and her sister playing with a puppy. And then right next to that one, a better one caught his eye. It was a toddler sized Morgan with a bowl of spaghetti dumped on her head, using the bowl like a hat. Carter laughed at the sight. "I have a picture of myself doing the same thing." He looked up at Morgan, grabbing the book of his own baby pictures that his mom had brought him and flipping to the page where the picture he was talking about was. "See."

Marissa

Marissa took a step back, "Please, just call me Marissa." A warm smile was shown on her face as she pulled out a thick book. "Great minds think alike cause I brought Carter's baby book with me too." She handed the book over to Morgan and let out a happy squeal when her eyes landed on the box filled with magazines. She plopped down on the couch flipping through multiple magazines and awing at all the cute things on the pages. "This is so cute, don't you think so Carter," she spoke happily. Not waiting for Carter to answer her, she picked up another magazine and began flipping through it, stopping and pointing at things to show to Katrina everyone once in a while. 

Simon

Simon smiled, "Yes ma'am." He began following Addy out of the barn to the arena. Nodding, he listened to the simple instructions. He laughed at her playfulness, taking the helmet from her and placing it on his head and buckling the strap. He took the reins and stepped on the mounting block, putting his leg in the stirrup and throwing the other one over. He squeezed his legs a little, sending Peppermint into a walk. "Good boy," he praised the gelding, patting Pepper's neck. He looked to Addy who was now beside him on Noxx and nodded, "It's a lot of fun actually." 

Morgan

Laughing at the book and listening to Carter’s comment. “I don’t think I have a ring on my hand do I?” Holding up her left hand to inspect it and placing it in Carter’s face with a giggle escaping her. Looking at the picture that Carter pintednout and smiling “Oh my gosh weren’t you just the cutest little guy.” Light blue eyes shining and nodding to Marissa’s comment. “That’s a beautiful tuxedo, might have to snatch that for Carter.” Winking playfully at him and then turning to Kyle who sat on a chair near by. “What grade are you in?” Asking the question and trying to be kind and include everyone in a conversation. Right hand moving and placing it on top of Carter’s hand and giving a little squeeze letting her thumb trace small circles on his hand.

Katrina 

Looking at the magazines and nodding at what Marrisa said. “That’s a beautiful dress for Morgan don’t ya think.” Holding up the page and showing it to Marissa and the rest of the people in the living room before dog earring the page and grabbing another book beginning to flip through it. “So what is everyone’s jobs?” Flipping through the book and occasionally stopping to show Marissa what she spotted and thought was cute for Morgan and Carter. “There’s a picture in there of you Morgan and it’s of you with your first birthday.” Smiling and turning back to the page she was on spotting another item and showing it to Carter with smile on her face.

Addy

“You look like a pro babe.” Smiling and still walking Noxx next to Peppermint keeping the reins loose. “I still wish that Ransom was available....and one question how in the world is Bailey with that snake?” Scoffing a bit at the thought of Hayley and shaking her head. “But I guess it’s ok since I’m the winner and already have the prize I want.” Motioning to Simon and smiling at him. Noxx snorting and still keeping next to Peppermint walking w bit faster and wanting to trot again. “Hold I’m Handsomeness in a moment.” Adjusting her position and then clicking foreword and kicking lightly causing the magnificent gelding foreword like poetry in motion. Trotting at a slow trot and lowering his head setting it quickly for Addy. “Good boy....yes who’s a good boy.” Saying the words as Noxx was going in a slow trot circle to keep his mind occupied while l working.
