Want something to doodle but not necessarily one of your own characters? Maybe you'd like to surprise a random member with a free recolor? Or perhaps use one of their characters to show off your latest tag sale? You've come to the right place!

Please be sure to include a short bio of every character you post! Can be something about their personality, what sort of regional setting they can be found in, what other animals they like to hang out with, who their mate or offspring are, etc. it doesn't have to be long but this will allow characters to be used more accurately.

He is a war horse who is immortal. Will do anything to protect his loved ones. Has PTSD and deals with it with the help of more fighting and Valkyrie.

She is a witch horse. She really doesn't give a crap about anyone but Glaedr. She is also a siren and will lure you in and snatch your soul to use it for her witchcraft.

Ellie


Ellie loves being around all animals but her favorite are cats and dogs! She  lays with our kittens and dogs! Ellie also love to showjumping! She is a champion show jumper!

Tornado:


Tornado is a vey sweet kind hearted pony who loves to be ridden at night and play under the stars! Her favorite time of year is winter time so she can play in the snow.

Spice:


Spice is a 3 month old Shetland pony who loves to eat bananas and pie! No joke!!!

Phenex

Phenex is a quiet soul, respectful, and willing to fight for what is right.  He's rather reserved, not quick to laugh, but enjoys seeing others happy. 

Physical: Blood bay.  Gold around eyes, nose, stripes on legs, and teeth marks along his jaw line. Coat has flecks of gold throughout it.  Two large grey/black wings.  Tail can be positioned as necessary. Crimson eyes. Dark red black buck horns, left broken.  Warmblood.

Physiological: Fire sprouts from tip of tail, wing tips, and unbroken horn.

Dhormon

Son of Charon.  Determined.  Empathetic.  Playful. Stubborn. Suspicious.

Physical: Bay Roan/Blue Roan Chimera.  Dark dorsal stripe with zebra striping on shoulder. Golden eyes.  Right eye has ice blue spot in lower rear area.  Two horns coming from forehead.  Golden face plate and jewelry shown.  Gold bullring in nose. (Face plate can be ignored, bull ring cannot).  Drafty.

Charon

Charon is a quiet stallion, calculating. His path isn't one you want to cross often.  Proud, demanding, and strong-willed all to a fault.  He's an arrogant stallion, though is loyal to those within his favor.

Physical: Buckskin.  Ice blue eyes.  Extremely scarred.  Leonine draft/Baroque.

Sepulcher

Sepulcher likes anything dead.  Seriously.  He digs graves and hosts funerals for both the dead and the living.  He enjoys learning about the ins and outs of bodies, and is generally happy when covered in some decomposing mass.  Even so, he is childlike in curiosity, insane in the head, and the happiest guy you'll ever meet.

Physical: Silver Bay / Perlino Chimera.  Silver Bay, perlino dappling, perlino rictus grin, black 'stitch' marks on lips, teal eyes, snake tongue.  Gangly warmblood.

Physiological: All body fluids, including: eyes, nose, mouth/saliva, and blood, glows.

Witched

Daughter of Charon.  Anxious.  Sensitive.  Uninhibited.  Defiant.

Physical: Smoky Cream Chimera.  Pale cream, near white, with smoky cream brindling over entire body.  Lavender eyes.  Pale white antlers that shed seasonally.  Drafty.

Azura

Oh dear.  Have fun.  Seductive. Defiant.  Ruthless. Manipulative.

Physical:  Chestnut with tribal markings all over body.  Overo focusing on face.   Red eyes.  Spikes on neck and rump. Draft.

Morrowind

She sees through vibrations entering her horns.  Calm in demeanor, almost cold in nature.  Not unkind.  Distrustful and hurt.  Snarky. 

Physical: Akhal teke.  Pale grey, black brindling.  No ears, two solid horns on top of her head.  White eyes, no pupils.  Rarely removes red cloth from around face.  No mane.

Lightning - Herd leader who takes his job very seriously. Mates with Stardust who foaled Astro. His mane is suppose to be bright gold.

Nyx - Daughter of Astro and a natural leader like her grandfather, Lightning. She has a playful spirit and enjoys getting into mischief. Her eyes are a deep purple color.

Bishop - Mates with Nyx. Follows her anywhere and makes sure she doesn't wonder too far.

Manhattan - Leader of this own small herd. Mates with Flora who have an adopted foal together, Syra. Syra was actually the foal of a mare Manhattan was with before Flora. Manhattan is also a riding horse and competes in eventing/jumping/dressage.

Hawkeye - Based off a horse I use to ride in real life, who has passed. He was stubborn and set in his way but a sweet boy. I use to ride him English and he did small jumps

Xunryn is essentially the oversee-er of all my characters. She lurks in the darkness, often only wandering the land during nightfall. She is a force of evil, and takes advantage of all around her. Master of Manipulation. Although she is often angry and aggressive, she has been seen fighting off Ghost in order to save herd members still with time to spare.

Mates to No one

Currently no Foals, But Polygamous. Will have foals with any being.

Ghost Rider Aka Ghost, is essentially the Grim Reaper of my herd. He circles around where the herd stays, searching for the old, weak and frail to take down. He has no connections other than Soul, his mate. He will do anything for her, and will never leave her. He slays small animals and creatures to feed her need for souls. He is loyal to her, but if a spell is cast upon him, it is possible he will go off with another.

Soul is a dark angel of nature and life. Once an agile and quick being, she has now settled to become lazy and unambitious. She allows Ghost to do all her work for her, and simply reaps the benefits. She is mates to him, but is known to be unloyal. She is known to go off with others, and doesn’t seem to care about the consequences. Rebellious, Dishonest and Lazy. That’s all she’ll ever be.

Devo is a duel-gendered being, neither male nor female. Accepts either gender nouns and able to impregnate others and become pregnant. She is very sweet, and able to befriend pretty much anyone. She has become a leader in the herd’s times of need and is befriended to Xunryn, the only one with a bond to “the beast”. She enjoys water, and is often found swimming and hanging by any water source.

Mack is based on a a purebred Percheron I rode a few years back and fell in love with. He was very doofy, and couldn’t do the most basic things without aid. (I rode him in a fully fenced arena and you had to command him to turn in the corners, he’d run right into the fences otherwise) Otherwise he’s very sweet, and was always happy to cuddle and hang out. He currently isn’t really a part of my herd, so has no mate or anything.

How fun is this thread!  What a great tool for an artist, and a bonus for the people posting too!  I'll definitely keep this thread in mind when I want something to doodle.

Tyr is a sweet mare when it involves people she trusts, but can be a little shy or skittish with new people. Because of this, she prefers people she knows on her back.  She is usually well mannered under saddle or harness, but is a typical Arabian when it comes to scary plastic bags or mysterious shadows.  She is mischievous, headstrong, and curious mare and often gets into trouble-- especially if carrots are involved.

Alone Together

Alone Together is a quiet type, hardly speaking. He is kind and gentle to those he becomes close friends with, but it takes a lot of effort to earn that status. He is shy, and wary of becoming close for fear of losing those he loves. My first, and also my favorite [and probably most spoiled] character.

I will be back when I’m on my computer since that’s easier than posting stuff on my phone.

 Taima: my equisona - markings and addons pertain to me and what I like. 
Native American, I like wolves, music, and feathers, I make jewelry, I do Henna, favorite colors are green and purple, favorite flower is the Easter lily. I'm not a prissy/lacy kinda gal, I like camo and outdoorsy things: beaches, forests, rich green pastures, mountains. She has a furbuddy Tala.

 Thunder: is my real life horse. Registered Pinto, Welsh Pony, Paint, 13.2hh, Western. Retired at 22 almost 23 years old. In the winter, he has the shaggiest coat ever! I've outgrown him but he's my first horse that I've had for over 13 years. He's stubborn and too smart for his own good. Mischievous in all areas. He knows how to open his pen gate. 

 Pecos: is a real life horse though I don't know if he's still around. Registered Quarter Horse, 15.2hh, and a retired champion cutting horse. He was an older friends horse who I met a few years ago when she boarded him at my parents house. We were riding buddies and Thunder and Pecos got along great together and were best of buds. A year after the owner came to us, she decided to move back to her home town and live with her friend but passed away suddenly before she could. She had already paid for Pecos to be shipped back so we shipped him back and as far as I know is still retired at the friends ranch. 

 Penny: is a real life horse that Thunder and I would pass by on our neighborhood rides. He would always stop and say hello and she would nicker directly at him when we would go by. She was Western trained. She was neglected to a point of food tossed on the ground in her poop, walking in her poop, sprinkler poles that stuck out of the ground at least a yard so she couldn't run around and play and the girl who owned her was snobby and worried more about boys then her own horse. One day I saw animal control there then the next week Penny was gone. I hope she was able to find a new home where the owners loved and adored her.

I like to group Thunder Penny and Pecos together as they were real life horses but also because they got along great in real life. Though Penny was never in the same pen as Pecos and Thunder, they would always want to stop by and say hello to her on our rides.

Well I have well over 200 characters, but I'll just post my favorite, most used, and most cherished ones. 

Elanor and Fiona

These two mares have been inseparable since they first met as fillies. They're both kind, gentle, and caring; always up to helping others. 

Clarion

Clarion is a very adventurous stallion. His role as Prime Guardian of the Prismatic planet, let's him travel to distant realms across the galaxy. He is rarely seen on his home planet, as he tends to leave for long periods of time, and only stick around home for a few years before leaving again. His wings will evaporate into thin air, if the need to blend in arises. He also has a merhorse form, if the need of water travel arises. He's never had a mate nor wanted one. But, that may soon change as he enters the Aquarius realm...

Cryptic

Cryptic is the daughter of my stallion Borko, and one of Drasayer's mares. She is heavily disturbed and has lost most of her sanity after all her friends and family abandoned her. Her father tried to stay for her sake, but eventually he left too. After years of babbling and laughing to herself as she wandered the mountainous paths by herself, she stumbled upon a dark crystallized cavern. Cryptic has lived there ever since, and is 'secretly' plotting to overthrow her father, who is King of the planet she's on; and take over the realm. There is a part of her that still cares for her family and friends, and is sane; but it's buried deep within her mind. Cryptic is also a carnivore now, as she has no access to any vegetation anymore. 

Rhoswyn

Rhoswyn is a kind, elegant, and loving mare; who currently resides on Prismatic. But, she wishes to venture to another realm, as she doesn't belong there. 

She's still relatively new, and so I haven't yet come up with a decent personality and story for her. 

Keone

Keone is yet to be developed, but he's become one of my main characters. His mate is Konani.

Kyani

Kyani is a very misunderstood creature due to her role as Guardian of Life and Death on Prismatic. When someone or something is ready to die, she comes to them in a form that will bring them comfort instead of fear. Thus she could be anything from a canine to even a human. Her vibrant markings and partial face mask glow when taking a soul from a being or giving someone life. Her mask used to be on her entire face, but during a battle an enemy clawed half of it off, and scarred her in the process. Her right front leg is bandaged from a different injury.

14.3hh, QH built Appy, TRINITY; the shortest of my herd but still the boss mare. She's smart, resilient and stubborn. Inseparable from Denali. Based off my horse in real life that I had to rehome.
 15.1hh, TBxAppy, DENALI; sensible and reliable. Also a very devoted mom, she sticks close to Trin and mothers both her and Xander a bit.
  15.2hh, appyXtbXdraft cross, RUE; quick thinking and very smart. Denali's last foal. This girl lives apart from the herd but was with the herd until she was weaned as a yearling.
 16hh, appyXdraft cross, XANDER; gentle giant of the herd, very sweet and loyal. This girl also has two feline companions, Lady & Inara

First, always feel free to use anyone from my character website. There's some more complicated ones on there, as well as some super interesting ones. 

For now, I'll just post a few of my favourites here though. 

Oliver - he's a digitized version of my real life horse, aka the absolute love of my life. He's very silly. Likely to be caught with his tongue out. He lives for hay, carrots, apples... etc. He's a nerd, he's klutzy, but he's also extraordinarily smart. He's my perfect match. There are no words to describe how much I adore him. NOTE: ignore the blue eye color on his ref!! 

Carnivale - Carni, for short, was my equisona for a long time. In a way, he still is. He desperately needs a revamp/redesign but I haven't found anyone to do it yet. His markings/tattoos are all meaningful to my family or myself/my personality. He is fiercely loyal and protective of those he loves. He is also whip smart and is likely the first to come up with an answer to any question. Can tend to self-isolate when he is in a bad place or stuck inside his own head too much. His friends (*cough* the rest of the character herd *cough*) help to keep him grounded and get outside of himself as much as possible, though. He wouldn't trade his friends or family for any of the world's greatest treasures. 

Theodore ('Theo') - Theo is an equine version of my late grandfather. He doesn't get enough art love as he should. My grandfather was nearly defined by his service during the Second World War, which is why Theo's design is entirely based on that idea. Theo is a fighter, in short. He loves and he loses with an intense passion. Everything he does is calculated and reasonable, even if it's not obvious at the moment. He can be distant from those he loves, but that is not because he doesn't love them. Since the war ended, he has been plagued by the memories (suffers from mild PTSD). 

Valentin ('Val') - Val is a design I fell in love with at first sight. To me, he is all 'tough boy exterior hiding a soft cookie inside' personality type. His tattoo and nose ring are all part of his outward appearance alteration. Inside, he melts when he sees the first snow of the season and he falls in love with strangers every day. However, he is far too way shy and antisocial to act on any of his romantic whims so he keeps largely to himself. 

Farrah - Farrah is an Army Brat, born and raised. Her father was an accomplished corporal and her mother a distinguished army nurse. She has lived in nearly every fantastical country you could think of and visited dozens more. She has maintained her childlike whims throughout her life. She is playful and always trying to make her friends laugh. She is the first to march into awkward situations because they don't bother her. Fearless and forever young.
