Favorite Christmas Memory: I've never lived in another town that does this, but in my hometown in NJ every Christmas Eve we would get luminaries from the town hall. They were little paper bags filled with sand and a small wax candle inside. Everyone would line their sidewalks with them, then light them to burn overnight. The memory of walking the town on Christmas Eve and seeing every walkway lit up with these gorgeous, flickering lights still gives me goosebumps and makes me tear up. Until just now, I actually had no idea the tradition comes from Mexico, and I have no idea why my town followed it but it's absolutely breathtaking: Clickie here for the Wikipedia Article

Favorite Christmas Memory: I try not to think to much about this as I miss my mama(RIP) but I would have to say I woke up Christmas morning, just sat down to open gifts. My mother brings out a really nice saddle pad. After the gift were open my BFF(at the time) bundled up and went on a trail ride.

@Everyone who entered:

First, thank you so much for entering. It means a lot to me that you trust me to give you something good, and this gives me more practice and time to try out new techniques. Second, I am going to start working on your guys' art right away! I will go down the list that is posted above; so RemRem will get their art first, then Ruby, and so on. Once the art is completed I will post it right away and start on the next one. Since it is Christmas break, I will have lots of time on my hands to get this done! Lastly, my art is not even close to as good as quite a few people on here, but I am trying my best to give you something that doesn't suck! I truly hope you guys like it!!!
