Vacation + News on Op

^{So I'll be heading to Alabama on Sunday, and will be back the next Sunday. Going to my grandmother's farm for Thanksgiving and to visit my old man, Op there. He's recovering well from his lameness, and actually has run around a bit from what I've heard. He's the pony that holds my heart.}

^{Last year trying to get Op to eat something and keeping him company after he laid down and couldn't stand back up. We managed to coax him back to his feet and ease him to the barn. He's at least 26 years old for those wondering. And my grandmother has owned him for 18 years. He was one of the ponies I grew up riding till I out grew him. I share him with my grandma. So, in a way I do have a 6th horse I suppose.}

^{The reason he stays on her farm is because one, he's been there a good portion of his life, and he's bonded with her geldings Bruce and One O' Nine (Nine came from the same breeder Op did. They've been together their whole life.),  so it'd be cruel to separate them. We only have room for two more horses at the moment, and my grandma adores them all of course.} 

^{Anyways, back to vacation. I won't have my laptop with me, just my iPad, and cell phone. I'll check my messages, and anything I've bid on, in case I need to pay for something. But, any art that I don't finish tomorrow will be done when I get back from AL. I'll be sure to take loads of pictures of all the horses, especially if my grandma has any youngsters still.} 

^{I'll be on some tomorrow, but I have some packing to do; so just keep that in mind.}

aww, he's a sweetheart! enjoy yourself up there and hopefully he'll be back to normal in no time! :)

I'm back from vacation and have good news, and bad news. Good news is Op is no longer lame, and is thriving well. Bad news is our 17 yr old+ male Poodle x Terrier mix, Little Bear passed away while we were gone. He's now buried next to my girl, Cleo. He lived passed what we expected and he'll be very missed.
