On The Run

Ramses

He pushed himself through the window quickly, ignoring the shards of glass that cut at his hands. He waved the younger students towards the forest, yelling for them to go faster as he looked around for the threat. His face paled significantly as he noticed two gaping holes on the side of the building, no doubt the works of bombs. Ram quickly shot his eyes to the fences to see the crowd of powerless humans from the morning now tripled in numbers. They all held what seemed to be tranquilizer guns, and were shooting children and teachers with the feathered darts.
"Faster!" He screamed, running after the class, and let out a loud gasp as the kid next to him got shot and collapsed unconscious. He moved to help but as the dangerous crowd moved closer, he forced himself to keep going. 
He pushed bast the branches, and called up to Alice, "As far as you can, don't stop!"

Lynn

She spotted Ram and Alice trying to herd the panicking younger students into a single direction near her. All around, kids were falling to the ground unconcious, bright feathery darts sticking out of them. She ran over to Ram. 
“Do we have a plan? Or are we just running in a random direction hoping to find a safe place?”

Alice

She winced as the children and teachers fell. How could people be so cruel? She grabbed a young girls arm and drug her closer to safety. She heard Ramses yell for her to keep going and ran faster and harder. Alice saw the people getting closer and started to worry, where were they going to go?

Killa

She watched the havoc that ensued from the window. She finally snapped out of it and jumped through, following Ram and Alice. Darts whistled around her. She turned her head and saw humans shooting tranquilizers at students and kids alike. What were they doing? They were kids, for pete's sake! Her lips curled and a loud rumbling growl could be heard above the din. She shook her broad head and raced toward the woods, paws pounding the earth. Someone with a gun had seen her momentary display and a dart dug into the dirt at her feet. She crashed to a stop and stared at it. Her head turned and she met the eyes of the man holding the gun. His eyes were cold and harsh. If he was actually looking, he would see the fear and young girl staring at him from inside the wolf. She jumped back into motion and leaped the fence. She felt instantly safer once in the forest, but she knew the darts could still whistle their way in. Her angry roar hadn't really been anger - it had been the retaliation of a terrified wolf. She looked around desperately, finally seeing Alice and Ram. She arrived next to Ram and ran in sync with him, her tail swaying. She looked at him with wide eyes. What are we going to do? Where are we going? Why do they hate us? She wanted to ask, but she was in wolf form. She also couldn't control shifting very well, and being in this form was best right now anyways. She was more fit and could run longer. Her paws kept on with a rythmic beat. Her future looked dreary, and all Killa could think was - Why do they hate me? 

Ramses

Ram's wide eyes scanned the forest as they ran, his panicked eyes met Lynn and Killa's. He couldn't say anything, he didn't have the answers. He just kept running, ducking his head down when the occasional dart flew past his ear. "Just keep running. Don't stop." He repeated over and over. He looked back to see that the angry human crowd in the distance wasn't following them and was gathering up the unconscious instead. "Just a little farther!" He called up to Alice.
His thoughts finally moved on from the panicky flight mode, and focused on the future that holds them. Was this happening everywhere? Was this some kind of uprising?

Killa

Darts whistled around her head. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth and her jaw was wide. She was panting heavily, running hard, panicking... This wasn't what was supposed to happen here. She was supposed to learn how to control and use her ability better, not run from certain death. She felt a stabbing pain in her paw and horror filled her. She was hit! She looked down and saw a thorn and relief washed over her. She stopped and quickly tore it out with her teeth before sprinting to catch back up to everybody. She glanced behind. They weren't chasing them. Ram's repeated words were a welcome backdrop - it meant that he was alive, she was alive, some people were still alive. Okay, I don't know that they're killing those they tranquilize. But... it may as well be death, right? They must be really evil, terrible people.

Alice

She nodded to Ramses and kept running with the rest of the children. She saw Killa stop and shouted to her "Be careful!" She jumped over a root and ran. Tears from the wind fell down her face as her hair whipped around. Turning her head she looked for Lynn. "Where is she?" She tried to see if she could see her in the fallen behind them. Oh my gosh. Murdering students? Why? Please Universe, let them live.

Lynn 

Lynn saw Alice looking for her and shouted “I’m okay, just on the other side of this strip of trees, keep running!” 
The attackers were picking up the unconcious students behind them. In one of her backwards glances, Lynn saw one of them lifting her sister. This made her stop right in her tracks
“Ram! Ram, they got her, they got Hannah!” 

(Can I have Hannah as a second character? I would fill up a form for her. If we’re only allowed one each she would still be Lynn’s sister but not an active character I guess)

Mika

Terrified, Mika sprinted towards the forest. She peeked out from behind a large tree and saw her worst nightmare. A shiver ran down her spine. Mika leapt over a fallen tree towards the other students and looked behind her again. The attackers were catching up with them. She fought back tears of fear and kept running, her faming red hair somehow camoflaging in with the bush like a tiger.

Mika

Terrified, Mika sprinted towards the forest. She peeked out from behind a large tree and saw her worst nightmare. A shiver ran down her spine. Mika leapt over a fallen tree towards the other students and looked behind her again. The attackers were catching up with them. She fought back tears of fear and kept running, her flaming red hair somehow camouflaging in with the bush like a tiger.

Ramses

Ram skidded to a stop, momentarily dropping to his hands to recover his balance. He looked from Lynn then back to Hannah, swearing under his breath. He almost wanted to tell her to keep moving anyway and that it was too late, but gazing at Lynn's desperate expression made up his mind. He turned toward the school completely, clenching his fists, noticeably shaken. "Everyone follow Alice! Lynn, you come with me!" He ordered and started sprinting back towards the school. He wished he had abilities much like the shifters in this situations, but it looks like he'll have to rely on his fists this time.

(That's fine with me :) As long as her sheet is made at some point but you can take you time)

Hannah

She remembered sprinting out the back door of the school and running for the woods, looking for Lynn. They were in different classrooms. Just as she was about to reach the treeline, she saw her sister’s long tail in front of her and headed towards it, but in that moment. Something stabbed her ankle. Horrified, she stared at the neon pink dart sticking out of her. Then it all became blurry. Last thing she remembered, she was being lifted up, and Lynn’s feline eyes were staring back at her from the woods. “Get away Lynn...” she thought, then Hannah blacked out

Lynn

Lynn turned around and ran beside Ram towards the man carrying Hannah. She could feel her brows knitting together in worry. “Thank you” she said simply. Then, realizing she had turned back into leopard form and he couldn’t understand her, she looked into Ram’s eyes and have a small nod, hoping that would get the message across. Together, they charged into the chaos that was the clearing before the woods

Killa

She stood momentarily confused as Ram raced off. Alice kept going forward, and she jumped back into motion. The fear was tangible in the air. Had any teachers escaped? Part of her wanted to turn around and bite the evil people, but most of her just wanted to run and get As far away as possible. She listened to the latter part and kept running steadily.

Alice

Alice nodded to Ram and kept running, hoping that the others would be okay. She wished she had better powers at times like these, so she could save people. So many times she has seen people die, this time she will save as many as possible.... How much farther?? where will be safe? Last time people got attacked, almost none survived she thought. She pursed her lips and tried to keep going without worried too much

Mika

Trees and shrubs wizzed past Mika as she darted further into the forest. Birds tweeted in scared tones and animals were racing around to find safety. How much further? She thought. She tripped over a tree root and splayed her arms out in front of her to regain her balance. While she was on the floor, Mika glanced behind her again and saw hundreds of casualties on the grass outside the school. A tear ran down her cheek. She had never seen anything like this before. It was times like this when she wished she had more useful powers.
