That feels frustrated when one is trying to breed for:

#1 - Stats
#2 - Conformation
#3 - Color

Either one or a combination of any of them; like me. :)

I couldn't find a single Mustang mare that had less than 65 non-specialty stats and with the other two requirements. :/ At least I found a decent mare for sale who is perfect for the stud I was searching for.

Arabians are at least a little easier to find, however, many of the decent ones aren't available because they're owners haven't been online for up to 6 months. :(

Top it off, I'm stuck with at least 6 horses that need to be converted, and have no credits to do so. I did find a decent Arabian stud locked away for the past 3 months that would work, if I had the credits to convert him, and the mare in question. :/

Basically, it all boils down to this:

How am I EVER going to be able to work with my 200+ amazing babies, most of which can be shown, from the past 2 years that have been locked away if I can't let my older horses go due to the fact I can't breed them to quality stallions and mares? *sighs*

This is exactly why I'm so strict on my conformation and stat standards; to produce excellent horses that can be shown, be good in the conformation department, and possibly even be colorful. :)

When I had my old lines (Trake and TB) that’s what I use to look for. Even my foundation GV mare project goes around in that order. Color can always be changed (marking randomizer, etc) but conformation and stats have to be worked towards.

Well...I need to convert 40+ horses, some of them need to be converted back to their discipline.

And I'm very upset that I can't move base stats in any possible way, 'cause I own one pretty colored Chinco mare that is totally useless in showing...;c

I am also having a very hard time finding mustang stallions with low non discipline stats. I too have horses who need to be converted then back again to their discipline to fix their stats and after the holidays pass I will slowly be doing that. When I go searching for studs all I can find is 80+ non discipline. I have every horse from the day I started playing on this (my original account). Legend and Eragon were my first mustang pair one was from the tutorial the other purchased in may of 2016. I don't brood but if you have any mares to breed you can look over my studs and let me know if you like any of them and I will convert those after the first of the year to fix their stats...my mustangs are endurance.
The account name is HiddenAcresMustangs. I am breeding for conformation, pattern, color, and low non discipline stats. I also have some solids to choose from.
I am also looking for some fresh mustang stallions to breed to some of my mares.

I thought I would share these with you. I know I used my stud a little early but I wanted to see what he would produce now I am not so sure I want to share him lol I just love the outcome of both these girls

I end up just breeding enough of my own to eventually get a pair for my horses.  But I have 6-10 horses locked between the age for 18 and 20 because there's nothing available of my standards and I don't want to just let the breeding go.

New memversion don't quite understand ns stats, but see that hayrides give more stat's than othe treats, and end up feeding those.  I only give them to foundations and foals, where I know I can set them to the wrong specialty and later convert for only the 10k.

I pretty much avoid anything cubed in the correct spec for my horses (generally western) because unless the horse is amazing it's not worth the 2evc.  My breeds (paints and qhs) are overb red and inbred for the horse market, but are good confos and pretty colors for cheap prices (because high end breeders won't touch the horses) so it just goes on and on and gets worse. I've thought about buying up all the bad ones since their so cheap and letting them die off, I just don't want to take up all my space with bad horses, even for a short time.

I have mustang mares/stallions etc on a spare that are foundations mostly, but since the majority are higher in non speciality stats than I'd like, I don't actually know what to do with them hence they've stayed locked until I figure it out or can find enough credits to convert them. I've been tempted to start another foundation herd of Mustangs and I don't need that lol.  I'm in the same boat with some Arabians too. My solution to not having a breeding pair is to find a foundation around the same age that I can either convert or raise stats with cubes then convert, if I absolutely cannot find anything else or don't want to wait any longer. I keep an eye out in case I do find something to replace it but most times I'd rather just introduce a foundation and take the stat hit for the sake of being able to continue.

@maple I have some mustang studs with low non discipline stats. I made the mistake of feeding hay cubes too long and I need to get them back to their real stats (double convert). I will be fixing them after the first of the year. I have their base stats in public if there are any you would like to use to lower those foundies non discipline stats let me know and I will fix those first.
They can be found in the paused gent division

Im with you Nittrous ,that due to a fact that players are aiming for high stats and confos(which isnt bad at all),whats going on in breeding world is insane. Totally inbred and overbred. Its frustrating. Of course there are great breeders and horses with high stats and confos and whos pedigree isnt inbred and is pure. And these lines are kept private. Like i do.
I have thought about this alot aswell that if i had lots of money id try to buy lots of overbred and inbred pixels and let them die.... to "clean up".
I think for many breeds its gone out of hands. Same inbred lines over and over and over again. Just the other day when i thought about starting a small herd of gypys,i checked whats in the market and i was so shocked what i saw forsale. Pretty much every salehorse had the same pedigree..(there were some nice pure lined ones and stores aswell of course.) but still..

I mean, feels like its all about stats now, doesnt the horse pedigree means anything at all? i always thought that was what gives the horse the value aswell besides stats, points, conformation.

I hope i didnt upset anyone and You all understand where im coming from :) English isnt my mother-language and maybe i didnt set all my words correctly and some might understand wrong way. :) And im sorry if it went off-topic or doesnt fit here :)
But i just spoke with my EV friend today about this and then i saw this post and i just had to let it out :) sorry :)

I most likely have the minority opinion on this, but might as well share it on the subject.

Frankly, I do not see the big uproar over a horse's pedigree.
Yes, it is frowned up on to inbreed and "overbreed" but in the end, a horse's pedigree does not affect anything about how they do in the game whatsoever. Just like conformation, it is a choice in whether or not you decide to pay attention to it.
If people want to inbreed, let them inbreed.
If people want to overbreed, let them breed 10+ horses.

Note, I do not believe "overbreeding" is a thing. To me, the term puts down people's desire of breeding as much horses as they like.

It all comes down to preference. Inbreeding may devalue a horse to one person but not another. A horse with 10+ horses may lower the value of a stud/brood to one person, but not another.
"Clean up" may seem like a good deed to those who care about it, but also remember those who don't. Not everyone will appreciate it.

But, if a system was put into the game where inbreeding did affect how a horse does in the game, I would understand a bit more.

That's just my opinion on it :)

I'm confused. I thought inbreeding wasn't possible.

@Burping -
Inbreeding isn't possible within a short line - mother to son, grandfather to granddaughter, but it is still allowed.  Two horses could have inbreeding far back in their pedigree, which with a lot of high-confo is common because breeding two high confo horses together makes a higher confo horse.   Add to that some horses that have 150+ foals, it's hard to not find those lines weaved into every horse there is that isn't a private line.

For those looking for a good non spec stat broodmare, I'm willing to offer up this girl, a custom mare I made some time ago.
Delta's Wave
I also have this stallion who is also a custom horse.

Most of my mustangs have great stats , with very low no specific stats.. not sure what generations you're looking for.. I have 2nd gens and up..and a few with single digit non specific stats... I don't advertise publicly as i try to keep my 2nd gens and low non spec stat horses in house only..but I do private agreements

I personally look for horses that haven't been bred a super huge amount. I.e. - 7 times or less preferably and no inbreeding at all; for example, no Star of David inbreeding from far back for Mustangs. Which is from EV 1.0. Oh..... THAT was a nightmare for me, and it still haunts me to this day with some of my locked babies; as I have to carefully choose horses that aren't from those imported lines, from Mustangs that have been created since 2/13, or from foundations.

That is my biggest problem at the moment. :) I'm trying to create and work with horses in ALL my herds that have higher conformation, lower non-specialty stats, and pretty at the same time. Is it hard? YES. But it's worth it to me and I won't give it up anytime soon.
