Hurricane Irma

For those who are in the path of the storm, please be safe.

As for me, I'll be evacuating this afternoon after I get done with work as I'm in South Carolina. I'll be heading north back to Tennessee to stay with my family until at least Tuesday (or later depending on the extent of the damage).

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep everyone who is being effected not only by recent Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, but by all of the horrible wildfires in Montana and further out west and the recent Mexico earthquake in your thoughts. Mother Nature is no joke and not something to play around with.

I live in south Florida. My dog and I evacuated to NC on Wednesday. So glad I left when I did!

I'm hoping and praying for the safety of all the humans and animals that are staying 

We'll be getting hit with some 50-60mph winds, big storms, and maybe isolated tornadoes. It really sucks, but we'll be sticking here unless we receive worse news. We're in Georgia, and not real close to the coast; so hopefully we should be okay. 

Be safe everyone! I'm in central FL and not budging. I have too many animals and not enough car space, I refuse to leave them so here I will stay.

Also in Florida. I'll be riding it out at my college and hoping my family in central Florida near the water do okay. Roads are a mess. I-75 runs right through we're I am and at 7:00 am it was hardly moving, same at 3 pm. It's a 3 lane highway and people are making it a 4 by using the side (absolute madness). Good luck to everyone in Irma's path!

Hey, y'all. I'm in northeast Florida and with the current projections I should be safe. The storm is now predicted to head up the west coast of Florida in Gulf waters. This means that people in Georgia and Alabama are now at greater risk than I am. Please be careful if you are in these potentially affected areas. To anyone who is making last minute evacuations, I hope and pray you will be safe in spite of the increased traffic.

I got through Irma safe with little damage to my home. My garage flooded but most of the stuff in there was off the floor and I had a pine tree come down in my driveway but it didn't hit anything on the way down.

Finally got power back today and internet later tonight! Super stoked! Water should be back on tomorrow and everything will be back to normal.

I hope everyone else got out unscathed and didn't have too much of a bad time with it!

I live in California, but my grandparents on my mom's side live in Florida and if the damage to their home is really bad, she's going to fly out to help. Let's hope they're doing okay!

I live on the western side of US and don't get tornados or hurricanes but we do get fires. Stay safe everyone on the eastern side and stay safe Montana..anyone on here live there where the massive fire is?
