This might be a super trivial suggestion, but I would love to see polo wraps instead of the boots we have now. Even from a realistic point of view, polo wraps are more widely used.

I know this is kind of a lame suggestion but I just started a a new foundation line and bought a ton of dressage tack so it was on my mind lol

Skid boots for the rear legs are common for reining competitions, though sport boots are commonly used on the front legs. Higher speed competitions like barrel racing and roping it's common to see sport boots on the front, or all 4 legs. Bell boots on the front are pretty common too.

There's a lot of different types of boots and wraps, it would be fun if each discipline had it's own

skid, sport, and bell boots for western
sport and hoof boots for endurance
polo wraps for dressage
brush boots for jumping
rundown bandages for racing

only odd one would be driving lol though maybe brush and/or bell?

The boots in game would have to be re-designated as individual tack pieces, but it's a fun idea

thank Eliza♥ I knew there were western boots I was forgetting lol. I would love bell boots, even if they came in just brown, russet, and black :D

I googled it and tendon boots are often used for driving, along with these things for traction on pavement :3

From an IRL driver -

Scoot boots are for horses that do not have metal shoes,  and are used by a wide variety of disciplines. Small ponies / minis that drive often use a scoot boot / easy boot as it's not very easy or efficient to try to shoe them with traditional shoes.

For traction on concrete heavy rubber liners for normal shoes are often used.

As for boots generally used for driving,  that can be a bit of a hot topic and depends on what driving sport you are doing,  with interference/ brushing boots being fairly common for the arena based events,  and XC boots are generally preferable for marathon type events. A lot of drivers don't use boots at all, and bell boots are pretty common for pairs / fours where one horse might step on the horse next to it
