Foal's Conformation off or no?

Hey,

It's been a while since I breed any of my horses so while what I am used to tells me my New Foal's conformation is off with her breeding, I don't know if it is off for the current game system.
If you go to my "Currently Training" division the horse I'm talking about is named "New Foal."
Does it seem off to anyone else? I would think that her average confo should be between her two parents' values. And that a perfect with a poor should at least yield a good not a poor. Lastly, I thought height was supposed to be a value between the range of the parents', but hers is higher than either of her parents.

Actually the conformation looks like it's within the parameters for breeding. I'm not sure of the exact formulas, but it is not a direct average of the parent's values. There's definitely a randomness factor in there that produces foals with somewhat better averages than their parents, but there's nothing way off about your horse's scores she just got unlucky in a few of the traits where her parents had wide margins between them. 

I think Height also acts in the same way with a random factor thrown in to produce horses that can vary a bit more in height, but not much more or less than their parents.
