--I've had then since starting this game nearly 2 years ago.

--I think I'll enjoy the new challenge.

--Because they're my fav RL breed; I also love the the color and pattern variety.

I love it; it's a new challenge!

I think the art is beautiful, they're very versatile, loads of colours and plenty of breeders!

I love Beca's Bregan that is a lovely QH, *steals and hides among enormous herd* < good luck finding her now ;)

Haha, she was a breedless import that I bought from kimtia. I could resist; there's so many bays, blacks and chestnuts out there so I just had to... now I'm poor but oh well ;)

What's not to love? I love the new breed art, and in real life the first horses I rode were typically quarter horses

Are you new to the breed or did you already have QHs before the recode?
Brand new. I bred some super successful mustangs over on the old version, then got to the recode and didn't like their art at all, so I'm switching to paints and quarter horses.

What are your thoughts on the new conformation? Love it, hate it, just going to ignore it?
I like it. The numerical system makes it a little easier to tell whats good, what's not good, etc. And then for the art, I think the face could be a bit more quarter horsy and I don't know why it's facing forward instead of to the side like the paints, but otherwise, I like it.

Why do you like breeding QHs?
I have QHs in real life, and they're my favorite breed of horse.

What do your QHs specialize in?
Western. Some will be performance and others will be pleasure. It'll be discerned by their name.

Who is your best QH? (link if you can)
I just started with foundation store stock, so hopefully I'll be able to buy some good ones! If anyone is selling a 400+ stat, let me know c:

Other: I won't be shooting for QHs with big paint patterns like this. I totally would if paints/QH could be cross bred (because they're essentially the same breed just one has color these days) but I'll be going for a solid base with other modifiers like roan or dun.
Overall: 6/10, not the quality confirmation i'd be looking for, but a great color.

Welcome to the Quarter Horse breed Elegant! Always glad to have another person breeding Western QHs.

Yeah there are a large number of players, roanwatch and Rising Dawn? who breed for solid colored QHs rather than ones with paint markings. :) Personally I just loved the challenge of breeding for the paint markings on the old EV, but now that paint markings can be bought in the Credit shop it isn't as much fun (the reason I preferred markings over color in the older EV was that color could be bought, but markings couldn't) so I'm thinking of moving into conformation (which can't be bought in the store); but with color and patterns still being a big part of my lines. :)

-What Are Your Breeding Goals Now?
My breed goals are really just to focus on stats, I don't really care for the conformation right now. Perhaps it will be my next breeding goals after I'm satisfied with the stat range.

I'm actually new to QH, but before the recode, I was working on Knabstrups. It's okay though, I knew it was coming.

-What are your thoughts on the new conformation? Love it, hate it, just going to ignore it?
As I said, I'm just ignoring it for now, but I'll probably get back to it later on. It's hard balancing stats with conformation.

-Why do you like breeding QHs?
The art is SOO pretty! I also plan on getting into the Reining discipline in real life. Quarter Horses are one of the best breeds to use in that crazy sport.

I know what you mean. My own store horses are not doing as well as I would like them too.

I already was breeding QHs on the old recode, and mainly focused on Stats. Got to a point where I found that a lot of the highly stated QHs, including mine, had very long lines. Starting off clean with customized QHs, and will be focusing on increasing stats over generations.

What are your thoughts on the new conformation? Love it, hate it, just going to ignore it?
I actually love it! I would eventually like to work on getting as close as I can to perfect conformations, but one thing at a time lol!

Why do you like breeding QHs?
I ride QHs in real life, love them!

- My goals haven't really changed. I originally bred for stats and colors. I may start up another line to look breed for all three: conformation, color and stats.

- I'm on my second generation currently, working toward my third and a possible second line.

- I'm a fan of the conformation, simply because it gives me a new goal. I mean, it was there before but I found it easy to ignore.

- QHs are my favorite irl, they can do anything. My first two loves were Quarters which is why I'm here.
